( marty @ landing ) we start with breaking news this morning... at least one person is dead and 14 others are injured this morning following a shooting at a nightclub in cincinnati. this happened just after ten o'clock our time at the cameo night club. police currently have no one in custody. the motive is unclear this morning, but police say there is no reason to suspect terrorism at this

( marty @ landing ) an outspoken oakland mayor libby schaff at saturday's rally to keep the raiders...as the team inches closer to a potential move out of oakland. n-f-l owners can make the "las vegas raiders" official as early as tomorrow. kron four's averi harper is live from raiders head quarters in alameda more. averi? ( averi ) years of negotiations between the oakland raiders, the city and county of oakland and potential prviate partners may soon come to a head... as n-f-l owners are on the brink of deciding whether or not to keep the silver and black here

or shuttle them down to las vegas. oakland mayor libby schaaf says the city has done all it could to prevent the raiders from moving for a second time. hall of famer ronnie lott and business partner rodney pete did not attend the rally held at the oakland coliseum because they're in arizona ahead of the vote. but their teammate drew mcknight with the fortress investment group told the crowd of more than 150 fans and local leaders that his team is willing to put up at least 800-million dollars in private funds to build the raiders a new stadium on the coliseum site... and, that their plan is viable. fans concluded by marching around the coliseum in solidarity. three fourths of the n-f-l's thirty two owners must approve any plan to move the raiders... and, it's possible that vote can come as early as monday in phoenix. reid/council member- "our deal is equal or better than what they have in vegas."drew mcknight/fortress investment group- "there are no questions here. these numbers work and we're here's to guarantee them."> ( marty @ landing) thanks averi.

( marty @ landing ) our other big story this morning. concern in san jose as the crime rate there is on the rise. there are six homicides so far this year... this morning, san jose police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found near an elementary school. kron four's lydia pantazes explains. "for this neighborhood, its super unusual."it's here on the 900 block on bard street in san jose where a man died... it happened right next to an elementary school."this is a nice neighborhood and for it

to happen here, just concerns everyone in the whole neighborhood.""i've lived in san jose my whole life and it's never been as bad as it is now."when lorri de souza and her family saw the crime scene, they rushed over to find out what happened."and they said we needed to talk to you because you guys live down the street and we had to give my name and address and they had asked us if we were up early this morning and i said yeah we were up since 530 this morning and asked me if i heard gunshots and i said i didn't hear any gunshots and noise."police got the call saturday morning shortly after 10.... of a person down and not breathing with visible injuries. when police arrived they found an adult male suffering from serious injuries. medical personnel pronounced him dead a short time later.de souza says recently she's has seen in an increase in transients in the area..."the school is fenced but sometimes they will jump the fence to sleep in between the buildings in the school."

for now, police are investigating this incident as a suspicious death and they have not released the victim's name. ( marty @ landing ) also in the south bay, friends and family celebrate the life of a former south bay little league coach and security guard. a half dozen bay area bands gathered last night in san jose for a benefit concert to remember frank navarro. navarro was stabbed to death last month while working security at a nightclub. navarro's family says he got into a scuffle with the suspects after someone was turned away for using a fake i-d.

navarro was a little league coach who mentored and touched the lives of many kids. the proceeds from the event will help the family pay for funeral and burial expenses. six people have been charged with navarro's murder ( marty @ landing ) at least 8 famlies are without a home this morning after an apartment fire in pleasant hill. here is new viewer video of the scene during the blaze.

wounded another in las vegas has surrendered. following the shooting the suspect then barricaded himself inside a bus for hours. the standoff began around 11:00 yesterday morning when a man shot two people on a public bus on las vegas boulevard near the cosmopolitan hotel. officials say the shooter was on the double-decker bus when he opened fire. he then barricaded himself inside the bus . the standoff put a portion of busy las vegas boulevard on lockdown for hours. the man surrendered peacefully around 3-thirty yesterday afternoon. . no word this morning on the motiver for the shooting. ( marty ) and just a short time before the shooting... robbers hit a high-end jewelry store at the bellagio resort. this picture, taken by a witness shows one suspect wearing a pig mask. aurthorities say three burglars wearing masks used sledgehammers to smash the glass in the jewelry store. the burglary put the bellagio on lockdown, sending panicked guests rushing outside. police arrested

