>> reporter:court documents show the 2 women and three men who were playing strip poker in the mayor's bedroom and were 18 or 19 years old. but one participant was a 16 year old boy. -also that at some point all the players in the game were naked. -and that beer and vodka were present at the camp on the last day of camp friday. parents were eager to reunite with the kids. >>:"very disturbing as a parent, you know, we pay for our kids to go and have a good time. >> reporter:the calls for silva's resignation are getting louder. >>:"in my opinion i think its time if the mayor really truly cares about the city of stockton and its citizens i think he should residnt immediately" >> reporter:the mayor also addressed the stolen gun from his home. that was used in the 2015 murder of 13 year old rayshawn harris.. saying he prays for the victims family. and he is cooperating with the investigation.

'i definitely lost all trust in him" that was kron four's justine waldman reporting. >> marty:silva did not indicate whether he plans to step down. he is seeking re-election in the fall. in bay area headlines. two new cases of the zika virus have been confirmed in san francisco. this brings the total count of infected san francisco residents to 10. we also learned this week that one of the two babies born with zika-related birth defects was delivered at alta bates summit medical center in berkeley. the health department says all of the patients in san francisco contracted the virus while they were traveling outside of the

country. officials say the zika virus is not circulating around the city. >> marty:new this morning. two people are dead after two separate shootings in the last 24 hours in hayward. the first one happened on thourp lane at around 12:00 yesterday afternoon. police found a man shot and killed in the garage. witnesses say a women was there during the shooting and lived in the home where the man was found. police say they were able to make contact with the woman and turned herself in after several hours of negotiating. police did not release the name of the victim or the woman that was arrested. at about 11:00 last night, police received a call of a shooting. there police found a man shot in a car on gading road. police performed c-p-r on the man but he later died from his injuries. police do not have any suspects in this case. >> marty:and the rio olympics are officially underway. some medals have already been handed out this morning. first, here is a look at pictures from the opening ceremony in rio last night. here are a look at some of the

>> marty:for your health: here is a look at some of the new medical findings released this week: health officials are warning of toxic algae that was found in the russian river. they say there are low levels of toxic blue-green algae in the water. but they caution those levels could rise. signs are now posted at all 10 public beaches along the river. warning people about the toxins. the algae can cause people to become sick, and it can be deadly for dogs. officials ask everyone to stay away from water with thick algae. and do not drink the water or use it for cooking.

crews have made some headway in containing the fire. cal fire says it is now 30- percent contained this morning. over 1000 firefighters are working on this fire. which is near lake berryessa p-g-and-e high voltage lines along highway 1-28 remain threatened. effect at the canyon creek estates in winters. the cause of this fire in still >> marty:and in monterey county. the soberanes fire is still growing this morning. the fire has burned over 55- thousand acres and it is now 40- percent contained. the fire started back on july 22nd near carmel and big sur. it was started by an illegal campfire. one person was killed fighting the fire. 57 homes have been destroyed, and two-thousand buildings are still threatened. over five thousand firefighters are working to control this fire. firefighters are also doing their best to save wildlife in the area.

earlier this week a firefighter came across this little bird near the fire line. they rescued the bird and took it to the s-p-c-a where wildlife experts say he is doing much better. in addition to the birds, the s- p-c-a is sheltering all kinds of animals. cats, dogs, chickens and donkey's are just some of the 180 animals that are making the shelter their temporary home. the s-p-c-a says donations are extremely helpful in these situations and anything helps. >> marty:right now. an army of firefighters is battling both of those wildfires burning across california. this morning we are looking into why this fire season may be more of a challenge for them. kron-4's spencer blake is in palo alto with the latest on the progress firefighters are making. >> reporter: scorch 54,000 a. and is an even 40 percent contained. the plot to fire department is about the brink, to construct and this week. so far the fed the strike teams deployed this year equaling the

headaches. west nile can also lead to symptoms such as vomiting, diareha and body aches and in very rare cases more serious complications can occur. but most people who develop either disease also recover completely. the biggest concern with zika virus is that pregnant women who fall ill could give birth to children suffering from microcephaly, a very serious type birth defect. the other similarity between zika and west nile is that both viruses are transmitted primarily through mosquito bites. but here in the bay area, our vector control agencies are more focused on stopping west nile virus because the type of mosquitoes.. like this one... that spread zika virus doesn't live in our region. sot all of the confirmed cases of zika virus in california are in people who had recently travelled to countries where the virus is endemic. at this point, there's no evidence that zika is spreading within the state but so far in 2016 10 people have contracted west nile in california and one person has died from the disease. health experts say that for now, west nile virus is the more dangerous disease. currently there are no vaccines for west nile or zika virus. in san mateo county ,charles

>> marty: now to the wildfires burning across california this morning. the cold fire in yolo county has scorched at least 47-hundred acres. crews have made some headway in containing the fire. cal fire says it is now 30- percent contained this morning. over 1000 firefighters are working on this fire. which is near lake berryessa p-g-and-e high voltage lines along highway 1-28 remain threatened. mandatory evacuations are in effect at the canyon creek campground and the golden bear estates in winters. the cause of this fire in still under investigation. they expect to have it under control by tuesday. and in monterey county. the soberanes fire is still growing this morning. the fire has burned over 55- thousand acres and it is now 40- percent contained. the fire started back on july 22nd near carmel and big sur. it was started by an illegal campfire. one person was killed fighting the fire.

57 homes have been destroyed, and two-thousand buildings are still threatened. over five thousand firefighters are working to control this fire. firefighters are also doing their best to save wildlife in the area. earlier this week a firefighter came across this little bird near the fire line. they rescued the bird and took it to the s-p-c-a where wildlife experts say he is doing much better. in addition to the birds, the s- p-c-a is sheltering all kinds of animals. >> reporter: let you heard at chrysler cirrus car if% if the soberanes fire you've heard so much about near big sur, has scorched 54-thousand acres, and isn't even 40 percent contained. "this year, because we did see precipitation over the wintertime, it took a little bit longer to really get into fire season because we saw some green grasses. but now we've got this huge grass crop - annual grass crop that's dried out." and the end might be late, too. cal fire estimates it will have 100 percent containment on the soberanes fireat the end of this month. the cold fire could be out by the middle of next week. if they're needed again, palo alto firefighters look forward to the chance to sharpen their skills alongside other deartments. has confirmed the first human west nile virus death in sacramento county. >> marty:55 people have been infected with the virus in contra costa county since 2005. kron 4's chuck clifford reports on what people in the bay area need to look out for. >> reporter:according to the cdc, zika virus and west nile virus infections share several similarities. first, most people who contract either disease never know it. but those who do fall ill often develop a rash, joint pain, or headaches. west nile can also lead to symptoms such as vomiting, diareha and body aches and in
