( will ) happening today. a man accused of kidnapping, drugging and sexually assaulting a 13 year old gir will be in court. police say 50 year-old timothy marble picked up the teenager at a gas station in napa after she ran away from home. kron four's alecia reid has the story. neighbors are still shocked that this man that they've seen for years is being accused of such horror..pkgin a neighborhood where children play freely in the street, people are terrified to hear that this man timothy marble who has lived next to them for years has been arrested and charged with child abuse, kidnappng, and nearly 2 dozen felonies."i think it's really crazy. i never imagined he'd do that."less than half a mile from his mobile home, police say marble picked up a runaway from this shell gas station. the 13 year old girl had left home after an argument with

her mother thursday night. he promised her a ride. "it's very sad, very scary."the two took off. police say they stopped to smoke some marijuana. the 50 year old then started to seduce the teen. when she refused his advances, police say he tied her to a tree and sexually assaulted her, then put her back in the truck and pumped meth into her veins."he should be behind bars for a long time" but it didn't stop there. according to reports, he sexually assaulted her at least 2 more times and etched his name into her skin with a blade. the two continued on to bodega bay, and at some point the victim jumped out of the moving truck. authorities say he put the vehicle in park, got out and threatened to kill her.sot - i never thought he ws the type of guy to do that in an unexpected turn, the suspect called police to say his companion had jumped out of the car. of course when they showed up to the scene, he was taken into custody. marble has a long criminal history including drug related charges.

( will ) a boating accident leaves one man dead this morning. another man onboard survived... the duo was re-entering tomales bay when huge waves caused the boat to capsize near the northern part of point reyes national seashore. this is video of the area from our helicopter partnership with abc7 news. it happened just after noon yesterday. the boat was a 13-foot boston whaler. in addition to the two people, two dogs were also onboard. they made it to shore and are expected to be okay. authorities at this time are not releasing the name of the man who died in the accident. ( will ) a massive fire breaks out out at a food processing plant in los angeles. this is video of the fire from last night.

more than 170-firefighters responded to the fire in "pro- portion foods." officials say the flames had already reached the attic by the time fire crews arrived. they heard explosions inside the building believed to be from propane tanks and fork lifts that caught on fire. firefighters say there were no injuries or evacuations in the area. ( will ) a rise in car thefts in one east bay neighborhood has neighbors on alert this morning. eight cars stolen in eight days. and as kron 4's ella sogomonian explains, police think the crooks are using the cars to commit crimes. "it's demoralizing because i feel like my family doesn't deserve it."fiona wong's family parked their car in front of their alameda home on eagle avenue as usual.in a matter of two hours it was gone. fiona wong, car theft victim "and it's unfair to families like ours because they work hard and its valuable property that's just taken away."the honda was

later found spray painted black and damaged.and this is the second time it's happened to them. in the course of one week 8 cars were stolen between march 22nd and march 29th throughout the city - averaging one car per day. although seven were recovered in oakland and across the bay - between amnesty and repair fees fiona says she can't afford to bring the car home. ( will ) a man arrested in connection with a triple shooting in san francisco has been released from custody. jonathan santos from vallejo was arrested after the deadly shooting in the city's oceanview neighborhood last wednesday. the shooting killed a 65-year-old woman who was walking to the bus stop. two men were also injured in the shooting. police say there are no charges and the investigation is ongoing. are looking for potential victim's after they arrested a man accused of exposing himself to a woman in a mountain view parking lot. kron four's charles clifford talked to police about what else they say they've uncovered about the suspect... including alleged involvement with a teenage victim. (charles standup)according to mountain view police, on sunday afternoon 31-year old redwood city resident w exposed himself to a woman sitting in a parked car in this lot along charleston road. when the woman yelled for help, yamagata drove away. police arrived on scene a short time later and as they were talking with the victim, they received reports that a man matching yamagata's description was bothering another woman just a few blocks away.sot

