it's going to be hard for united airlines to put a positive spin on this..... the video showing a passenger being forcibly dragged off a flight at chicago's o'hare airport sunday.... the airline needed to bump four people order to make room for united employees..when no one volunteered -- four people

were 'randomly' chosen. what you're watching - the three chicago police officers called in when a doctorargued he didn't want to get off.....and that he had patients he needed to see. the man was dragged down the aisle....bleeding from the mouth after hitting his head. you can hear the anguished protests by him and other passengers.... man screams as he's dragged off.passengers - oh my god. no!!!! oh my god!!! what are you doing? no!! oh my god. look what you did to him - oh my god. the police officer who dragged the man has now been put on leave... as for united - the chief executive calls the episode 'upsetting' and says the company is doing its own

police say a man groped a woman from behind and continued walking east. then, around 11 p-m, a second victim say's she was jogging when a man groped her from behind and ran away. there is no clear description of the suspect. (vicki) and san jose state university officials say a man was arrested for inappropriately touching women on campus saturday afternoon. his name and age were not released. officers did not say exactly how many women were assaulted. police are investigating. (catherine) police in east palo alto have arrested a man they say was sexually assaulting women customers at an unregulated massage business. officers say 55-year-old jose plascencia was running the business out of his home on illinois street. he was arrested on sexual assault charges. police believe there are more victims who have not yet come forward. they're asking anyone with information to call the east palo alto police department. (catherine) the arrest of an instructor at a popular san francisco swim school - has

generated 'hundreds' of phone calls from worried parents. prosecutors argued in court today - that nicholas hodges poses a threat to the public... and concerns from the parents should not be ignored. the 28-year-old was arrested last week after police found hundreds of photos of child pornography on his computer.... hodges has now been fired as an instructor at la petite baleen swim school.. the school says he had passed a background check. hodges pleaded not guilty today to the charges - and is due back in court next month. (vicki) police say they've located the suspect who sent ransom messages to the family of a missing yuba city college student. officers determined that the suspect was not involved in the disappearance of alycia yeoman. the 20-year-old went missing in yuba city, north of sacramento last thursday. alycia's truck was found near a levee the night she went missing. investigators later found her cell phone and one set of footprints leading away from her truck. yeoman's mom

says she received texts with demands from alycia's kidnappers. authorities are offering a five-thousand dollar reward for information leading to her recovery. classroom this morning where his estranged wife worked as a teacher... and suddenly pulled out a handgun... he shot and killed her before shooting and killing himself. two students were injured - and one of them - an 8-year-old boy - died earlier tonight. police say the murder suicide was the result of a domestic dispute...and the couple was married but were estranged. this was the scene as students were evacuated.... the shooting happened in a special education classroom, which was filled withfirst through third grade students. police say the 2 children who were shot were apparently 'not' intended targets...but werestanding behind the teacher. police captain: the children we do not believe were targeted, the entire incident was limited to a single classroom on the school campus. the suspect had come to the classroom to visit, the female, the adult female that was in the classroom. we believe the two children were the unfortunate recipients of injuries in by being in proximity to the female at the time of the incident.father of student i fell to my knees and started saying our

several children who live in his pinole home. on march 30th, police arrested ruben gonzalez at his house ... after receiving a report of suspected child molestation. officers took custody of a number of juveniles who were living at the home. they say, four children were victims of gonzalez... and were also his family members. the 60-year-old allegedly abused them from the ages of four- through 17. gonzalez is currently in custody .. he is being held on a $46- thousand dollar bail. (vicki) the identity of the fourth person who died in an oakland building fire last month has been released. investigators had to track down his father in nigeria. the alameda county coroner's office says 36-year-old olatunde adejumobi died in the fire.a burning candle started the fire in the three-story building for recovering addicts and people who had been homeless.adejumobi, who died from smoke inhalation, was identified by a fingerprint.the fire occurred three days after city building

inspectors found multiple fire code violations ( vicki ) a victoria's secret in the east bay has become a hot target for thieves. the store was hit four times over the weekend. newark police say thieves struck twice on saturday and two more times on sunday at the newpark mall. each time they grabbed merchandise and then dashed out of the door to the parking lot. back in march some women pulled off a similar theft at the store... making off with 6- thousand dollars worth of goods. thus far... no arrests have been made in either case and we haven't heard whether or not they are connected. but police say the do have descriptions of the suspects and getaway car from this weekend. ( vicki ) new york has become the first state to offer free tuition for in state students, but there is a catch. while they can go to state schools, they will have to pick up the costs if they decide to live on campus. and there is one more

thing. the students must remain in state following graduation for the same number of years they received funding. if they leave, they have to be repay the state in the form of a loan. only students from families whose income is no more than 125- thousand are eligible. you may recall, the city college of san francisco will state offering free tuition. but, it is only for students who live in san francisco. also the ciyt will help cover the cost of books for low-income students in the next school year. c-c-s-f has struggled in recent years after it nearly lost its accreditation. ( pam ) a big story tonight: united is doing damage control after a viral video shows a passenger being dragged off a plane.( vicki ) it happened last night as the flight was about to leave chicago for louisville. andy rose with our partners at c-n-n has the dramatic video and what led to this confrontation. united passengers were horrified sunday night as they saw three chicago airport police officers board a plane and yank a man from his seat after the flight was overbooked.the man's head hit the arm rest and blood flowed from his mouth as he was pulled down the aisle. witnesses say the flight crew was trying to free up seats for united airlines employees the airline didn't get any volunteers, so its computers picked which passenger to kick off. families and unaccompanied minors were given priority to keep their seats. (((read over graphic)))in a statement united said the flight, "was overbooked. normally when this occurs, passengers are asked to voluntarily give up their seats for compensation, and

the situation is resolved. however, this was not the case on sunday night's flight and united was forced into an involuntary de-boarding situation.the backlash so fierce that the airline's ceo was forced to respond tweeting...
