the bay area -- are gearing up ahead of this weekend's powerful storm. which is expected to bring intense rain, chances of flooding and more snow in the sierra. >> vicki:kron four meteorologist brittney shipp is tracking this storm for us tonight in the weather center. brit, what can you tell us? >> brittney: we have cooler air that is moving into read on sure use all the difference today from yesterday. tomorrow, you will still see cooler temperatures. one think we are watching for is based news system that will come in for the weekend. all we are down four degrees in fairfield and san jose huh along with letterman livermore. --along with livermore. >> brittney: 49 degrees in concord, 47 degrees in san jose and 44 in livermore.

>> brittney: heavy rain showers will get here by saturday. >> brittney: we are under the freeze warning until tomorrow morning. so a lot of our locations will drive down into the low 20s. we are looking at a lot of rain showers that will start saturday morning. as no fault in the higher elevations of the sierra. if you want to be careful traveling. you should go tomorrow what is nice and dry because once the system starts it will be very difficult to get there. take a look at how heavy the rainfall is far from 3:00 a.m. on sunday. we are tracking or from 3 to 5 in. off or rainfall. i will time out the rest of the system and inform you of what you'd expect coming up. >> vicki:thanks, brittney!

string of other offenses. >> vicki:catherine heenan is here to show us what police revealed today. >> catherine:here are the four suspects. police say all of them have admitted their roles in the attack. investigators say the victim's ordeal began on the last day of the year. >>our victim in this case was dropped off by his parents at a mcdonalds in streamwood, illinois. >> catherine:the unidentified 18=year=old lived in crystal lake, about an hour's drive northwest of chicago. he was going to spend new year's eve with former schoolmate jordan hill. >>he's at the mcdonalds and jordan hill goes and steals a van in streamwood. he then picks up our victim who has no knowledge the van is stolen. they drive to the west wide of chicago. >> catherine:for the next two days jordan and the victim visited various locations. on tuesday morning they arrived at the home of two sisters, >>several hours later, that's when they bind him and start assaulting him. >> catherine:the video shows him being punched and kicked , forced to drink toilet water and at one point sliced in his scalp with a
