sunday. there's at least some relief since the truckee river was expected to go well over 20 feet. >> catherine:tonight authorities are reminding people that simply because the river has crested -- things are 'not' back to normal. and crews have been busy using bulldozers to pluck trees and debris from the raging waters. >> catherine:all westbound lanes of i-80 near donner lake have reopened. the c-h-p had closed down the lanes for a few hours this morning after a large mudslide. >> catherine:the c-h-p in truckee released these photos. chain control is in effect for i-80 near donner pass. >> grant:one person died this morning after a car went off the road and into a novato creek. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc-7 news. >> grant:first respoinders found the victim in the car on novato boulevard near the border of marin and sonoma counties. the car had gone over an embankment and into the creek. the driver was the only person inside the car at the time of the accident. the victim's identidy has not been released.

>> grant:and tonight a man who died after crashing his car into the water near oakland international airport has been identified. 57-year-old jar-nail singh of san leandro. lost control of his car around 8 a-m on sunday. >> grant:his car plunged into the water near langley street and dolittle drive. emergency crews intially found singh alive. he was taken to highland hospital where he later died. >> catherine:a san ramon woman who died when a tree fell on her has now been identified. 56-year-old deborah mckeown was walking through the canyon lakes golf course on saturday when a tree fell and hit her. >> catherine:police arrived on the scene just before 11 a-m and she was taken to san ramon regional medical center. she died a short time later. >> catherine:no one else was injured. the san ramon valley fire department is blaming the accident on the stormy weather and heavy rains. >> grant:deputies and good

samaritans rescued a girl who was trapped in a car.submerged under water. officials say the car was upside down in a creek after a crash near auburn yesterday.that's just east of sacramento. >> grant:a woman came out running from the car and yelling that her child was still in it. >> grant:deputies and some other drivers got into the water.and managed to pull out the 12-year-old girl.who was initially unresponsive. >> grant:but she later regained consciousness and was giventhere's no word yet on her current condition. sunday / placer co. sheriff's office >> catherine: still concerned about more flooding. >> brittney: wind speed will pick up tonight and into

you were planning to visit yosemite you are in luck. the park will reopen tomorrow and it will be (the day starting at 8:00 a.m.. yosemite valley from ill porto world was close off this morning because of a rock fall. park officials recommend that visitors plan ahead because there will be limited services and overnight accommodations and businesses are scheduled to reopen wednesday. the cramped--the campgrounds in yosemite valley will reopen tomorrow night. voice of
