>> vicki:big story tonight. the family of sandra bland has settled their wrongful death lawsuit. the family attorney is saying bland's family will receive one- point-nine-million dollars in compensation for bland's death. you may remember. bland is the woman who was arrested last year for allegedly assaulting an officer during a traffic stop in waller county, texas. three days later she was found dead in her jail cell and her death was ruled a suicide. bland's arrest gained national attention and caused public outrage. the trooper who arrested bland was fired after he was indicted for allegedly lying about the circumstances of bland's arrest. as well as several changes will also be made to waller county's jail procedures. the two people seen in the viral photo after overdosing on heroin in a car last week with a child in the backseat. have received their sentences. 50-year-old rhonda pasek who you can see in the passanger seat. has been sentenced to 180 days in jail after pleading no contest to child endangerment. her boyfriend 47-year-old james acord will serve 360 days in jail for child endangerment along with driving under the influence. the boy in the back seat is pasek's 4-year-old grandson. he is now staying with relatives in south carolina. pasek's attorney says she is embarrased by the attention the photos have gotten and just wants the case to be over with. in an odd twist to a decades old murder case. two 65-year-old cousins charged in the shooting deaths of two northern california girls. will not face the death penalty. that's because it was not an option when the girls were killed more than 40-years-ago. william lloyd harbour pleaded not guilty to murder at his arraignment on wednesday. his cousin. larry don patterson. is being held without bond in oklahoma where he was arrested.