three suspects. authorities believe at least one had a gun, but no shots were fired. no one was injured. ( marty ) happening now... it's been 10 months since a vallejo teen disappeared. but there is a new development in the case this morning. kron four's hermela aregawi spoke to pearl pinson's family about what they're calling new hope. the family comes together every month to make sure pearl is not forgotten.they tell me they don't think police are doing enough.. but someone else noticed their calls for help.a stranger now a new friend.. is contributing her own money to help bring pearl home.a ten-thousand dollar reward.the family prays that's the key to finding pearl.sot rose pinson, missing teen's sisteri honestly feel deep down inside if money can't find my sister, what can. recently her family raised 1- thousand dollarsthen came anna bergmana vallejo resident who didn't know the pinsons but had attended vigils for her. sot anna bergmani saw that there was a lot of community

( marty ) on the ice... the sharks look to put an end to their five game losing streak... but instead, team teal lost another one. the nashville predators crush the sharks 7 to 2 last night. so it's 6 losses in a row. the sharks are finally back home after a 4 game road trip. they host the new york rangers tuesday at the s-a-p center. ( marty ) a donald trump march and rally in southern california turned violent as protesters also attended the event. the "make america great again" march started around noon yesterday. police said about two thousand trump supporters attended. up to forty protesters, some from the socialist party usa, were also there. the march started out peacefully. but violence soon erupted when the two sides met. police said six people were detained. three others were arrested and one person required some medical attention. however there was some unity between the crowds. some protesters and supporters were seen having civil discussions and even hugging. voters got a chance to hear from their congressional representatives. democratic leader nancy pelosi and congresswoman jackie speier held a town hall meeting . kron four's spencer blake was there as they touched on some very controversial topics. 12:30 friday morning security cameras captured a man trying to open car doors. police say he entered a backyard of a home on spruce street. authorities believe he is the same man caught on camera on other occasions and might be connected to other property crimes in the area. police say he has a thin goatee, walks with a limp and may have a malformed left hand. ( marty ) take a look at this... this is how a car chase ended near highway 101 in menlo park. kron 4's stanley roberts shot this video of police in action as they made two arrests. you can see they had their guns out as all of this was going on. the high-speed chase took police past whipple avenue and ended at ralston road. police say four people were in the vehicle and were armed with a gun. three of those four were arrested. one suspect got away. ( marty ) we're learning more about four people that were found dead in a sacramento home. the suspect was arrested in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area

worried that a massive sinkhole will expand. here is what the huge -60- foot-sinkhole looks like. grass valley public works officials say it formed in just a matter of hours during a winter storm. they say it took them by surprise. crews have set sandbags and tires around the sinkhole to hold back more dirt from forming. officals say they check the area every day. especially when wet weather is expected. < our biggest thing is we don't want to lose any more material down the creek and cause anymore environmental impacts down stream. when you're dealing with something 60 feet, 70 feet down in the ground, you wanna do it once and you want to do it right. > ( marty ) grass valley public works officials are currently working to repair the culvert and stabilize the ground before the wet weather hits again. east bay students may have the house for you. in the bay area's hot housing market open houses are drawing lines waiting to look at an open house just on the market in concord. the balloons are out, prospective buyers are looking in the windows, while others gather the real estate brochures, but this home was built entirely by concord high school students and comes in at an affordble twenty thousand dollars.i think it's two hundred and fifty eight square feet, sleep two right now, there's running water lights.the tiny house was the project of concord high's construction technology class and they are auctioning it off this month.i mean in high school you build a house in high school class. that's fantastic.it was one of my favorite classes my senior year, one the best i ever took in high school really.i had kids staying after school, working late, coming in on the weekends. just the engagement was huge. i never had a class that engaged in a project.the home builders expect the sale

took the pitch last night. the san francisco deltas played their inaugural match facing the indianapolis' indy eleven at kezar stadium. the san francisco deltas play in the north american soccer league. the game started off with the delta's taking an 1 to nothing lead in the 1st half. but in the 2nd half, indianapolis scored a goal as well to tie the game at 1 a piece. that would end up being the final score. after the game, we caught up with head coach marc dos santos and the teams ceo to talk about some challenges they've faced to get here.

