kron4news >> grant:thank you, dan! >> grant:one person is dead--- following a plane crash in concord. the plane went down around 12:30 this afternoon. near kirker pass road. officials say that the plane may have clipped power lines before crashing. confirmed dead. >> grant:it is not yet clear if that person was the pilot.. or if there was anyone else on board. the f-a-a and the national transportation safety board are investigating the cause of the crash. >> vicki:police are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened overnight in san jose. it happened on the 400 block of wooster avenue. it started with the report of a stolen vehicle. three officers spotted the car and followed it into a culdesac. >> vicki:the driver then tried to ram one of the officers multiple times. that officer escaped with minor injuries but only after two other officers shot at the suspect. the suspect drove away and police were able to find his car a short distance away.

that suspect is now on the run. >> vicki:san jose police were able to use body cam footage to happened. >>"it helped us really uh set the stage.and they are going to be extremely useful in the future." >> vicki:police say the suspect is a hispanic man in his 20s. all three officers have been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues. officials with the san jose police department say they do not plan to release the body cam footage. san francisco police have identified the 2 officers who shot and killed a man earlier this month in the sunset district. >> vicki:police say officer nathan chew and officer paul dominguez shot nicholas mcwherter after he opened fire on police. the shooting took place following a disturbance at a big 5 sporting goods store on sloat blvd. >> grant:officers allege that mcwherter is mentally disturbed. during the shoot out- the mcwherter shot another officer- kevin downs- in the head. the injury has left him partially paralyzed. >> grant:officer nathan chew was also one of four officers involved in the controversial 2014 police shooting of alex nieto in bernal heights park. nieto- who worked as a nightclub security guard -
