[music playing] other stars include hugh, jaime and melissa. earlier we showed you the stars who turned up here in louisville kentucky to muhammad ali's funeral. i sat down with his daughter laila who said she simply had to get used to the fact she would share her father with all of his celebrity friends. >> one of the things that i found so kind of heart warming --

[ indiscernible ] how they were reduced to fans when they would interact with your father. >> i am not surprised. none of the family is surprised. i don't think my father is surprised at the -- the outpouring of love for him because it has always been there. even before he passed. my father is so much more than just an athlete. he is not only the greatest boxer in the world but one of the greatest men in the world. everything he did came from a place of courage and love and peace. those are the things that as humans strive to be. >> for so many people he was a hero and mentor. how do you share him with all of us? >> well you have no choice when it comes to my father -- and sharing him i have been doing it since i was a young child. people told me how much they love my father and -- they have -- been sad about him having parkinson's. he never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him. he still went out and did his

humanitarian work and touched people the way he always has. >> one of the things that sticks out most to me is the picture you posted of you when you were a baby and him -- when you look at that picture and you look at that little girl -- what do you say to her? >> i know that -- my father and i had a special connection. we all had a connection with my father but mine unlike any other because we both did the same thing. we both have been hit upside the head and hit some people upside the head. it is a whole different thing. it is his legacy. none of his kids boxed and here i come. he didn't want me to embarrass him which i didn't. he didn't want me to get hurt which i didn't. he was very proud. >> that has too be very peaceful for you now knowing he was very proud in what you did. >> i would say my father would be most proud of me because i do what is in my heart just like he

did. even though -- like i chose at a young age -- i was like i don't want to be muslim. that was a big problem after everything he stood for. i had my own -- he respected me for that because it is like that is what he did. i am free to be who i want to be. that is what we want all people to do. we will miss him but -- it is time to say good-bye. >> i will always remember that muhammad ali said he who is not courageous enough to take a risk will accomplish nothing in life and he accomplished so very much. >> the greatest . he will never will forgotten. we will be right back.
