good morning, everybody. we're taking a live look outside. this is from our embarcadero camera. it's going to be a warm one. no fog or overcast skies, it's going to be another warm day. i want to say good-bye to rebecca symptom who will tell us all about the -- strom who will tell us about the weather. it will be a warm one again. a couple of degrees cooler, you won't feel much of a difference. this is our future tower camera there's not too much fog as far as the inland location. we're seeing a little passing

through san francisco. all of this will clear out and open up to sunny skies and a lot of warm temperatures. right now it's mild out there. 55 degrees for san francisco, 59 oakland, and 61 in san jose. this is what it will look like around lunchtime. it's cooler and it hit 100 degrees. again, it's still going to be warm. you won't feel that much of a difference. fairfield today, expecting to be 98 degrees around lunchtime. 76 for oakland, 87 degrees for san jose and a nice comfortable 65 for san francisco. i'll let you know how long this heat trend will last, back to you. a oakland police officer is recovering in the hospital after she was shot at last night following a car accident.

the officer was responding to a call at 9:30 and she was involved in a vehicle accident on 73rd avenue. a man approached the officer's car and fired a shot. the bullet hit the police car, but the officer was not hit by a gunfire. >> there were several shots fired at the officer. we know the person has a gun, took that action to an officer, what will they do with one of our citizens. we're following up with any leads and again, speaking with the officer to obtain as much information as possible so we can understand the person responsible to locate them. police have not released details. as you heard, they're looking actively for the shooter. on kron 4 news, an uber driver is behind bars on suspicion of sexually

assaulting a passenger. that's where the incident began. it's a frightening situation for anyone who uses ride sharing services. an uber driver is waking up in jail accused of a sexual assault of one of his passengers. police say a woman was getting a ride home to her house in palo alto when she called for an uber pool which allows you to share the ride for other passengers. the driver asked her to sit in the front seat, he never picked up other drivers and he touched the woman's leg and tried kissing her. her name is rudolph jajera, they're asking anyone who may have been a victim of something similar by this uber driver to give them a call. i'll be at here -- here with

for your money this morning, let's look at stories that may impact your bottom line, starbucks sales are slowing down. the coffee chain sox, i think it's about the sales in the last quarter. it grew 7%, it didn't meet wall street expectations, it's announced that it's raising pay for employees 5% and raising menu prices by 10 to 30%. the ecoaly outbreak in chipotle's restaurants is having a large impact. restaurants across the country

bay bridge toll plaza and it's going to be a lot of hot temperatures today, it's not bad right now, 59 in oakland, 61 for san jose as well as livermore, 61 in concord and 60 degrees in antioch. planning your day, we'll see things start to hand up and lots of sunshine around the bay area, there are clouds in the golden gate, it will open up to clear and sunny conditions, especially this afternoon. 5:00 in evening, it will be another warm evening. brace yourselves for that. get your air-conditioners ready, put your fans on and around the bay inland, it will be quite warm by the 5:00 hour, we'll see mild temperatures around the coast. here's what it looks like around lunchtime. you can see it's a little cooler than yesterday. it's still very warm. especially for inland locations, 98 degrees expected,

98 also for livermore and 76 oakland, and 79 hayward and san francisco and half moon bay are coming in at 65 degrees around noon. the heat will be sticking around, that's for sure, as you head back to work tomorrow. we'll be in the 70s, possibly 80s around the bay and along the coast we'll be mid-60s and tuesday we'll see temperatures spike, we'll see triple digits for the inland area locations and 80s along the bay, and along the coast it will be gorgeous, a great beach weather, mid-70s are expected along the beach. back to you. let's turn to world news. we learned more about the teenager that killed nine people in munich, germany. the shooter planned the attack for a year. he was a mentally troubled man who had two months inpatient psychiatric treatment last year. police say he researched

rampage killings and had no apparent links to isis. they have not named the killer, but they said that ali samboli had dual german and iranian nationality and he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. what police found were numerous documents on rampage killings, hundreds built a makeshift memorial at the site of the shooting. >> my friends are affected. i'm so sorry for the people who were here at the moment. >> it's scatteredded in pieces, i can't believe it's happened in your own neighborhood. >> pray for munich. pray for the world. >> police say that he had no

political motives. police are questioning his parents as well. >> bringing it back to california, police say that a burned body has been found at the scene of a wildfire that is threatening 1500 homes in santa clarita, there's no evidence that the crime was related. people are ordered to evacuate, the wildfire that has consumed 31 square miles of brush. fire officials say some buildings have burned, but it's not clear if they were homes, garages or other types of buildings. 900 firefighters are on the front lines this morning. a fire has consumed more than 6300 of steep mountainous violence near the sebron us ridge, they're getting help on the ground from bay area fire department. people are being asked to

we're back on kron 4 news week, let's take a peek outside, plenty of sunshine there, no clouds, this looks like yesterday. >> it really does, it's going to be a carbon copy of yesterday, you're going to feel the heat, that's for sure. we're going to see a degree or two, i don't want to use the word cooler. we're going to feel warm out there. in the valley locations, we'll see 90s today. we saw some areas hit the triple digits. today we're expecting the upper 90s, but no triple digits as of right now. it's 7:30 in the morning and

