the east bay. and now police are asking who sent a woman to the hospital. >> reporter:kron four's terisa estacio has the details for us-- includng how the woman's friend came to her rescue. a fremont woman is >> reporter:a freemont woman is recovering after she was attacked and robbed outside her home. she was getting out of her car. in front of her home on curtis drive. in fremont's irvington district. this was about 1:40 monday morning. >> they took computers and a purse some credit cards... >> reporter: they did not waste any time. they got to using those credit cards. >> yes. we saw that the cars

(crying) (crying) >> mark:this entire vegas situation is not even finalized yet, but davis sounds pretty set on moving on. at today's nfl meetings, he gave an update to his fellow owners on the progress of the relocation plan. afterwards, he was asked about the city of oakland's efforts to keep the team from leaving. >> mark:and said quote-- 'oakland was in the driver's seat if they could've put together anything. they came up with nothing. >> mark:these comments come just days after vegas and the raiders took another step in securing a future together.as the governor approved 750-million dollars of public funds for a new stadium. in addition to that comment-- davis.opened up a little more in an interview with usa today sports. this is about the city's role during the raiders to la negotiations.

>> mark:he said quote -- oakland at that time had the opportunity - they were really negotiating against themselves, and they really didn't want to do anything. they gave a five-page letter as their offer to the nfl, and we ended up losing the vote to go , and they sent us back to get something done. we got a one-year lease with two one-year options, and i had a press conference and talked then about moving into the future. a week later, i got a call from one of the board of supervisors, said, 'mark, sorry, but the deal that negotiated with you is off. we've got to raise the rent and we're raising it three times.' end quote >> mark:davis took that as disrespect to the raider organization. and went on to explore other options. here he is on how the nevada plan came to be. return to >> when i met with the governor. but the very first time. he said was i using this as leverage to get a better deal. i said no. >> at a about a week before he called the conference

>> reporter:the couple's lawyer say the second degree burns on his hand. the lawsuit lists more than other eariler models of samsung cell phones and product safety commission from other consumers who have complained of overheating phones that have burned them, catching fire or even exploding. >> reporter: back to 2011. in addition to damages for their clients.the attorneys filing this suit believe the recall should be widened. >>a recall of the 7 doesn't go far enough someone needs to look at these prior phones, someone needs to ensure the consuming public that the phones that aren't 7's that are still out there do not what-- present a danger to consumers.

steve tonight at 6pm! >> justine: 11a new discovery tonight. the most dangerous earthquake fault in the bay area. is actually connected to another fault. and together they could produce a major earthquake. this is accroding to a new study from the u-s geological survey. >> justine:a team discovered the unknown strand of the hayward fault today and found that it connects to a less active fault to the north. scientists say if the hayward and neighboring rodgers creek faults broke simultaneously. they could produce a magnitude 7- point-4 quake. >> justine:this new discovery comes a great california shake out. it is a statewide earthquake drill where everyone in the golden state, will drop, cover and hold on. this drill is to show people what to do when a massive earthquake hits.
