the health department has reached out to nearly 300 people who may have had contact with philips. at least a dozen are now on antibiodics as a precautiouary measure. the marin county public health deparmentissued a statement saying they do not believe the cases are connected. robson had recently had shoulder surgery at sf general - her brother says she was not feeling well when he recently saw her. he says now, he and his other siblings are uniting to help each other out. this is a picture several years ago of laura with her sister and nephew. a muni spokesperson says they have not been contacted by san mateo county health department or sf county health department about a possible meningtis case. it is unclear where laura got on the muni bus. her brother says she was living in san francisco and took the bus

because she could not drive due to her surgery. meningtis is highly contagious disease and can affect anyone of any age. doctors say there is a vaccine, but say it is normally only recommended for those living in close proximity of one another such as a college dorm. lab tests in the laura robson's case are expected soon. te another big story we are following tonight. the widow of the man behind the deadilest mass shooting in u-s history was arrested today by the f-b-i in the east bay town of rodeo. kron4's maureen kelly talks to neighbors at noor salman's family home where she was taken into custody this morning. >> reporter:noor salman was taken into custody here at the home she grew up at this morning around 7am without incident. she faces federal charges including obstruction of justice. this arrest coming months after she was questioned at length by the fbi following the june mass shooting at a gay nightclub in orlando florida. that massacre. at the pulse nightclub,. left 49 people dead. the gunman.salman's husband omar mateen.was later killed after a 3 our standoff. in a shootout with police. salman told the new york times that she knew her husband watched jihadist videos but was unaware of his plans to shoot up the club. and that he was abusive to her. in a statement orlando's police chief said that he was glad that omar mateen's wife has been charged with aiding and abetting her husband in the commission of the brutal attack. while salman's attorney released a statement saying: "noor has told her story of abuse at his hands. we believe it is misguided and wrong to prosecute her and that it dishonors the memories of the victims to punish an innocent person,"

tonight we've learned that the recent fire - at at a decades old japanese restaurant in the east bay. caused an estimated 250-thousand dollars in damage. the fire broke out just after 4 a-m on friday at the 'kamakura' restaurant in alameda.that's on santa clara avenue. investigators believe the fire may have started near a dryer at the restaurant and say it was accidental but an official cause has not been determined. the 92-year-old owner of the restaurant says she will rebuild and hopes to re-open soon. no one was injured during the fire. >> grant:we have file video! if you could update this story -- the estimated damage and the possible cause of the fire bcn13:alameda: japanese restaurant fire caused an estimated $250k in damage bcn13 - restaurant fire alameda - a fire at a decades- old japanese restaurant in alameda early friday morning caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, according to a fire captain. firefighters responded at 4:13 a.m. to kamakura japanese restaurant located at 2549 santa clara ave. after receiving reports of heavy smoke and fire, alameda fire cpt. jim colburn said. responding fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control within about 10 minutes of arrival, but not before the restaurant sustained significant fire damage, according to colburn. "the restaurant will need some work before they can open back up for business," colburn said. "kamakura will recover and reopen as soon as possible. thank you so much for all your
