the marlins have also cancled todya's game against the braves. we are learning new information this morning on the suspected gunman responsible for the shopping mall massacre in washington state.

20-year-old arcan cetin has been arrested. police say cetin has a criminal record that includes domestic violence assault charges, and an arrest for drunken driving. police say he murdered five people when he entered a macy's store in burlington. which is about an hour north of seattle. on friday the city's mayor spoke about the tragedy. police found cetin while walking on a sidewalk in oak harbor last night. that's about 30 miles from the location of the shooting. cetin immigrated from turkey. but he is a legal resident of the u-s. he is expected to appear in court tomorrow. >> reporter:happening now. police are searching for three gunman who shot eight people, including a 3-year old girl and her father, in baltimore. these pictures are from the scene. police say three armed men converged on a group of people from different points. they also believe the shooting was premeditated and could be an act of retaliation for a labor day weekend shooting that left one person dead and two others injured. one of the people injured was a pregnant woman. >> reporter:police haven't given a reason why they believe the shootings are connected. they believe the victims could have recognized the shooters. >> reporter:another big story we are following this morning. after intense pressure from the public. charlotte, north carolina's police chief has finally released two videos of his officers shooting keith scott.

this is a still image from one of those videos. and we are also learning more about what happened right before the shooting. reporter andrew spencer explains. >> reporter:the dash cam video shows members of law enforcement taking cover behind a parked truck. they repeatedly shout, "drop the gun." listen and you can also hear keith scott's wife say, "he doesn't have a gun." >> :"drop the gun!" "he doesn't have a gun." answers." i'm andrew spencer, reporting. >> reporter:and back here in the bay area. protesters took to the streets of oakland to march in solidarity with demonstrators in charlotte this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news of the protest which started at 60th and broadway. protesters then made their way to downtown oakland. but police did block certain roads to make sure everything stayed peaceful. there are no reports of any damage or violence. three people were arrested. and a bay area mother who lost a loved one in a police shooting is speaking out now on holding officers accountable. her name is wanda johnson. her son was oscar grant. he was shot and killed by a bart police officer in 2009. and as kron 4's ella sogomonian reports, johnson is now an activist against police brutality who believes protests should continue in hope of a positive change. >> reporter:wanda johnson, oscar grant foundation ceo "african americans are looked at for the color of their skin but not whats in their heart and we really need to change that." wanda johnson lost her son oscar grant in 2009 when he was shot and killed by a bart police officer at the fruitvale station in oakland. that shooting was captured on video and is now one of several in the last seven years that has surfaced. images like these have stirred a debate about race and policing in america igniting protests across the country and here in the bay area as seen in our helicopter partnership with abc7 news. >> :"and i think it's important to not only protest but to come up with strategies where our society will see hey it's not back to business as usual."

a march will be held for a teen who has been missing since may from vallejo. pearl pinson went missing after police say 19 year old fernando castro kidnapped her while she was on her way to school. castro was killed by police after a shootout in southern california. pinson was not with him. the march is set for 4:45 this afternoon at the interstate 7-80 overpass where pinson was last seen. that's at taylor avenue in vallejo. marchers will then make their way to corinthians church of

god. and a community in the east bay is coming together to help the family of the little boy who was killed in a drunk driving accident earlier this month. the hop yard restaurant in san ramon is holding a fundraiser today. three-year-old elijah dunn died earlier this month when the car he and his mother and siblings were in was hit by a drunk driver while it was stalled on interstate 6-80 in san ramon. >> : leather resorted to another measure before they started to russian. >> reporter: weapon was an air soft on though very little realistic. in national news.

what's different about these calls is police are releasing a more comprehensive transcript of shooter omar mateen's conversations with hostage negotiators. >> rebecca:along with more calls from victims of the shooting. earlier, f-b-i transcripts deleted references to isis. this was done to avoid giving the group a propaganda platform. in those calls, mateen called himself an "islamic soldier." he also referenced one of the boston marathon bombers. the shooter said his attack was retaliation for a u-s airstrike in syria a few weeks earlier. here now, is one of those phone calls between a dispatcher and someone who was trapped inside the club. mateen was finally killed when police stormed the building more than three hours after the shooting began. >> reporter:coming up on the kron 4 morning news. it's coming down to the wire for the giants in the chase for one of the two wild card spots. the highlights coming up. live look outside. richmond

factors could mean more fires. sot firefighter it's a red flag warning for increased temperatures in low relative humidity and the winds. the big factor is the winds that we are expecting at the start of this evening. it's going to move around the trees a lot. it could knock powerlines down. the branches obviously off the trees can also cause damage to the vehicles the houses.