went to the door and saw the man walking away. then at around 11, police received a call from a woman at a home on college avenue. she told police that a man was standing in the bushes trying to look through a bedroom window. once the woman saw him... the man took off. police are now trying to figure out if these cases are connected to a prowling case from last month. detectives say they have identified a suspect but have not released his name. and so far no charges have been filed. ( will ) a "sanctuary restaurant" sign in the window of an east bay eatery appears to have been the target of a show of hate. it happened in oakland... kron four's spencer blake talked to the employees who feel the vandalism is a personal attack. (nats from the kitchen)fatima abudamos is from jordan.she's lived in the u-s for about five years, and has worked at ba-bite for about two.she's one of the reasons these signs are on the front door."we put that up because we care about our community and we care about our employees and we thought it was the right thing to do."but abudamos was also one of the first employees to find this - remnants of what they think were feces, smeared all over the signs that show support for immigrants."it's so sad to do that. it's like, why?"she went above and beyond her job responsibilities by helping to clean it up.her boss, restaurant owner robert gott, wasn't in town when it happened last week.in a twist of irony, he was at a restaurant conference in d-c. the nasty vandalism happened the day before he and his wife spoke to barbara lee and other lawmakers on capitol hill

lost their dog after it was attacked by honey bees. it happened in ceres ((series)), three people were also hurt. the owner of the bees keeps them as a hobby: to make honey. when he tried to harvest the honey, the bees became aggressive. that is when he called the fire department. a neighbor, his two pit bulls and a firefighter were all attacked by the bees. all the men are o-k but the bee stings killed one of the dogs. the rest of that colony was euthanized to make sure the aggressive bees would not re-populate somewhere else. ( mark ) a pedestrian is hit and killed by a car in the south bay. the crash happened just after 8:00 last night in san jose on monterey road near roeder road. the driver hit the pedestrian and then slammed into a tree. police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation. so far no charges have been filed. ( darya ) police are looking for more victims after they arrested a man who they say exposed himself to a woman in a mountain view parking lot. it happened on sunday afternoon in the orchard supply parking lot along charleston road.

police say 31-year-old brandon yamagata is accused of exposing himself to a woman sitting in a parked car. when the woman yelled for help, he drove away. police say a short time later... a man matching yamagata's description was bothering another woman just a few blocks away. ( darya ) when police searched yamagata's car they found a meth pipe and an i-d card belonging to a minor who he apparently had an inappropriate relationship with. mountain view police are now worried he may have had additional victims and they are asking anyone with information to ( mark ) we are learning new information about what lead up to a baby drowning in a swimming pool in concord. we first brought you this

story yesterday on the kron four morning news. one-year-old molly scott was found in a backyard pool on leland way when she was visiting a family member on sunday. the pool did have a five-foot fence around it... but investigators say one of the gates was not locked properly. police say the death appears to be an accident. with the weather getting warmer, the contra costa fire district is urging families with pools to check that covers and gates are working properly. ( mark ) the man accused of kidnapping, drugging and sexually assautling a 13 year old girl in the north bay will be in court today. police say 50 year-old timothy marble picked up the young victim at a gas station in napa after she ran away from home. investigators say the two stopped to smoke marijuana and that's when police say marble tied her to a tree and assaulted her multiple times. police say he also used a blade to scratch his name into her skin. investigators also say he injected her with meth. marble was arrested in bodega bay. he is charged with child abuse, kidnappng, and nearly two

dozen other felonies. ( darya ) one man is dead after a boating accident in tomales bay. another man onboard survived... the two were entering tomales bay when big waves caused the boat to capsize near the northern part of point reyes national seashore. this is video of the area from our helicopter partnership with abc7 news. it happened just after noon yesterday. in addition to the two people, two dogs were also onboard. they made it to shore and are expected to be okay. ( mark ) a man arrested in connection with a triple shooting in san francisco has been released from custody. jonathan santos from vallejo was arrested after the deadly shooting in the city's oceanview neighborhood last wednesday. the shooting left a 65-year-old woman dead. she had been walking to a bus stop at the time. two men were also injured in the shooting. police say there are no charges and the investigation is ongoing. alto are searching for a man involved in two prowling incidents. the first incident happened around eight- thirty sunday night at a home on yale street. a woman says the man approached her and started to make small talk. about 20- minutes later, the woman heard the doorknob on her locked front door being shaken. she went to the door and saw the man walking away. then at around 11, police received a call from a woman at a home on college avenue. she told police that a man was standing in the bushes trying to look through a bedroom window. once the woman saw him... the man took off. police are now trying to figure out if these cases are connected to a prowling case from last month. detectives say they have identified a suspect but have not released his name. and so far no charges filed. are getting another look at just how much snow is in the sierra. a new snow survey conducted by p-g-and-e shows that the snowpack is 160% of normal for this time of year. in some areas the snow is up to 16 feet deep. p-g-and-e officials are hoping to use the snowpack and all of the water from the wet winter to increase their hydroelectric power supply. the snowpack is also responsible for a third of the state's water supply. ( darya ) federal immigration officials have detained a bay area prostitute who was at the center of a very high profile drug overdose case. the santa cruz sheriff's office confirms alix tichelman was turned over to federal agents after she completed a jail sentence for involuntary manslaughter. she was serving time in connection with the accidental heroin overdose of a google executive. prosecutors say tichelman injected the man with heroin back in november 20-13 then left without calling for help when he passed out. it is not clear this morning why she was taken into federal custody. ( mark ) a massive fire breaks out out at a food processing plant in los angeles. this is video of the blaze from last night. more than 170-firefighters responded to the fire in "pro- portion foods." crews heard explosions inside the building that are believed to be from propane tanks and fork

