morning from the east bay multiple people are injured follow a shooting in oakland. it happened at 11:45 pm at the corner of 70.7 -- 77th and bancroft. several people in the hospital and notified on arrest. no officers were injured during the shooting. fraternity members partying as usual this weekend at uc berkeley despite a self-imposed ban after a reported 61 sexual assaults in berkeley over the past six months several of them occurring on campus. >> uc berkeley fraternity council put a self-imposed ban on a social gathering this week. respect they had a party bad? wow i didn't even notice because last night i was going to one. >> the response to sue two

bit around concorde in the north bay along the coast. we go out further and it continues as you can see . we haven't had any statements on this and its lingering for a good period of time this goes out to monday. as it passes over the wind rushes right through that is one feature of our forecast. the rain let's look at that. monday at 1:46 pm there we see rain showers basically to the north bay spurting out overnight and taking us to tuesday morning lingering around giving it a heavy amount of rain in this event but there is more upstream to watch for. middle of the week it a breeder and the dc it redeveloping thursday afternoon and evening overnight carrying us into friday. but this pattern may potentially drift until next weekend and that is something we will continue to watch as it develops.

remains under investigation this morning. cleanup efforts are underway after a massive water main break caused a huge mess in oakland. a broken pipe has been picked -- fixed and service restored but there is still a lot of work to be done. >> the streets looked much dryer today after cleanup crews spent hours at the site but less than 24 hours earlier it looked like this. water gushing down montana street and diamond avenue partially submerging cars and causing a sinkhole. it also got into people's basements. >> thousands of dollars of damaged materials as we were making a bedroom rumpus room for my son. >> and they basically made a pile of and south unsalvageable, salvageable and i guess we're going to get reimbursed for the unsalvageable. >> they are now replaced a portion of the 16 inch water main broke for some residents this is the second break in less than two years and they say

the big story that the following fee this morning, a freak accident killed 877-year- old man from marin county. is identified by -- as david lombard. he was hit by a eucalyptus tree branch as he was entering his garden. he died while emergency crews were trying to free him from underneath the branch. sheriff's officials continue to investigate this deadly accident. >> a family in pittsburgh is waiting for answers after they were told their daughter died suddenly. she was sitting on a naval ship bound for tokyo. we spoke with the grieving parents who said a death does not take any sense. >> derrick luckey his loan is ringed with flags put there by a neighbor to honor his daughter member of the us navy who died suddenly on a ship bound for tokyo. >> on september 7 we took daniel to the airport about the last time we saw her.

the sophisticated attack on friday involved tens of millions of ip addresses and enslaved ordinary electronic household devices like dvr's and with costs. internet service will flooded with billions of fake requests for information. the chief security officer said the volume and consistency of friday's attacks are unprecedented. according to experts at least 77 websites were affected. as much as $110 million in revenue and sales may have been lost on friday. the fbi is now involved in the investigation. >> at no point has anyone taken responsibility for the and the fbi has not said who they believe is behind the attack. >> happening right now police are looking for the person connected to triple shooting that happened near sebastopol. the highway 116 police say it was all because of the highway -- marijuana deal.

a mother in nevada is demanding justice after she said that the school administrator body slammed her daughter to the ground. the violent takedown was caught on camera . the video shows an argument between two students before the administrator broke up the fight by throwing one of the students to the ground now the police are involved police said a 13-year-old suffered a sprained shoulder sprained back and a concussion from the altercation. the mother said the school administrator did more harm

monday morning and afternoon showers developing for most and there is a break in the action next week we are talking thursday or friday the rain returns. and then it's a possibility of lingering into next weekend. san francisco 65, and 72 san jose a little warm in the south bay. the next eight hours we declare this out a little bit and will probably see some clout in our forecast to 70s in the inland valleys that 60s pretty much elsewhere. a closer inspection to the rain later. breaking news out of the east bay, seven people were injured after shooting in oakland it happened at 11:45 pm last night on the corner of 77th and bancroft avenue's multiple people in hospital this morning and police have not yet said how many. and in the words of any arrest. no officers were injured during

san jose. take a look at surveillance video of this home . on the video you see that when working with a stick to a home trying to reach a package behind the gate. she failed to get the package so a man went up to the fence and successfully took one of the packages. san jose police would like you to contact them if you recognize either of the suspects. police are dealing with a similar problem in the north bay looking for a thief stealing packages in the middle of the night in santa rosa. one victim sent us this video a person comes out of the shadows from behind a white, and within seconds is running back to a waiting vehicle with those packages. the victim is a new homeowner and in her note to come on she writes i am so upset they would be good to expose these people. another big story is at&t reaching an agreement to buy time one to buy time 14 $85.5 billion. if approved by the government

let's take a look at some of the stories from the week that might impact the bottom line. if you have not yet booked your flight for thanksgiving you might be losing money according to the travel site raimondo each day that you wait could add another two dollars to the ticket of the flight and if you wait until halloween it could go up five dollars per day for an airline reservation. the site says the cheapest round-trip ticket is to leave on thanksgiving and return the next day. that trip they say will cost you an average of $400.

officials say no one was injured. officials were able to control the fire within about an hour and it is an investigation this morning. cleanup efforts remain underway after a massive water main break caused a huge mess in oakland. the broken pipe has been fixed in the water service restored but as we explained there are still a lot of work to be done. >> reporter: the street looked drier today of the kingdom crews spent hours at the site but less than 24 hours earlier it looks like this. water gushing down montana street and diamond avenue partially submerging cars and causing a sinkhole. it also got into people's basements. >> $1000 of damaged material as were making a bedroom and rumpus room for my son. >> and they make a pile of unsalvageable and salvageable and i'm guessing we will be reimbursed for the reimbursable

looking for a package the in san jose. this surveillance video of a home in san jose. on the video you see a woman walking up to the home of the stick the stick is to try to reach the package. she failed to get the package is so a man comes up to the fence and successfully took away one of the packages. san jose police want you to contact them if you recognize any of those suspects. >> police are also dealing with a similar problem in the north bay looking for a thief stealing packages in the middle of the night in santa rosa. one victim sent us this video. a person comes out of the shadows from behind a white, within seconds is seen running back to a waiting vehicle with those packages. the victim is a new homeowner in santa rosa. in her note to us she writes i am so upset it would be good to expose these people. big news to share this morning at&t has reached a huge agreement to buy time warner 485.5 alien dollars. if approved by the government
