(catherine) you know it's another bad day for united when even the white house isweighing in on what happened. while apparently ruling out any kind of federal investigation.... spokesman seanspicer still made it clear that he thought the video was 'troubling.'sean spicer/white house press secretary: i think clearly, watching another human being dragged down an aisle, watching blood coming from their face after hitting an arm rest and whatever -- i don't think there's a circumstance that you can sit back and say this probably could have been handled a little bit better, when you're talking about another human being. but, again, i don't think it is my place to get in the middle of judging how a company dealt with this. i think there's clearly going to be enough review both on a corporate side and then on a law enforcement side on how this was handled.

(catherine) quickly losing altitude today -- united stock.the cost of dragging that man off the overbooked flight is adding up for the company. there was a nearly 3-percent sell-off today.....which wiped nearly 600-million dollars off the airline's market value. so it's not simply a public relations firestorm........it's so far proving to be really 'expensive' for the company. at one point the shares were down even lower.....briefly erasing nearly one billion dollars in market value. (vicki) we're learning more about the man who was caught on cell phone video being dragged off of a united airlines flight after he refused to give up his seat. the attorney who is represent david dao says his client is still being treated tonight at a chicago hospital for injuries he sustained during the incident. he says the family - 'wants the world to know that they are very appreciate of the outpouring of prayers, concern and support they have received. the 69-year-old is a kentucky physician - who said he needed to get home to treat patients. dao was

(catherine) the incident is raising questions on the overbooking policy used by united. the department of transportation says that overbooking is not illegal. in fact - almost every major airline often overbooks - with the exception of jetblue. kron four news talked with an aviation and travel expert for more insight..chris mcginnis, travelskills.com:"typically the normal way to handle an overbooking situation you negotiate all of this before anyone gets on the plane so the fact that they let everybody get on the plane and then asked people to get off is unusual but not completely uncommon. it does happen. airlines always do the math and they estimate how many people won't show up for that flight and then they oversell that flight in order to keep every single seat full and maximize their prophets." (catherine) he says the department of
