>>reporter: mario woods mother and other family members are expected to attend. the vigil is expected to get underway in minutes, some people are still arriving at the church. as you mentioned shortly after the vigil wraps up, supporters of mario woods are going to march down to the area a few blocks away where mario was actually shot to death. as grant mentioned mario woods would have turned 27 on a day on what members of the coalition have dubbed mario woods day. he was killed by san francisco police last december. the shooting was captured on cell phone video. the autopsy confirmed he was shot anyone times although the city attorney's office said officers fired beanbags, rubber bullets and use pepper spray before resorting to bullets. police say mario's close were bloody and that was was holding a knife when they confronted him. the autopsy revealed he had several drugs in his system at the time. the shooting park -- sparked public outrage. the woods family filed several

really want to do the work. >>reporter: the sfpd poa president said they held the event at the spots as a reminder to build bridges of understanding with the communities they serve. how this ceremony will help is unclear as the skies were over the iconic crossing. the first of the three baton rouge police officers killed in sunday's attack was laid to rest today. matthew gerald was a 41-year- old marine and former blackhawk crew chief who served three tours in iraq. he had only been on the baton rouge force for one year. he leaves behind a wife and a three-year-old and a nine-year- old daughter. after the funeral service a process in two -- procession took him to the louisiana national ceremony -- cemetery. firefighters in the north worked quickly to put out a growing grass filer.

the fire started around 1:00 this afternoon in the grandview drive area of vacaville. firefighters say the fire quickly grew to nearly 30 acres ponting evacuations of nearby homes. that fire was burning between alamo drive and jerry glen road that is right off interstate 80. all evacuations have been reopened and fire officials say the fire is no longer a threat to homes. male, middle-aged with blonde hair riding a bicycle shirtless with striped shorts job up to her and asked if she needed help. that is when they say she tried to -- he tried to grab at her. she reacted and ran towards a local elementary school in the area and grabbed a summer counselor to tell her about the incident. now san mateo county sheriff's office are urging parents in the area to have a talk about stranger danger to their kids to avoid an incident like this from happening again. >>we have increased patrols in that area and we are trying to spread the word as much as we can that this happened. for now we have not had any additional reports of anything similar. which is good. the important thing is we want people to know that this happened in this area. it can happen anywhere. >>reporter: because it can happen anywhere once again authorities are urging parents to talk to their cage about --

morning. >>i am trying to get home. >>reporter: that is what many of the southwest passengers are trying to do at oakland airport, but the airline was not making it easy. >>they canceled flights for two days and now there are no flights available. i checked multiple airlines out of oakland and san francisco and everything is sold out. >>reporter: nearly 2 dozen southwest flights were canceled friday and more than two thirds of their flights were delayed. >>i was supposed to get to baltimore at 1:00 in the morning and now i will get there are 2:40 in the morning. >>reporter: the delays and cancellations stem from a computer router failure on wednesday. >>i did not expect it would continue through today i thought we would get through and get by. >>reporter: while repairs are completed the delays and cancellations continue because many planes and crews are not in the right locations. >>were trying to get to southern california because my sister is getting married.

green to put his recent arrest behind him after reaching a plea agreement today. he got a $560 fine for a noise violation in a deal that gets rid of his misdemeanor assault and battery charge. this of course from the incident in east lansing michigan he is accused of slapping a michigan state football player in the face earlier this month. greens a year said he was defending himself in the incident and the warriors star got no special treatment with this plea deal. green is in vegas right now with the us basketball team preparing for the olympics next month. police are asking people on the beach of pacifica to be on alert after a shark was spotted off the coast. this happened around noon yesterday roughly 80 yards off the shore. we spoke with a few surfers who say they will not let this sighting stop them from getting in the water. >>they are out here all the time anyways.

one of our top stories, munich police say 10 people were killed including the likely attacker in a shooting in munich. investigators say he believes the shooter killed himself, appears to have acted alone. this happened at a mcdonald's. police say the suspect is an 18 year old german iranian who is from munich. munich police did give a cautious all clear saturday morning. local time there they are -- this was seven hours after the shooting. this was a crowded shopping mall and the gunman started shooting at children and walked outside and started shooting more people. the chief said the motive is not fully clear. witnesses some reported that he was saying god is great in
