to las vegas. kron four's mark carpenter has the latest on the raiders relocation vote that's taking place today. despite a last minute push from oakland officials to save the raiders, commissioner roger goodell made it clear that the league still does not see a viable solution in the bay area. to add insult to injury,as nfl owners walked into the biltmore hotel here in phoenix sunday afternoon, one executived hinted that we may be in the final hours of the oakland raiderscowboys owner jerry jones widely considered the dean of his executive colleagues, indicating he may be one of 24 votes needed to send the raiders to sin city. tomorrow's meeting is a culmination of mark davis' mission to move the silver and black.if he gets a vote of approval from his fellow owners, he'll be settling in into a 1.9 billion dollar stadium largely funded by 750 million dollars of nevada taxpayer money.while a vote is slated to take place, there are certain scenarios that

could spark optimism in oakland either no vote takes place and is delayed till may or the raiders receive conditional approval to move, given they finalize a stadium site nd lease agreement in vegasthe owners are expected to start the relocation discussion sometime in the mid morning and could hold a formal vote by the end of the day.at the nfl owners meeting in phoenix, mc kron4 news ( james ) oakland's final push to keep the raiders in town is not getting high praise from the n-f-l commissioner... roger goodell responded to mayor libby schaaf in a letter that many raider fans here find discouraging. kron four's spencer blake explains. the big word in commissioner roger goodell's letteris viability.an n-f-l dot com article highlighted some of his concerns with oakland's final proposal.for example, he says, quote, "key issues that we have identified as threshold considerations are simply not resolvable in the short term.""this to me, and maybe i'm being very cynical, but this to me shows the nfl

popular mexican soccer team. soccer fans turning violent about an hour before the game started. kron four's lydia pantazes spoke to the people who got into the fight. this is exclusive video as a fight between soccer fans starts...you see a smoke bomb thrown...a closer look shows the two groups separated by a fence but that was knocked down..."so they just started screaming at each other, saying different things to one another and then they started throwing the rocks and bottles and then they knocked down the fence."then witnesses say it got worse..."and the gate over here behind me was totally knocked down off its hinges and the fans came together and that's when the fighting started.""that scratch here and this whole thing here."bus driver edgar torres shows us where rocks hit his bus."were scared for your safety? i was scared for the bus cause it was getting hit by rocks.""we just got our vehicles and we got them out of the way

nightclub over the weekend. it's a story we brought you first yesterday on kron four news weekend. this happened just before 1:00 in the morning eastern time sunday at the cameo nightclub. one man was killed and at least 15 others were injured. police identified the man killed as 27-year-old o'bryan spikes. four officers were already at the club providing extra security when the shooting happened. they were able to quickly respond to the victims. no arrests have been made in the case as of this morning. breaking news we are following this morning... 8 japanese high school students are dead after an avalanche at a ski resort this morning. this is our first image from the scene just into the newsroom. the avalanche happened at a ski resort about 120 miles north of tokyo. 8 bodies were found. japanese officials identified them as high school students. they were part of a group of about 60 students who were at the resort when the avalanche hit. several other people were injured. rescue efforts are continuing this morning.

who they arrested. this started on thursday.. when a student.. who was being coached by the suspect..came forward and said she was uncomfortable with text messages that he sent her.when police investigated the allegations.. they found out she wasn't the only victim. tonight - 21 year old moises martin is out on bail.. but is facing multiple charges including a felony.. sending harmful matter to minors.on thursday.. a 13 year old student told school officials she was receiving inapparopriate messages from martin.that's when police discovered a second victim.sot capt shawn aheard, sunnyvale dept of public safetywe actually interviewed that second victim and found out the same situation. the texts were a little bit more of an inappropriate nature than the texts between the first victim. police aren't telling us the name of the middle school where martin volunteered.. but say he wasn't working on school

( james ) happening now. police are looking for this man who they say stole more than one-thousand dollars worth of purses from a popular outlet store. he was captured on security cameras. police say it happened around 7:30 friday night when the thief stole five purses from the coach store at the petaluma outlets. he has been described as a hispanic man wearing a beige sweater, maroon pants and an oakland a's scarf. ( james ) in san rafael. police conducted a human trafficking operation that led to the arrest of 12 men. during the sting, police targeted prostitution-related crimes in hotels across san rafael. the 12 men arrested friday were between 19 and 63 years old and all were from san rafael. the focus of the operation was to promote awareness about human trafficking and educate those soliciting sex about their ( james ) in national news this morning... congress

