breakfast downtown willow glen with a cousin and when we came back there was a little trail of debris but no real and less than a mile away is mary i was away for a few days and came home and saw this cameilla bush hacked and at frist i thought my husband did it then i thought maybe no he wouldn't do anything that crazy and if you havent figured it out by now, there is a common thread with nick, greg, and mary they all have been victims of plant thieves . at nicks home they were after the kangaroo paw, these are these tall plants here they are native to australia now over at gregs home not only did they cut off branches it put the tree at risk of dying this plat was in shock so we are now in kind of a triage mode because half of the tree is gone half of the camellia and its 20 years old my mother and grandmother planted this tree.so you heard of package thieves and shoe bandits now you can add plant and tree thieves to the list. the interesting part is everyone i spoke with has a sneaky supicision whey the plants are being stolen some of the people have told to my wife and what we learned
6:38 am
subsequently is that it could be because plats which are originally from china are valued for their green leaves their deep green leaves so people during wedding, people during graduations people doing what ever kind of festival they prise this floral display .so basically is someone is selling you festive plants for you wedding or graduation and the price seems to goo to be true . question where they came from oh and one more thing. if they needed them that bad they could have just asked . when i left i have a hand full of oranges from nick lemons and aloe vera plants from greg. and my favoritefresh sage from mary .. i might have to revisit willow glen neighborhood ..in san jost stanley roberts kron 4 news ( daa ) coming up... at least 15-thousand new jobs could be coming to the south