it's a pretty picture here overlooking sfo, again lots of sunshine, but no matter where you're traveling around the bay area today and it's going to be warm. any low lying clouds that we're seeing, especially the golden gate bridge that will be cleared out as we head into if the later morning hours, getting into the afternoon. temperatures right now, pretty much on the mild side, it's 59 oakland, 61 in san jose livermore and concord, and 53 in santa rosa. we'll see a real jump in temperatures this afternoon. we'll have lots of sunshine and very warm today especially in the evening, so right around 5:00, it's going to be very similar to yesterday, hot for around the bay and also for parts inland as well. we're going to see mild coastal temperatures though, if you're headed to the beach it will be much cooler today and comfortable for you.

a suicide bombing attack in cab you will -- kabul in afghan. we brought you this story yesterday morning on kron 4 news weekend. 81 people are dead, more than 260 people were injured. isis is claiming responsibility for sending two suicide bombers into that crowd. minority sheite muslims were trying to get the sunni government to give more electricity in that community. >> kron 4 maureen kelly talked to a woman who is grieving the loss of her husband and daughter. >> many people will miss her husband mark who she describes as authentic, real, and compassionate and she didn't want to go on camera, but showed us pictures, this

picture is one of him tending his beehive. he did everything, he made everything exceptional including being a father of her children. she called her daughter capable and funny and intelligent and mischievious. they were together in honolulu when a wave came in and washed the girls into the water. a bystander was able to get the older girls in and mark jumped in to try to save mina, she wasn't surprised that he gave his life trying to save his daughter. there was no way he would have come out without her. while it's hard to see a way forward from this tragedy, because the law is so big, she takes comfort in that they passed over together. they're asking in lieu of fathers, a donation be made to a hawaiian group to get

we're back on kron 4 news weekend, the game pokemon go has taken the nation by storm. thousands of people hit the streets in san francisco for a pokemon go crawl. we have the event how it started and other organizations got involved. it was not hard to find people

playing pokemon go on the streets saturday. >> i saw a lot of people playing, i never saw the official organizer. >> he said that before he ran into jackson heart who set the whole thing up on facebook. he's living in boulder colorado and came home for the pokemon go crawl. >> i wanted to see if i could help participate in the events going on. >> a social media let a group knowing where they can catch pokemon together. >> i was able to bring in 3.2,000 to attend the group. >> he's the chaperone and we follow what he says. >> various people dropped lures for pokemon to gather in one place. >> downtown is the place to go for pokemon go. >> the organizer went one step

we won't see triple digits, it's going to be in the upper 90s, it will be a warm week ahead. here's what it looks like outside at the golden gate bridge right now. we have foggy conditions at the gates here, all of this will start it clear off, especially right around 10:00 or 11:00. before noontime you can expect clear conditions and lots of sunshine in those areas. right now temperatures, 55 degrees in san francisco, 59 in oakland as well as innovate, # 0 degrees for hayward -- novato, and 70 degrees for hayward. and hayward will be the hottest spot, one of them, we'll have lots of sunshine no matter where you are in the bay area. it will be a warm evening as we go into the 5:00 hour tonight. it will be hot around the bay and for inland it will be mild though, if you're headed to the beach around the 5:00 hour if you're going to be out here.

florida. the sexual assault was on camera, the video has not been released, it does show according to police, a man attacking a woman next to a dumpster, the linebacker at the university of florida is one of the people who pulled a man away from a woman. he's on charges of sexual battery. they have reason to believe he may have assaulted other women as well. traveling to san francisco can be a hassle if you're driving during commute hours. it's a problem that can cost you money as well. you may never see the fine coming. this is in this morning's edition of people behaving badly. have you had a ticket show up in the mail and you don't have a inkling on why you got

welcome to kron4 news weekend as we take this live look outside from our embark camera this morning expecting another beautiful day along the coast and toasty hot temperatures inland. good morning i'm marty gonzalez along with rebecca stromb and she's here to tell us more about hot temperatures we are continuing to deal with for the second day in a row. >> and they are not going anywhere any time soon. >> that's it. >> it is going to be hot. that's the biggest weather story for sure. lots of water and sun screen keep it handy getting into all next week as well. going to see triple digits for most of the week for some of our hottest spots inland and especially for the east bay and south bay. so right notch we are seeing a little bit of cloud cover. and you can see the towers there are the golden gate bridge towers seeing the cloud cover coming in but this is all going to clear out right before noon time and open up to lots of sunshine and warm temperatures. most parts of the bay area already are seeing the sunshine. we started seeing that right

accused of sexual assault of one of his passengers. take a look at this video. his name is rudolph and he's 59 years old driving a marine kia ultima. police say he picked up the victim when she used the uber app to get a ride to her palo alto home. she called for an uber pool which allows you to share your ride with other passengers but asked her to sit in the front but he never picked up those other passengers. he canceled the rides with them and when they arrived at her home he locked the doors started touching the victim's leg and kissing her and asked her to come into her apartment with her and she refused when he let her go. he's a red wood city based driver and police are not releasing his photo because they are trying to find out if there are more victims out there. we do have a call out to uber for comment on this situation and investigation but we have not gotten a response from them