lifts that caught on fire. firefighters say there were no injuries. ( darya ) a bill that will increase gas taxes and vehicle fees in california has cleared a major hurdle. a california senate panel advanced the proposal that would fix roads across the state that have been damaged by recent storms. the measure would increase the price of gas 12 cents per gallon. this would help state officials raise the 52-billion-dollars needed to fix california's damaged roads and bridges. there would also be an increase to registration fees. governor brown is expected to discuss the proposal today with other lawmakers. ( mark ) a central valley family lost their dog after it was attacked by honey bees. it happened in ceres ((series)), three people were also hurt. the owner of the bees keeps them as a hobby. when he tried to harvest the honey, the bees became aggressive. that is when he called the fire department. a neighbor, his two pit bulls and a firefighter were

congresswoman barbara lee and other lawmakers on capitol hill about employee and immigrant rights. the owner says he will not take his signs down that say "sanctuary restaurant." the majority of employees there are from different countries and say the vandalism felt like a personal attack. ( darya ) the owner says he will continue to support mmigrant workers and their right to make a living. ( mark ) the city of san jose declares an end to a water restrictions. the declaration puts an end to the 20-percent cutback on residential water usage.. it also ends restrictions that limit when lawns and gardens may be watered. but there are still rules that say no irrigation is allowed allowed between 10 a-m and 8 p-m without the use of a bucket, hand held container or hose with a shutoff nozzle.

federal prosecutors just announcing that a new jersey teenager was plotting to kill the pontiff during his visit to philadelphia. the 17-year-old pleaded guilty and was charged as an adult after an undercover f-b-i agent tried to hire him as a sniper. the plot also involved setting off explosives near a mass held by pope francis. the teen now faces up to 15 years in prison. ( mark ) the terrorism group "isis" has released a list of american citizens that it is encouraging terrorists to kill. the list was released over the weekend and contains the names and addresses of more than 8- thousand americans including president trump. the group also released a video encouraging attacks on those people by lone gunmen. this is not the first time that the group has released a list like this. a similar list was released in april of last year but this is the first time that has included home addresses. ( mark ) a second teenager has been charged in a sexual assault that was streamed on facebook live. chicago

police say as many as six people raped a 15-year-old girl in front of dozens of people who were watching online. the facebook post has been removed. the two teenagers arrested are facing several criminal sexual assault charges. police are still trying to identify five other teens and one adult. ( darya ) in southern california... one construction worker is dead and another is injured after a wall collapsed at a construction site. it happened monday in san diego county when a six-feet-tall concrete block fell over. the worker who was injured got knocked off the wall. he was taken to the hospital with leg and back injuries. the worker who died got trapped in a trench under all the rubble. ( darya ) actor harrison ford will not face any penalties after mistakenly landing on a taxiway at a southern california airport.