marin county's fire department is prepared. sot firefighter what we're doing is we've upped staffing, we have extra engine stuff, we have a fire crew staff, a bulldozer and an extra personnel in our dispatch center to help jump on things quick and get them before they do get out of control. other fire departments around the state will also have additional staff and equipment. fire experts are asking the public to avoid activities that could spark a fire. sot what we are telling people to do is to make sure they're not gonna if they're out in the wildlands that they be fire cautious and if they're mowing grass adn doing things like that that they do it early in the morning not during the heat of the day. fires aren't new to residents in this area. sot resident we see them frequently we smell the smokes from other fires. ive had friends who have lost homes to fire. i know people up in lake county who have lost their homes to fires so its definitely in our psyche. residents say they're prepared. i have a big file box and it has my deeds my passports and everything in it thats important that can be whisked out of the house really quickly. i have a friend who has a house about 5 miles frmo here and we have an exchange. so if theres a disaster at her house, she and her group comes here. if there's a disaster at my house people in my house all go there standup the red flag warning for marin county goes into effect in less than an hour at 9 tonight -- and goes through sunday afternoon. in woodacre, ha, k4 news. >> reporter:police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed someone on a highway in truckee. it happened at around 4-pm yesterday on westbound interstate 80 at the nevada state line. c-h-p officers say three motorcyclists rode up to the victim and fired gunshots before taking off. the victim was also riding a motorcycle and they died at the scene. officers say the victim was associated with local motorcycle clubs. westbound lanes of the interstate were closed at the nevada state line, causing traffic to back up for miles. >> reporter:the chinese community in the bay area is mourning the loss of civic leader and activist rose pak. she was laid to rest yesterday. kron 4's jeff pierce was at her services yesterday. where people

say her influence expanded well beyond san francisco. hundreds of san franciscans gathered at old saint mary's cathedral to attend the funeral of chinatown activist rose pak on saturday. politicians who both sparred and collaborated with her came to pay their respects and remember her contributions to the city. >> :more than chinatown, more than the chinese community and remember she supported african american mayor willie brown and jewish americans like me. but always in her heart she wanted to reverse over a hundred years of discrimination and isolation of the chinese american community. rose stood up for those who didn't have a folks who have come to this country to find a stake and are looking for the american dream. she somehow adapted san francisco as the place she would make her contribution and on behalf of lots and lots of people of every color of every gender every age of every political persuasion and she did so in the most unselfish

>> reporter:happening today. a march will be held for a teen who has been missing since may from vallejo. pearl pinson went missing after police say 19 year old fernando castro kidnapped her while she was on her way to school. castro was killed by police after a shootout in southern california. pinson was not with him. the march is set for 4:45 this afternoon at the interstate 7-80 overpass where pinson was last seen. that's at taylor avenue in vallejo. marchers will then make their way to corinthians church of god. and a community in the east bay is coming together to help the family of the little boy who was killed in a drunk driving accident earlier this month. the hop yard restaurant in san ramon is holding a fundraiser today. three-year-old elijah dunn died earlier this month when the car he and his mother and siblings were in was hit by a drunk driver while it was stalled on interstate 6-80 in san ramon. dunn's mother, crystal manoiki, is still in the hospital with severe injuries. 20 percent of the hop yard's sales today will go towards helping out the family. another big story we are following this morning. after a six hour standoff, san francisco police were able to disarm a man who threatened to take his own life and hurt other people. kron 4's alecia reid tells us how police de-escalated the situation. >> reporter: a two block radius of the civic center in an area secured. 12:00 police say the gunman called police headquarters saying he was under the automatic handgun and it was dangerous. hit on number

f-b-i officials are now releasing more 9-1-1 calls from the orlando nightclub shooting. 49 people lost their lives in that massacre. rebecca strom what makes these new calls different from the one's the f-b-i had previously released? >> rebecca:what's different about these calls is police are releasing a more comprehensive transcript of shooter omar mateen's conversations with hostage negotiators. along with more calls from victims of the shooting. earlier, f-b-i transcripts deleted references to isis. this was done to avoid giving the group a propaganda platform. in those calls, mateen called himself an "islamic soldier." he also referenced one of the boston marathon bombers. the shooter said his attack was retaliation for a u-s airstrike in syria a few weeks earlier. here now, is one of those phone calls between a dispatcher and someone who was trapped inside the club. mateen was finally killed when police stormed the building more than three hours after the shooting began. coming up on the kron 4 morning news. it's coming down to the wire for the giants in the chase for one of the two wild card spots.

we are learning new information this morning on the suspected gunman responsible for the shopping mall massacre in washington state. 20-year-old arcan cetin has been arrested. police say cetin has a criminal record that includes domestic violence assault charges, and an arrest for drunken driving. police say he murdered five people when he entered a macy's store in burlington. which is about an hour north of seattle. on friday the city's mayor spoke about the tragedy. police found cetin while walking on a sidewalk in oak harbor last night. that's about 30 miles from the location of the shooting. cetin immigrated from turkey.

in woodacre, ha, k4 news. police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed someone on a highway in truckee. it happened at around 4-pm yesterday on westbound interstate 80 at the nevada state line. c-h-p officers say three motorcyclists rode up to the victim and fired gunshots before taking off. the victim was also riding a motorcycle and they died at the scene. officers say the victim was associated with local motorcycle clubs. westbound lanes of the interstate were closed at the nevada state line, causing traffic to back up for miles. the chinese community in the bay area is mourning the loss of civic leader and activist rose pak.
