bridge cameras. as you can see all the roads on all the bridges are wet and slippery. and driving condtions are difficult. so be extra careful on the roads. we have team coverage across the bay area to help you get through the powerful storm. we have kron four's will tran in east bay. and kron four's terisa estacio is in the north bay. and we also have kron four meteorologists anny hong and dave spahr, who are both tracking the storm from the weather center. let's start with you anny. how much rain can we expect to see today. >> reporter: urges yellow's more moderate. fall everybody is getting a dose of this weather. he was happening now as we're seeing some pretty good cells coming through san francisco over the bridge and into these davis's where we're seeing the largest amount including lafayette in oakland. holes of walnut creek and office in line for san ramon dr. heyward union city is right now that all change for you tomorrow morning. and in the south bay widespread what rate across the south bay stanford redwood city also pacifica sambar note. and you

westbound if you even drive the close to the speech didn't let me just say you're being foolish so much puddling on the roadway just coming here from fremont and it wasn't ready to bed and i left my house at around 530 in the morning. as you drive north particularly in my case and you will run into the heavy cells you can see all the water kickups we are being hit with a one-two punch in the there was a strong constant wind to aerobatics. you can see there are plenty of space between the cars even if you draft a little bit yet time to correct yourself the pick up as far as the gusty conditions. just take it easy right now it is coming down here in east bay.

she later died from her injuries. no one else was injured in what firefighters are calling a freak accident. and if you are in sonoma county, there is a flash flood advisor that will be in effect until 11:28 this morning. and there is a flash flood watch throughout the entire bay area this morning. it will remain in effect until this evening. happening now.the impact of all of the rain we have received is causing napa county flood control to close its flood gates for the frst time this season. take a look at this video. the napa county flood manager says the gates will prevent rising water from heading downstream. workers at riverpointe napa valley picked up wine country cottages and moved them away from the resort by the river. by saturday afternoon, 35 buildings were taken to higher ground. the gates will be closed sometime between 8 and 9 this morning. welcome back to kron four news weekend.

>> marty:welcome back to kron four news weekend. take a look at this video on your screen. a winter storm dumped tons of snow along the eastern seaboard. this is video from providence, rhode island. the city has over a hundred trucks out on the roads in order to clean up the wintery conditions on the streets, and if you live in an area that is prone to heavy rain or flooding, thee are a number of places around the bay area where you can get sandbags. in the north bay. ou can find sandbags at the san rafael yard on lincoln avenue. grant corporation yard on chestnut road in redwood city is also offering sandbags. if you are in the east bay. you can pick up some up at the municipal service center on edgewater drive in oakland. and in the south bay. check out city central service yard on center road in san jose. for the full list of locations offering sandbags. go to kron4- dot-com. and if you are in sonoma county, there is a flash flood advisor that will be in effect until 11:28 this morning. and there is a flash flood watch throughout the entire bay area this morning. it will remain in effect until this evening. welcome back to kron four news weekend. here's a look at storm tracker four. wet weather continues to slam all across the board. as the storm is hitting the bay area. president obama will give his farewell adress to the nation tuesday night. >> marty:and thousands of people braved the winter cold to get free tickets. despite freezing chicago temperatures, people stood in line for hours. all in hopes of receving a free tickets to the farewell adress. tickets were given out 8:00 in the morning saturday. this on a first come, first serve basis. despite the chaos, many say it was worth the wait.