the f-a-a will not fine ford and he will keep his pilot's license without restriction. the 74-year-old landed on a taxi-way instead of the runway at john wayne airport in orange county back in february. he nearly crashed into an american airlines jet that was waiting to take off. ford has has been a licensed pilot for more than 20 years. ( mark ) u-p-s has announced that it will start saturday deliveries. the company says the move will create about 6-thousand new jobs by the end of the year. saturday deliveries are already being tested in atlanta... los angeles... and philadelphia. they are expected to begin nationwide in a few weeks. overnight.... a pedestrian is hit and killed by a car in the south bay. the crash happened just after 8:00 last night in san jose on monterey road near roeder road. the driver hit the pedestrian and then slammed into a tree. police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation. so far no charges have been filed. ( darya ) police are looking for more victims after they arrested a man who they say exposed himself to a woman in a mountain view parking lot. it happened on sunday afternoon in the orchard supply parking lot along charleston road. police say 31-year-old brandon yamagata is accused of

exposing himself to a woman sitting in a parked car. when the woman yelled for help, he drove away. police say a short time later... a man matching yamagata's description was bothering another woman just a few blocks away. ( darya ) when police searched yamagata's car they found a meth pipe and an i-d card belonging to a minor who he apparently had an inappropriate relationship with. mountain view police are now worried he may have had additional victims and they are asking anyone with information to come forward. ( mark ) we are learning new information about what led up to a baby drowning in a swimming pool in concord. we first brought you this story yesterday on the kron four morning news. one-year-old molly scott was found in a backyard pool on leland way when she was visiting a family member on

sunday. the pool did have a five-foot fence around it... but investigators say one of the gates was not locked properly. police say the death appears to be an accident. with the weather getting warmer, the contra costa fire district is urging families with pools to check that covers and gates are working properly. ( mark ) the man accused of kidnapping, drugging and sexually assautling a 13 year old girl in the north bay will be in court today. police say 50 year-old timothy marble picked up the young victim at a gas station in napa after she ran away from home. investigators say the two stopped to smoke marijuana and that's when police say marble tied her to a tree and assaulted her multiple times. police say he also used a blade to scratch his name into her skin. investigators also say he injected her with meth. marble was arrested in bodega bay. he is charged with child abuse, kidnappng, and nearly two dozen other felonies. ( darya ) one man is dead after a boating accident in tomales bay. another man

onboard survived... this is video of the area from our helicopter partnership with abc7 news. the two were entering tomales bay when big waves caused the boat to capsize near the northern part of point reyes national seashore. it happened just after noon yesterday. in addition to the two people, two dogs were also onboard. they made it to shore and are expected to be okay. ( mark ) a man arrested in connection with a triple shooting in san francisco has been released from custody. jonathan santos from vallejo was arrested after the deadly shooting in the city's oceanview neighborhood last wednesday. the shooting left a 65-year-old woman dead. she had been walking to a bus stop at the time. two men were also injured in the shooting. police say there are no charges and the investigation is ongoing. ( mark ) police in palo alto are searching for a man involved in two prowling incidents. the first incident happened around eight- thirty sunday night at a home on yale street. a woman says the man approached

her and started to make small talk. about 20- minutes later, the woman heard the doorknob on her locked front door being shaken. she went to the door and saw the man walking away. then at around 11, police received a call from a woman at a home on college avenue. she told police that a man was standing in the bushes trying to look through a bedroom window. once the woman saw him... the man took off. police are now trying to figure out if these cases are connected to a prowling case from last month. detectives say they have identified a suspect but have not released his name. and so far no charges have been filed. ( darya ) breaking news from overnight. investigators say the deadly attack at a russian train station was carried out by a suicide bomber. investigators say the terrorist is a kyrgyzstan national. the death toll has risen to 14. the victims were killed after an explosion between two subway stations. 49 people are still in the hospital this morning. investigators say a larger explosive was found at another station and disarmed. so far no group

( mark ) we are now hearing from one of the three protesters who filed a lawsuit against president trump. that was video from back in march of 20-16 in kentucky. the protesters say they were roughed up by president trump's supporters after comments he had made. a federal judge ruled that it is possible that the would-be president incited a riot. the protester says the violence started after she held up a sign.