wounded another in las vegas has surrendered. following the shooting the suspect then barricaded himself inside a bus for hours. the standoff began around 11:00 yesterday morning when a man shot two people on a public bus on las vegas boulevard near the cosmopolitan hotel. officials say the shooter was on the double-decker bus when he opened fire. he then barricaded himself inside the bus . the standoff put a portion of busy las vegas boulevard on lockdown for hours. the man surrendered peacefully around 3-thirty yesterday afternoon. . no word this morning on the motiver for the shooting. rally in southern california turned violent as protesters also attended the event. the "make america great again" march started around noon yesterday. police said about two thousand trump supporters attended. up to forty protesters, some from the socialist party usa, were also there. the march started out peacefully. but violence soon erupted when the two sides met. police said six people were detained. three others were arrested and one person required some medical attention. however there was some unity between the crowds. some protesters and supporters were seen having civil discussions and even hugging.

authorities say around 12:30 friday morning security cameras captured a man trying to open car doors. police say he entered a backyard of a home on spruce street. authorities believe he is the same man caught on camera on other occasions and might be connected to other property crimes in the area. police say he has a thin goatee, walks with a limp and may have a malformed left hand. ( marty ) take a look at this... this is how a car chase ended near highway 101 in menlo park. kron 4's stanley roberts shot this video of police in action as they made two arrests. you can see they had their guns out as all of this was going on. the high-speed chase took police past whipple avenue and ended at ralston road. police say four people were in the vehicle and were armed with a gun. three of those four were arrested. one suspect got away. bay, friends and family celebrate the life of a former south bay little league coach and security guard. a half dozen bay area bands gathered last night in san jose for a benefit concert to remember frank navarro. navarro was stabbed to death last month while working security at a nightclub. navarro's family says he got into a scuffle with the suspects after someone was turned away for using a fake i-d. navarro was a little league coach who mentored and touched the lives of many kids. the proceeds from the event will help the family pay for funeral and burial expenses. six people have been charged with navarro's murder ( marty ) still ahead. it's been almost a year since a vallejo teenager went missing... but her family has 'new hope" this morning. we'll explain. plus... house minority leader nancy pelosi holds a town hall meeting in san francisco, what she is saying about president trump. and financial experts are urging everyone to start saving now. after a new

yesterday morning when a man shot two people on a public bus on las vegas boulevard near the cosmopolitan hotel. officials say the shooter was on the double-decker bus when he opened fire. he then barricaded himself inside the bus . the standoff put a portion of busy las vegas boulevard on lockdown for hours. the man surrendered peacefully around 3-thirty yesterday afternoon. . no word this morning on the motiver for the shooting. ( marty ) and just a short time before the shooting... robbers hit a high-end jewelry store at the bellagio resort. this picture, taken by a witness shows one suspect wearing a pig mask. aurthorities say three burglars wearing masks used sledgehammers to smash the glass in the jewelry store. the burglary put the bellagio on lockdown, sending panicked guests rushing outside. police arrested three suspects. authorities believe at least one had a gun, but no shots were fired. no one was injured. rally in southern california turned violent as protesters also attended the event. the "make america great again" march started around noon yesterday. police said about two thousand trump supporters attended. up to forty protesters, some from the socialist party usa, were also there. the march started out peacefully. but violence soon erupted when the two sides met. police said six people were detained. three others were arrested and one person required some medical attention. however there was some unity between the crowds. some protesters and supporters were seen having civil discussions and even hugging. ( marty ) we're learning more about four people that were found dead in a sacramento home. the suspect was arrested in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area called police to do a welfare check. angela musallam spoke with a friend of the victims.

building went partly dark last night to put a spotlight on climate change. lights around the world were turned off for the tenth annual "earth hour". it's to raise awareness about the need for action to tackle climate problems. many other famous buildings and landmarks dimmed their lights for an hour. among them were london's tower bridge and the eiffel tower in paris.and the golden gate and bay bridges went dark as well.
