officer is seriously wounded after a shootout outside of a casino. it happened in atlantic city around one this morning. police say they stopped a car with three men inside of it near the parking garage of ceasars casino. that's when police say at least one of the men in the car began shooting. police are still looking for the other two suspects. they have closed off streets in the area. the officer's name has not been released. our top story this morning.the colin kaepernick story has taken another turn. santa clara police officers may boycott patrolling at levi's stadium if the 49ers don't discipline colin kaepernick. that is according to a letter sent by the santa clara police officers association to the 49ers and n-f-l commissioner roger goodell. kaepernick has refused to stand during the national anthem in protest of issues including racial injustice and police brutality. kron four's averi harper is live outside levi's stadium with the details of this statement. averi? >> averi: he has refused to stand at the national anthem.

vera.who is homeless. reportedly knocked on the family's door wednesday asking for food. while an adult family member went inside to look for something to give to vera, the little girl went outside. that's when police say vera picked the girl up and touched her inappropriately. she screamed, her family came running outside, and that's when vera ran off. santa rosa police announced last night that they arrested vera. happening now. police are looking for the man scene here kicking a dog at a park in san francisco. >> marty:kron four's ella sogomonian spoke to witnesses who tell us what led up to this attack. nats:punch >> :"he kept saying who attacked my dog, who attacked my dog but no one did. it was just play that got a little escalated." >> reporter:witnesses at duboce

"my dog was playing with otis and a couple of other dogs jumped in as they do for play. and the bassett was one of them. he may have been a little over excited. and the other dogs just kind of reacted to and they all separated." it was then she says the man

a man is behind bars after leading officers on a chase spanning over three cities in the north bay. here is a look at the man's car. the chase started just before midnight last night by stony point road and sebastopol road in santa rosa. the car went from santa rosa to rohnert park to sebastopol, then back into santa rosa. the driver eventually got out of his car and ran into an apartment complex on westberry drive. santa rosa police used a dog who bit the driver. he was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and then was booked into county jail coming up. the self described call girl at the center of multiple bay area sex scandals is behind bars this morning in florida. we have celeste guape's message to us from prison. plus. brock turner is out of prison after serving just three months of his six month sentence. a look at his future plans now that he is released. and for your health. more than a dozen antibacterial soaps and washes are being banned. the reason why is next on kron four.

stanford student brock turner is out of jail. he served three months of a six month sentence for sexual assault. >> marty:kron four was there when turner was released from the santa clara county jail friday morning. this case sparked national outrage due to the short sentence handed down by the judge. turner expected to head home to ohio. but not everyone there happy is about that. this is video of a protest outside his parents house yesterday. there were also protests here in the bay area. kron4's justine waldman reports on the public outcry since the sentencing and release of brock turner. nats >> : just after 6 friday morning. brock turner walked out of the santa clara county jail.

"sen. kevin de leon â los angeles simply put - he's unworthy of the robe he wears and the bench he sits on." persky has removed himself from criminal cases. but survivors of sexual assault want him out. they shared their stories, and their sympathy with the victim known as 'emily doe sofie karasek/activist: someone who had such a clear case, was failed by the system then what hope is there for the rest of us. in the united states of america laws against sexual violence mean nothing if the judges who enforce them are biased like judge persky. most survivors do not report to law enforcement and people like judge persky are the reason why.

gallery on fisherman's wharf. police have identifed cameron ybarra as the suspect. he was already in police custody for a separate incident. police say ybarra was able to enter the art gallery, and force open cabinets and lockers holding the ivory figurines inside. police say he stole more then 60 ivory figurines worth more than 210 thousand dollars. police have been unable to find the ivory figurines. >> marty:in bay area news. another 10-thousand dollar reward is being offered for information on the person who shot and killed three sea otters in northern california. the monterey bay aquarium, state department of fish and wildlife, and a private donor announced earlier this week that they're offering a 10-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest. and now the center for biological diversity is offering a reward as well. earlier this month, three southern sea otters were found dead in the area between santa cruz harbor and seacliff state beach. southern sea otters nearly went extinct and are currently protected under the endangered species act.