say he did not intend for his supporters to use force. the judge rejected the president free speech defense agasinst the lawsuit. the lawsuit was also filed against president trump's campaign and three of his supporters. ( darya ) a bill that will increase gas taxes and vehicle fees in california has cleared a major hurdle. a california senate panel advanced the proposal that would fix roads across the state that have been damaged by recent storms. the measure would increase the price of gas 12 cents per gallon. this would help state officials raise the 52-billion-dollars needed to fix california's damaged roads and bridges. there would also be an increase to registration fees. governor brown is expected to discuss the proposal today with other lawmakers. ( darya ) covering california... the state may no longer require bail for most criminal suspects. under the new proposal, county officials would decide whether to release suspects based on their risk to public safety, rather than requiring people

to post bail. officials would also try to use jail alternatives like home detention or monitoring bracelets that track suspects' locations. when a judge decides a money bail is needed for a serious or violent crime, the amount would be based on defendants' incomes. the bail industry and some victim rights and law enforcement groups oppose the bills. ( mark ) federal immigration officials have detained a bay area prostitute who was at the center of a very high profile drug overdose case. the santa cruz sheriff's office confirms alix tichelman was turned over to federal agents after she completed a jail sentence for involuntary manslaughter. she was serving time in connection with the accidental heroin overdose of a google executive. prosecutors say tichelman injected the man with heroin back in november 20-13 then left without calling for help when he passed out. it is not clear this morning why she was taken into federal custody. ( mark ) white house

officials met with two key republican groups offering to make changes to the failed health care bill. vice president mike pence and two top white house officials met yesterday with members of the house freedom caucus. that is the conservative group president trump recently linked to the failure of the bill. white house officials offered to give states more flexibility to opt out of affordable care act regulations using a waiver process. one of those requirements include that insurers can't drop sick people. conservatives argue that these requirements drive up premium costs. ( darya ) a central valley family lost their dog after it was attacked by honey bees. it happened in ceres ((series)), three people were also hurt. the owner of the bees keeps them as a hobby. when he tried to harvest the honey, the bees became aggressive. that is when he called the fire department. a neighbor, his two pit bulls and a firefighter were all attacked by the bees.

experiencing a spike in car thefts within a one-week period. eight cars were stolen in alameda between march 22nd and 29th. all the cars were parked in residential neighborhoods and stolen within five to ten minutes of each other. police say the stolen cars were either a honda or a chevy. ( darya ) seven of the stolen cars have been recovered in oakland and across the bay. ( mark ) a final confirmation vote is expected by the end of the week. ( mark ) in the east bay... a sign defending immigrants that was on the door of an oakland restaurant is vandalized. it happened last week at "ba-bite." the owner was out of town at a conference in washington d-c. he and his wife spoke to congresswoman barbara lee and other lawmakers on capitol hill about employee and immigrant rights. the owner says he will not take his signs down that say "sanctuary restaurant." the majority of employees there are from different countries and say the vandalism felt like a personal attack. the owner says he will continue to support mmigrant workers and their right to make a living. ( darya ) the city of san jose declares an end to a water restrictions. the declaration puts an end to the 20-percent cutback on residential water usage.. it also ends restrictions that limit when lawns and gardens may be watered. but there are still rules that say no irrigation is allowed allowed between 10 a-m and 8 p-m without the use of a bucket, hand held container or hose with a shutoff nozzle. ( darya ) the city is also encouraging people to check their sprinklers for leaks and reminding people that sprinklers cannot run more than 15 minutes per station each day. ( mark ) an oakland city council woman is encouraging people to donate to the survivors of last week's deadly apartment fire on san pablo avenue. 4 people

( darya ) severe weather in the south has now claimed the lives of five people. one woman in mississippi was killed when her car went into a creek. hundreds of people had to be rescued from the rising flood waters.

old pleaded guilty and was charged as an adult after an undercover f-b-i agent tried to hire him as a sniper. the plot also involved setting off explosives near a mass held by pope francis. the teen now faces up to 15 years in prison. ( mark ) the terrorism group "isis" has released a list of american citizens that it is encouraging terrorists to kill. the list was released over the weekend and contains the names and addresses of more than 8- thousand americans including president trump. the group also released a video encouraging attacks on those people by lone gunmen. this is not the first time that the group has released a list like this. a similar list was released in april of last year but this is the first time that has included home addresses. ( mark ) in southern california... one construction worker is dead and another is injured after a wall collapsed at a construction site. it happened monday in san diego county when a six-feet-tall concrete block fell over. the worker who was injured got

kansas boy has become very popular all over the world. mail has been pouring in for him ever since he was diagnosed with cancer. doctors found carson hall had one of the deadliest brain tumors a child can have about a year ago. the survival rate is less than one percent. carson's family and friends made a facebook page for him saying how he loves getting the mail to help lift his spirits. now...his mom says he has gotten hundreds of letters, stickers and even pictures from people he has never met.
