police were called to 85th avenue and international boulevard for reports of gunshots. when officers arrived they found a man and woman who had been shot. both were pronounced dead at the scene. the identities of the victims have not yet been released. oakland officers are asking anyone with information on the shooting or a gunman to call police. (grant) a coroner in the north bay has pleaded not guilty to a series of felony and misdemeanor charges of sex crimes with a young girl. darrell harris...marin county's deputy coroner... is charged with several different child sex crimes dating back to 2008...and continuing until earler this year. santa rosa's police department is handling the case because harris often works with marin county law enforcement agencies. the 46-year-old from san rafael has worked in the marin county coroner's office for 15 years... harris posted 750-thousand dollar bail and was released. he's is on paid administrative leave and will be back in court later this

year-old year old victim was filmed in a bathroom stall after cross country practice - by a fellow athlete. the girl who shot the video then posted it on social media... but it was not discovered untiapril. the teen was suspended for three days - but was then allowed to return to class. the parents of the victim criticzed school officials for not doing enough to punish the teen. today - the school district announced she will no longer be allowed to return to the san ramon valley school district. (vicki) in livermore... police are dealing with a major problem... a string of car rip-offs. in the first five months of this year... 165 vehicles have been stolen... 48 of the stolen cars were found in livermore and 98 were found throughout the bay area and the central valley. so far police have arrested 13 different people for stealing or possessing stolen vehicles. the livermore police department is working with the community to reduce the problem. forced an apartment complex to evacuate. the fire started just after five during commute time and stopped traffic for hours.. you can see how close the fire got to the backyard of this complex on pennsylvania way. a metal fence was the only thing standing between the fire and the homes. p eople we talked to who live in the area... say they first noticed the smoke. a small mudslide - the result of a water main break in the belmont hills earlier this morning. the flowing watecaused quite a mess in backyards and on the streets before the water was eventually turned off.(vicki) the broken water main is located between two homes on monserat avenue -- just above monte cresta drive and san juan boulevard. kron four's philippe djegal reports water has been restored in the area... but the broken main still needs to be fixed. stop... gushing water flowed downhill, covering san juan boulvard and parts of monte cresta drive...no name/no face/renter- "i woke up my wife and said get the kids out and move them to the front of the house." that's the voice of the man who lives in this home on san juan... which suffered the most damage. the water main break was reported just after 3-30 in the morning... and, by six o'clock, the mid-peninsula water district says 120-thousand gallons of water had been lost... bringing plants and a lot of mud down the hill. just look at what happened to the man's backyard.no name/no face/renter- "i thought we were getting a really good storm." i can only stand here for a few seconds before my feet start to sink in... and, just check out these chairs... swallowed up by this mud. this entire backyard is covered up by it. pam kawaguchi/lives along broken main- "a lot of damage happened in two hours." pam kawaguchi lives uphill on monserat avenue... she says the broken main is between her house and a neighbor''s. the neighbor's driveway has been taped off because the water district is concerned about

the foundation underneath it and the home. kawaguchi and other neighbors were upset it took so ng for the water district to turn the water off and stop the flow.patrick halleran/belmont pd- "they can't just turn it off like you'd turn off your kitchen facet, because, uh, that can cause, uh, the line to fail in another location, so they have to turn it down incrementally and they have to turn it down, using several valves in the area." by noon, water was eventually restored to all 20 customers... but not before the flow dug a five-foot trench in pam's backyard. the water district says the main break was six-inches...pam kawaguchi/lives along broken main- "they still need to figure out what part of it is broken and where they can fix it and it they're going to need to dig up, uh, some driveways and some streets around here to fix it." the failed cast iron pipe was installed in the 1950s... it's unclear why it broke. for now, the family living here will stay in a hotel until the house and this situation is deemed safe. in belmont, philippe djegal, kron four news.

(vicki) repairs began on potholes in the richmond district today.. for months residents have been concerned with the growing number of potholes popping up in the neighborhood. a local supervisor launched a project recently that enlisted the help of the public to identifying each and every pothole. after weeks of input public works crews are finally bringing out the repairs kits.. in fact there's now a team dedicated to repairing the potholes in the richmond district for the entire month of june. thanks to a program, kids were able to see their dads up close and celebrate an early father's day. there was one catch.... as kron four's terisa estacio explains. (terisa estacio)early in the morning the buses rolled through the gates of san quentin - one of the states toughests prisons, including housing death row inmates. some of these kids had gotten up around 2am to get here. nats -prison gate shutting - and this is what it was all about - front and center with their dads. nats - ugh. meet fernando junior, his uncle, marcos and his dad, fernando senior. besides the prison uniform you might think there was nothing unusual about this family get together sitting playing chess. but fernando has been behind bars since 2011 for assault and battery. this meet up is part of a program started 17 years ago by the state to help nuture the bonds between children and their incarcerated parents. this year, 52 buses will bring nearly 1200 children to various prisons. fernando lopez, jr. "this is my 3rd time, and it may be my last. more on that in a moment. over here, this hayward family has it's own unique story. eric moody, senior. i have not seen this young one ever. denise moody, i had some issues, couldn't see him for years, but now we are here

quickly closed lin's buffet. health officials say, lin's buffet has a history of complaints and violations. (vicki) a historic church in berkeley, that went up in flames back in october - is set to reopen this weekend. this is video from that fire - at the first congregationalist church on channing way. the fire had started near a brick chimy - and investigators have yet to release a cause. however on sunday, first congregationalist church will offer services for the first time since the fire. services will be held from 10 to 11 a-m... and a coffee hour will then be held. firefighters who worked to put out the fire - will also be there. (vicki) the fda is recalling certain imported frozen tuna cubes and steaks after testing positive with hepatitis a virus. hawaii-based hilo fish company says their yellowfin tuna tested positive for the virus last month. several of the products were distributed in

(grant) california could be saying good-bye to day light saving time... the house passed the bill this week that would repeal the 67-year-old day light saving time act... the bill is now heading to the senate. it would give lawmakers the option to keep california on standard or day light saving time year round. a similar bill failed last year.. some think keeping the state on a single time would harm businesses. if it passes the senate..it would become a ballot measure on the next statewide election for voters to have the final say. arizona and hawaii are the only states that do not take part in daylight saving time.. (vicki) nine hedgehogs had to be rescued - after they were found in a trash can. san diego county officials found about 15 palm-sized animals in trash bags and thrown away. unfortunately, 6 did not make it. however, the survivors are now in good condition. it is illegal to possess hedgehogs in california.... and the owner could face animal cruelty charges. a 3-thousand dollar reward is now being offered - to find the person reponsible. the hedgehogs will be sent to facilities in other states where they can be adopted.