arrested again after a similar stunt. police say 38- year-old marci anderson wahl was arrested after an alarm sounded about 2:00 in the morining yesterday. officials say she scaled the fence at the treasury building, next to the white house. she was charged with with unlawful entry and contempt of court. walh was first arrested last tuesday after trying to jump the white house fence. hot against the memphis grizzlies. the dubs riding a 6 game winning streak enterting last night's game... and the splash brothers plus andre iguodala made sure to keep it alive. klay thompson scores 31 points, steph curry has 21 points and 11 assists. and iguodala had 20 points off the bench. the warriors outscore memphis by 10 in the 4th quarter. they win 106 to 94 and have now won 7 in a row. they take on james harden and the rockets in houston tomorrow night. ( james ) a woman is in jail this morning after police say she shot a 25-year-old man in vallejo. officers tell us a woman was waving a gun around when she fired a shot, hitting the man. it happened just after 10:00 yesterday morning morning at the marina heights apartments near mare island way and florida street. two children were taken into protective custody. no word on the relationship between the man and the woman. the man was taken to the hospital, we're still working to get an update on his condition this morning. dead after police say her husband stabbed her in san jose. on decemeber 16th, police say a 23-year-old woman was killed by her boyfriend in daly city. december 15th, the first took place at a hercules apartment complex where 19-year-old desire borela killed her boyfriend 22- year-old ian irby. ( james ) happening now. we know the identities of four people found dead in a sacramento home. police tell us they are: 45-year-old angelique vasquez. her 14-year-old daughter, mia vasquez. her 11-year-old son, alvin vasquez. and 21-year-old ashley coleman. they were all found dead inside a single-story home thursday. investigators are currently using the entire house as evidence. police arrested the suspect56- year-old salvador vasquez- olivia. he was taken into custody in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area called police to do a welfare check. learning the identity of the man police say opened fire on a las vegas bus, killing one and injuring another. this happened saturday. authorities say rolando cardenas was sitting in the rear of the bus near the victims. the bus stopped and passengers were getting out when cardenas stood up and fired several shots. the suspect then barricaded himself in the bus for hours. he eventually surrendered peacefully. a 57-year-old from montana died at the hospital after he was shot. another victim suffered minor injuries. cardenas is charged with attempted murder, burglary and discharging a gun.

( james @ landing ) this morning an east bay high school's sports program is getting thousands of dollars thanks to a super bowl champion. before playing in the n-f-l... robert turbin was a star football player at fremont's irvington high school. kron four's will tran shows us how turbin with the help of a beloved former 49ers running back was able to give back. it's a story you will only see on kron four. most of us... after graduation.. have never returned to our high school. most of us...also don't have our jersey hanging in the school gym either(robert turbin/indianapolis colts running back-- it's always been my dream to one day come back)robert turbin won a super bowl with the seattle seahawks and currently plays for the

( james ) united airlines is facing some criticism this morning after it prevented two girls from boarding a flight because of what they were wearing. the two girls were stopped by a gate agent in denver yesterday morning for wearing leggings. a spokesman for the airline said the two were traveling under an employee travel pass which has a dress code. under the dress code: travelers are prohibited from wearing leggings. the spokesman says the girls agreed to change clothes and take a later flight. ticketed passengers are not subject to the dress code and can wear leggings. have become a common problem here in the bay area. kron four's stanley robert's visited one city to catch driviers in this morning's people behaving badly. i kinda caught the end of this but pay attention to what is happening, the driver of this mercedes wagon just made u-turn on castro street in mountain view nats: ambiance the driver wants a parking space so which will require a little bit of manuerving, all the while the driver is blocking traffic including the number 35 busit would seem to me that drivers are totally unaware of the traffic laws in a business district or they just chose to ignore them you deceide nat: ambiance here is another example .this driver in the volvo. now while his u- turn was much smoother .non the less it is not permitted that driver had to make a quick deliverly now if only he can figure out exactly where that food is suppose be delivered to .. nats: ambiance then there was this guy he filpped the u-turn right in front of me and parked so i asked him if he has any ideal how much the fine is for doing what he just

more than 56-thousand vehicles are being recalled because of problems with power steering hoses. the recall affects model years 20-13 and 20-14. according to nissan, the power steering hose clamp may not properly secure the hoses. this could result in the hose detaching and leaking power steering fluid. if the fluid leaks onto a hot engine or exhaust pipes, it can potentially start a fire. nissan says dealers will install a new power steering high pressure hose kit, free of charge. ( darya ) police first reported that the fight was between fans of opposing teams... but witnesses we spoke to say the

( darya ) a woman is in jail this morning after police say she shot a 25-year-old man in vallejo. officers say the woman was waving a gun around and fired a shot, hitting the man. it happened just after 10:00 yesterday morning morning at the marina heights apartments near mare island way and florida street. two children were taken into protective custody. no word on the relationship between the man and the woman. the man was taken to the hospital, his condition is unknown this morning. ( mark ) a woman is recovering this morning after being attacked in danville. police believe it was a domestic dispute. neighbors woke up to load screaming yesterday morning. witnesses say the fight started inside a home on oneida circle and eventually made its way outside.

