the woman was not injured and the robbers were described as two men between 20 and 25 years old in the east bay police are looking for to interrupt a 16- year-old girl in her driveway. it happened as the girl into the driveway of her home in brentwood. as she got out, two armed men came up to her and told not to one reached inside her car and stole her purse, then they ran away. the girl was not injured, robbers are only described as two men wearing gray hoodies and dark-colored pants at the time. another big story this morning, the second police officer in the six scandal involving several bay area police apartment had his day in court if the story broke several months ago and we're now starting to see the fallout. so far a total of five officers are charged. kron reports a wife the young person at the center of the case has attorneys who are upset with the judge's decision.>> reporter: joslin was 17 years old when she had

after the shooting. some civic leaders in el cajon are calling this a policing problem.not a racial issue. break it down for grant combined both shooting videos to one as of now the d-a's office is deciding whether to file charges against the officer who shot olango. tempers flared in southern california after a call for police help, ended with a death of yet another black man this week. this time the man was killed after he was tazed not once, but twice by pasadena police. it all started at about two- friday morning at an apartment complex. the girlfriend of 36-year- old reginald thomas says he was acting dysfunctional. she says thomas was in distress clutching a fire extinguisher and a knife. thomas then called police for help. his girlfriend couldn't believe what happened when police arrived. officers say thomas ignored their commands and tried to go inside a neighbors apartment. that's when the officers tazed thomas. then a fight broke out that ended with thomas' death. after the fight, officers say they found two taser cartridges had been fired. but don't know if the second one actually hit thomas. the coroners office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

the giants fan who was left with a severe brain injury after being attacked by dodgers fans spoke in daly city. brian stow was attacked in the dodger stadium parking lot back in 20-11. he suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of the beating. yesterday, stow spoke with children at westlake elementary school about putting an end to bullying and fan violence. the kids listened intently as he described his 9- months in a coma, years in the hospital and struggle to get out of a wheelchair. while stow will likely always need help taking care of himself, but he says he is not given up. stow gave anti -bullying presentations 41-times at schools and juvenile detention centers in 20-15. this is his 8th event this year and he plans to keep going. stow says he is ready to deliver his message across the country. happening today in the south bay. a new smoking law goes into effect in sunnyvale. the new law prohibits smoking in all outdoor areas where people eat and drink. you can no longer smoke within 25 feet of the doors and windows of buildings, or service areas like bus stops. >> reporter: tells gruesome and they were on display at marin county courthouse that a week- long pulmonary hearing wrapped in the judge made her decision in this case. almost a year ago today when canadian tourists travel the sampras's data taken the bluegrass festival. these are pictures from earlier court appearance.
