[take pkg]çááápkgáááñ there was a red light but the the there was no stop sign like stop on red. i had a chance to talk to some of the drivers who were caught in the fremont police department crackdown on red light runners . it's part of the city's vision zero 20 20 campaign the goal of vision zero is to significantly reduce fatalities and severe injuries by 2020but based on some of the conversations, it's going to be an uphill battle is it called a red light or a yield sign red light (red light) so therefore you have to do what you have to stop and you did i didn't stop. what about the driver who was ran the light to get to her childs school so you didn't stop for the red light back there what happened i was telling him that im in a rush so that red light was more of an inconvenience

remember the driver that not only ran the red but started driving while the officer was trying to talk to her i'm telling you stop your good your very good right here ok the reason why i'm pulling you over is because you didn't stop at the red light you came right through you should have stopped but you didn't did you not see the red light sorry i just to see the yellow light and remember the one that had no idea what she was supposed to do at a red light you do have to make a complete stop yes and treat it like a stop sign even though you're making a turn unless there is sign that says no turn on red well she knew she didn't want to do with the camera hello, hi im with channel 4 how you doing how you doing today im here to find out so you ran that red light what happened back there i really don't want to be on tv there was another violation where drivers were using a dedicated turn lane blocking trafficany you both were kind of blaocing the roadway there for cars that wanted to go the proper direction so you know why you're stopped here i kinda guess he expalind it to me i'm not quite really sure yet im going to go back and look the next time i come out here see what i did why am i taking to you the officer siad that we used the 880 sought lane and we should not used so you didn't see all the signs i didn't notice the signs they were issued tickets for ignoring regulatory signs the other drivers were issued tickets for the red light violation and the fine including court fees . are you ready for this 469 dollars and 50 cents in fremont stanley roberts kron 4 news