police arrest 12 men after a human trafficking operation. during the operation, police targeted prostitution-related crimes in hotels across san rafael. the 12 men arrested friday were between 19 and 63 years old and all were from san rafael. police say they are trying to promote awareness about human trafficking. ( darya ) happening today... the woman accused of intentionally hitting several people in a walmart parking lot will be in court for the first time. 23-year-old jessica malicoat is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon. the incident happened earlier this month at the walmart in union city and it was all caught on camera. in the video you can see a silver honda accord backing up right into five people. a toddler was treated for some minor scrapes. police say fortunately no one was seriously hurt because a shopping cart took the brunt of the hit. escaped inmates are on the loose after a prison break in northern mexico. the escape happened last week but only 15 of the 29 escapees have been captured. investigators say they escaped through a tunnel and that a car was robbed during the escape. then a riot broke out at the prison on friday, as police investigated. three inmates were stabbed to death during that riot. arrested the suspect56- year-old salvador vasquez- olivia. he was taken into custody in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area called police to do a welfare check. ( darya ) we are learning new information about the moments before last week's terror attack in london that killed four people. investigators say the man responsible for the attack... khalid masood sent a "whats app" message to an unknown person just minutes before the attack. police do not know what was in the message because it is encrypted. the attack last wednesday left three pedestrians and a police officer dead. dozens of others were wounded. so far 12 people have been arrested as part of the investigation. ( darya ) happening now. police are looking for this man who they say stole more than one-thousand dollars worth of purses from a popular outlet store. he was captured on security cameras.

felony charges. on thursday a 13-year-old student who was being coached by martin told school officials she was receiving inappropriate text messages from him. police launched their investigation and say that is when they discovered a second victim. they say when martin applied to coach at the school, there were no red flags in his background check. ( mark ) right now police are not naming the middle school where martin coached volleyball. they say he also volunteered at a local senior center. ( mark ) in the south bay... chaos outside of avaya stadium in san jose over the weekend. soccer fans turned violent right before the game. officials identified them as high school students. they were part of a group of about 60 students who were at the resort when the avalanche hit. several other people were injured. rescue efforts are continuing this morning. ( darya ) a woman is in jail this morning after police say she shot a 25-year-old man in vallejo. officers say the woman was waving a gun around and fired a shot, hitting the man. it happened just after 10:00 yesterday morning morning at the marina heights apartments near mare island way and florida street. two children were taken into protective custody. no word on the relationship between the man and the woman. the man was taken to the hospital, his condition is morning. ( mark ) happening now... police are looking for the driver who hit a killed a person in san jose. it happened just after midnight sunday morning on monterey road and stauffer boulevard. when police arrived they found the man lying in the road. he was taken to the hospital where he later died. the driver left the scene and this morning police have not released any information

( mark ) a woman is recovering this morning after being attacked in danville. police believe it was a domestic dispute. neighbors woke up to load screaming yesterday morning. witnesses say the fight started inside a home on oneida circle and eventually made its way outside. ( mark ) there are no reports of any arrests. police are still investigating the incident. the woman was sent to the hospital, but is expected to be okay. incident happened earlier this month at the walmart in union city and it was all caught on camera. in the video you can see a silver honda accord backing up right into five people. a toddler was treated for some minor scrapes. police say fortunately no one was seriously hurt because a shopping cart took the brunt of the hit. ( darya ) in san rafael.. police arrest 12 men after a human trafficking operation. during the operation, police targeted prostitution-related crimes in hotels across san rafael. the 12 men arrested friday were between 19 and 63 years old and all were from san rafael. police say they are trying to promote awareness about human trafficking. ( mark ) we now know the identities of four people found dead in a sacramento home. this is a story we first told you about last week. police tell us they are: 45-year-old angelique vasquez.

her 14-year-old daughter, mia vasquez. her 11-year- old son alvin vasquez. and 21-year-old ashley coleman. they were all found dead inside a single-story home thursday. investigators are currently using the entire house as evidence. police arrested the suspect56- year-old salvador vasquez- olivia. he was taken into custody in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area called police to do a welfare check. ( mark ) happening now. police are looking for this man who they say stole more than one-thousand dollars worth of purses from a popular outlet store. he was captured on security cameras. police say it happened around 7:30 friday night when the thief stole five purses from the coach store at the petaluma outlets. he has been described as a hispanic man wearing a beige sweater, maroon pants and an oakland a's scarf. ( darya ) police are searching for the shooter that left one man dead and 15 others injured in a cincinnatti nightclub shooting. it happened yesterday after a fight broke out at the

club. people were searched for weapons before going in, but multiple people managed to sneak them in. 16 people were shot. four police officers rushed into the club and found the dance floor covered in blood. ( darya ) a 27-year-old man died in the shooting. five people remain hospitalized this morning. ( darya ) we now know the identity of the man police say opened fire on a las vegas bus, killing one and injuring another. this happened saturday. police say rolando cardenas was sitting in the back of the bus near the victims. the bus stopped and passengers were getting out when cardenas stood up and randomly fired several shots. he then barricaded himself in the bus
