former new york mayor rudy giuliani one of dozens of advisers meeting with donald trump today. just three days after his victory at the polls, the president=elect is deciding who will run and he made his first staff shakeup. chris christie is out as head of the transition team. vice president elect mike pence is in. the new jersey governor was bumped down to vice chairman of an executive committee than includes former house speaker newt gingrich, retired neurosurgeon ben carson, lieutenant gen. michael flynn, former new york mayor rudolph giuliani and alabama senator jeff sessions. c=n=n sources say the shakeup follows infighting over whether to hire the so=called "never trumpers" who opposed him during the campaign. adding to the palace intrigue, the possibility of a republican revolt in congress. washington based professor allan lichtman has correctly predicted every election since 1984, and was confident of a trump victory

'dropped' a civil lawsuit filed against him. a woman known only as "katie johnson" dropped a lawsuit on friday.and cancelled a news conference. the daily mail is reporting that johnson's story was fabricated. in florida -- the orange county sheriff's office has released body camera video from the tragic pulse nightclub shooting in june. it's been heavily edited so no bodies are seen. but it shows officers searching through bloody rooms and hallways. the cell phones of victims can be heard ringing. and the disco lights were still spinning. officers wear latex gloves to protect against splattered blood. at this point - they haven't found the gunman. omar mateen shot and killed 49 people inside the club that

one day after the election.a redding high school student handed out fake deportation letters on campus. one mother is speaking out after she says her daughter was targeted by this incident and other racial remarks-- from our partners at c-n-n. christina davies has the story. the shasta high school unified school district superintendent says the school will not tolerate this behavior. however, it was not clear what actions -- if any -- were taken to discipline the student.

now there is a move to block proposition 66 implementation. tonight we will explain why. will have that story and much more on kron 4 news at six. steve now back to you. an angry father in texas says his daughter's i-phone overheated in her pocket and burned her. he says she felt it overheating, tried to yank the iphone-6-plus out of her pocket and it was too hot to hold. randy veazey says she threw it on the ground and smoke began pouring out of it. he's upset that it happened.and says the situation could have easily become much more serious. the family brought the phone back to an apple store and employees took pictures. they say they're looking into it. there have been similar incidents. last month a new jersey college student's 6-plus phone exploded in his back pocket. and federal regulators recalled a million samsung galaxy note sevens after reports that

they were catching fire. kidde united technologies is recalling more than 5 million smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. the company made the announcement today saying alarms that are seven years old can fail to chirp. the recall is effecting products in the united states and canada that were manufactured between june of 2004 and december of 2010. kidde says consumers should stop using the alarms and contact the company for a free replacment. the san francisco home that was the setting for the popular 1993 movie--- "mrs. doubtfire", starring robin williams, is no longer on the market. it has sold for 4-point-1 million dollars this week. after being listed in september for 4-point-4 million dollars.

rallies showing against president-elect donald trump continued in the bay area this afternoon, and at least one of themwas made up of mostly teenagers. kron four's spencer blake is live in san francisco where one group already had their demonstration, and left. spencer, we've seen a lot happen in the past few days. what was the mood like there? calm and peaceful. about 50 high schoolers were on the steps of city hall for an hour or so earlier today. short march from mission and 24th several speeches police lined up, but didn't have to take any action. spoke with an organizer. "this is completely youth-led. this isn't through an organization or coalition or any kind of collaboration. this is just something that the youth wanted to do to have their voice be heard - non-violently, of course - but also to push that whatever legislation donald trump wants to push, or any kind of executive orders, that we're gonna push back."

three people are now dead. victims of what appears to be a triple homicide that is according to police investigators. the incident has shaken up residents in a quiet east oakland neighborhood. kron 4's haaziq madyun shows you where the crime took place >>:"i saw an ambulance that is when i was like whoa! what's going on? "murder in oakland is what's kind of goes on" "as long as i have lived here i have never seen anything like this before" >> reporter: a triple homicide has put the residents in this quiet east oakland neighborhood on dunbar drive on edge. "about 20 minutes after midnight oakland police responded to investigate some kind of disturbance, officers arrive on the scene and we are now investigating the homicide of 3 people" all three adult victims, one male, two females were suffered gun shots and stab wounds. a close neighbor who asked not to reveal his identity says he hopes the bloodshed is not related to the recent presidential election "they were an lgbt family and with this whole trump thing going on, i just really hope that this wasn't a hate crime" the f-b-i is lending their expertise in processing the crime scene. a woman is being held for questioning in

connection to this case. oakland police say they also found evidence of a structure fire. it is not clear at this time what connection the fire has to the three people killed here.in oakland haaziq madyun kron4news 26 people became ill and two were hospitalized after a hazmat incident in san francisco this morning it happened around 8 a-m at recycle central on pier 96. authorities say people working near one of the convayer belts began feeling sick from some chemicals passing through. the building was evacuated for a short time as fire crews investigated. officials say the chemical was non-life threatening.but people do need to be careful what they put in the recycling. if you do have hazardous waste there are different locations

service members have made and said thanks. president barack obama: "on veterans day, we acknowledge humbly that we can never serve our veterans in quite the same way that they served us, but we can try," it is still a tragedy that 20 veterans a day take their own lives. we have to get them the help they need. we have to keep solving problems like long wait times at the va. the president has had to make to numerous military decisions while in office. from the withdrawal of troops in iraq, to a surge in afghanistan and the war against isis. in the south bay. veterans day is being observed against a backdrop of an effort to end homelessness among veterans. kron four's rob fladeboe has the story of one vet who showed off the keys to his new apartment while another homeless vet is hoping he's next. 74 year old gunther ehlers is a vietnam era veteran. but the difference between ehlers and the thousands of other vets who turned out for the annual veterans day parade here is that ehlers is homeless. sot gunther ehlers/homeless veteran ehlers is living in a shelter now, but looking for help from 'all the way home,' a collaborative effort between the city, county and housing authority, which announced it has so far helped nick jaramillo and 509 other homeless veterans find permanent housing. sot nick jaramillo/ex homeless veteran sot dave corteze/county