for your money this morning here's stories from the week that might impact your bottom line after years of double digit growth starbucks sales are slowing down. the coffee chain stocks sank about 4% based on that report. sales in the latest quarter grew more than 7% but didn't meet wall street expectations. the news comes roughly a week after starbucks is raising pay for employees by 5% and raising menu item prices by 10 to 30 cents. the e. coli out break at chipotle having a huge impact on profits dropping 82% compared to last summer. the out break started last july

athletes who do not meet requirements by their own sports governing body. learning more about the teenager who shot and killed nine people. the shooter planned the attack for a year. police say a mentally troubled man with two months in patient treatment last year. he extensively researched rampage killings and had no apparent links to isis. they had not officially named the killer but 18-year-old lived in the apartment that police searched. some bully had duel german and i rain yan nationallality had- -sonboly had and no references to any religion but among the things liss did find numerous documents on rampage killings. hundreds of people built a makeshift memorial at the site of the shootings. a lot of them were clearly emotional. >> so glad that my friends are

yesterday morning on kron4 news weekend 81 people are dead more than 260 people injured. isis claiming responsibility for sending two suicide bombers into that crowd. minority muslims were peacefully demonstrating to try and get government to provide more electricity in their communities. bringing it back here to the u.s. just over one week ago a berkeley father and daughter drowned off the coast of honolulu. maureen kelly talked to the woman who is grieving the loss of her husband and daughter. >> she says many people will miss her husband mark who she describes as deeply authentic, real, compassionate and shares pictures of her loved ones as he tends to his back yard beehive one of the many hobbies he did around the home. everything he did he went the extra mile to make it exceptional including being a father to his three children.

not be speaking or preside at the party convention this week. party officials reach that saturday after e-mails surface about the committee's i amablality during the primary over 20,000 e-mails and some staffers are discussing how to discredit vermont senator bernie sanders in favor of hilary clinton's presidential candidacy. party officials named ohio representative marsha fudge as the permanent chair of the convention. national news this morning police say that a college football player helped stop a man from assaulting a woman in florida. police say the sexual assault was caught on camera. the video has not been released but it does show according to police the man attacking a woman next to a dumpster. christian garcia linebacker at the university of florida was one of the people who pulled the man away from the woman. police went on to arrest the man on charges of sexual battery. they have reason to believe he may have assaulted other women

as well. driving in san francisco can be a hassle especially during the busy commute hours and it's a problem that can cost you money if you are behaving badly in a jammed intersection you might never see a fine coming. stanley roberts explains in this edition of people behaving badly. >> have you ever had a ticket show up in the mail and don't have a clue how you got it? that my friend is called a ticket on the fly and happens here at the corner of harrison in san francisco just about every commute evening. some people think signs that read do not block intersection or no right turn or no left turn are simply decorations around town so they ignore them so playing parking patrol officers on corners to try to cut down on gridlock. all they have to do is follow instructions and pay attention to the signs. >> i'll get you to behave badly. >> you just wait your turn to

get on the bay bridge. if you choose to go rogue and block the intersections like this traffic solutions truck there's a good chance you'll get a ticket on the fly. a ticket on the fly basically means the parking control officer will not chat with you he'll snap a photo and the u.s. postal service will take it from there. so as one driver turns illegally from the right another one turns illegally from the left all while playing gang sister party from tupac. this is more like a ticket party but i did i progress. the driver will be getting one of these letters in a few weeks but you have to wonder if being on his phone will cost him $103. you heard me right. yes it falls under the code for blocking an intersection. if there's an illegal turn that ticket is $110 but it's not a

driver is accused of sexually assaulting passenger and now he is behind barsch the driver's name is rodolf vjerdha59-year-old and drives a maroon on the ma. he picked up the victim when she used the uber app to get a ride home to her house in palo alto. she called for an uber pool which allows you to share your ride with other passengers. he asked her to sit in the front seat because he was picking up other passengers but he never picked up the other people. he canceled those rides with him when they arrive at her home, police say, he locked the doors and started to touch the victim's leg and kissing her. he asked her to come inside her apartment with her but she refused and that's when he finally let her go. i was able to talk to people around palo alto about this incident and they tell me they use the apps for the convenience but hearing about the incident is alarming. >> that would be absolutely terrifying and i haven't heard

application on his cell phone listing the san leandro victim's address. the two men expected to appear in court for arraignment tomorrow afternoon. thousands of walkers are in the bay area this weekend for a worthy cause the avon 39 walk to end breast cancer. and we caught up with the walkers in the park as they finished the first leg of the journey. hundreds of the survivors friends and family all began their walk in san francisco and made the way to the north bay. plenty of cheering sections along the way as well. the walk is raised over 4 million dollars for breast cans are research and support. >> this is my second avon 39 i defendant santa barbara and this year san francisco and this -- i did a santa barbara and this year san francisco and i am a survivor and to be here and be surrounded by all the people, trying to stop this horrible disease is amazing feeling. >> and later today the walkers will be finishing the final 13.1 miles with the celebration
