people were in a white honda when another vehicle came up alongside and started shooting at the car. two people were hurt and taken to the hospital. the southbound lane was closed while they investigated. those lanes have since reopened. we will have the latest on the victims.ç perhaps they can start to stack up and there will be some wins because the season has started miserably. >> it is not even and even year it is really tough for the giants. the team has been dealing with a lot of injuries. >> bruce has suffered some health issues as well. they have opened with the reds tonight.

two men have been busted for child pornography in san francisco... and one of the suspects works for u-c-s-f. police say 36 year-old billy lockhart used the wi-fi at work to upload images. he is a psychiatrist for u-c-s-f. investigators seached his home and say they found hundreds of images on media devices. they also arrested a roommate, 33- year-old benjamin martin. police say martin also had hundreds of images of child pornography stored on media devices. try to make the city more affordable for teachers. there are a number of stories of teachers who work in san francisco ... having to travel long distances ... because they have been priced out of the city. so, the city is spending more than 40-million dollars to create housing for them. in fact, the first project will open up 135- units specifically for teachers. the city will need to adopt measures which allows them to qualify for affordable housing. the mayor acknowledges, it is time for the city to step up and do something. the first project will be in the outer sunset .. but it could be a while before it is ready. it needs to be built and officials say it might not be ready until 2022.

(steve) today governer jerry brown announced a revised budget plan for the year. one revision is the witholding of 50 million dollars from the university of california's budget.. brown says auditors found the university hid tens of millions of dollars in reserve accounts..and over paid administraters the governor also says he wants to spend more on grade-level schools and childcare.. he says an improved outlook would allow for one-point-five billion dollars more in spending next year. the new fiscal year starts on july first. the experts continue to try to figure out.. exactly what went wrong at the oroville dam spillway back in february.... and how to make sure the problems do not happen again.. today - there was a public hearing into the findings of a team of investigators.. catherine heenan is here with details... new video has come out showing an attack on some police officers in davis. it happened a few weeks ago during the annual "picnic day" on the u-c davis campus.( pam ) the celebration draws tens of thousands of people.. but this one got rowdy. and now there are questions

(steve) several great white sharks spotted in shallow waters off the southern california coast have prompted a new shark advisory off long
