( james ) our top story this morning... we are learning more about the victims killed in a shooting rampage at a san francisco ups facility. the gunman has been identifed as jimmy lam. he opened fire killing three people before turning the weapon on himself. kron4's j.r stone has thelatest on the investigation. sot this was a frightful scene the san francisco assitant police chief describing what it looked like after a gunman walked into the ups customer service center and opened fire. sot the suspect is deceased as are three of the shooting victimstwo other people were hurt. officers say the shots rang out around 9 wednesday morning. police have

identified the shooter as jimmy lam. a man dressed in a ups unifrom at the time of the killings. officers say at one point they confronted lam. sotlocated suspecthe put gun to his head and discharged the weaponhe was pronounced dead immediately after that. we can confirm that lam had filed an overtime grievance. f.b.i agents spent wednesday afternoon searching lam's home in the inner richmond district of san francisco. as for the victims.mike lefitipictured here and two others were killed. in fact this man, who doesn't speak english, and works at a day spa near the shooters home says he didn't know the gunmanbut he did know the two other victims50 year old benson louie and 56 year old wayne chan. they were clients at his job who were good people and had families. ( james ) one of the victim's of the shooting is

being remembered for his big smile and big heart. people who knew 46-year-old mike lefiti who was a u-p-s drivier for over 15 years had nothing but good things to say about him. we're told lefiti was a dedicated family man who was very well liked. but many just can't believe he's gone. ( james ) a family member has setup a go-

fund me account in mike's honor.at last check more than 37-hundred dollars has been raised. ( james ) at least two shooting victims are being treated at san francisco general hospital. police could be seen coming and going from the hospital yesterday. at times escorting unmarked cars to the entrance. we have also seen people comforting each other but they declined to speak. ( james ) we're also hearing from the mayor of san francisco on the shooting. he says the city is ready to help. take a listen. ( james ) u-p-s released this statement about the shooting: "the company is saddened and deeply concerned about affected employees, family members and the community we share. " a representative from u-p-s also spoke saying, the company is bringing in counselors to help employees deal with what happened.

antioch j-c-penny store tuesday night according to fire investigators.. it happened around six at the store on slatten ranch road. eleven people said they were having trouble breathing. two of whom were taken to the hospital. the building was evacuated and inspected by hazmat crews. they gave the all clear at about 9:30- that night. all the people affected are expected to be okay. still no word on where the pepper spray originated . ( james ) the traditional "senior prank" got out of control this year at irvington high school in fremont. a group of soon- to- be graduating seniors is being blamed for vandalism and graffiti. and as kron4's rob fladeboe reports -- that includes a "swastika". mostly scrubbed clean, you can still make out the large, offensive swastikia and other graffiti that was scrawled on pavement in the courtyard here at irvington high school. and you can still see traces of the flour and oil that was

according to the post that changed after comey's firing. yesterday mueller met with the republican and democratic leadership of the senate intelligence committee. no word on what topics were discussed. the new report comes the same week a friend of president trump's, floated the possibility the president would fire mueller. ( mark ) four people are dead including the gunman after an employee opened fire at a u-p-s center in san francisco. this morning we are learning more about the victims and the gunamn in the shooting. the shooting happened at around nine a-m near 17th and utah street. a u-p-s spokesman says an employee fired inside the building before the drivers were sent out to do their daily deliveries. the gunman, jimmy lam, shot and killed three people and injured two others. after the rampage he turned the gun on himself. union officials say he had recently filed a grievance with the company. one u-p-s employee who witnessed the deadly shooting said he had to run for his life.

( james ) one of the victim's of the shooting is being remembered for his big smile and big heart. people who knew 46-year-old mike lefiti who was a u-p-s drivier for over 15 years had nothing but good things to say about him. we're told lefiti was a dedicated family man who was very well liked. but many just can't believe he's gone.

he's gone. i'm going to wake up tomorrow and not believe this is real.">( james ) a family member has setup a go- fund me account in mike's honor. at last check more than 37-hundred dollars has been raised. condition this morning after a shooting in alexandria, virginia. we first broke this story to you yesterday in the kron four morning news. it happened yesterday just before five a-m during an early morning practice for a republicans' charity baseball game. two capitol police officers, a congressional aide and a lobbyist were also injured in the shooting. they are expected to be okay. the gunman was shot and killed by police. he is identified as 66-year-old james t hodgkinson. he is a former volunteer for senator bernie sanders' presidential campaign. his social media is filled with anti-trump sentiment. senator sanders spoke out against the actions yesterday saying he is quote, "sickened by this despicable act." one g-o-p representative says he was approached in the parking lot before the shooting.

prevented that and my family and i will be forever grateful. the thin blue line held today...">( mark ) the f-b-i has not yet released a motive for the shooting. president trump made a surprise visit to the hospital last night. the charity game scheduled for tonight at nationals park is expected to still go on. ( james ) breaking news from overnight... the death toll from a deadly apartment fire in london rose to 17. dozens of people are still recovering and the death toll is expected to rise. the fire broke out early yesterday morning. about 125 families were inside the building sleeping when the fire broke out. fire officials are still trying to figure out how the fire ( mark ) some seniors at irvington high school in fremont are being blamed for causing major vandalism and graffiti. it happened on sunday when about fifty seniors came onto the campus. the traditional senior prank quickly got out of control. a large swastika and other graffiti was scrawled on the pavement. oil and flour was dumped in the hallways. pipes and other debris was tossed into the pool along with profanity

spray painted on the walls. the school principal says door locks were even jammed with clay. the entire senior class had to clean up the mess. a handful of seniors are being held accountable for the ( lydia ) still ahead on the kron four morning news... i will have tips on the best ways to get to the parade.( mark ) and... we will take a look back at some of the biggest moments from the warriors championship season. including curry's record breaking day.... that's after the break.

( mark ) one of the biggest moments from the warriors season is when golden state signed kevin durant. he made the decision on july 4th last year. this is video of the k-d signage going up outside of oracle arena shortly after the announcement durant signed a two-year 54 million dollar agreement with the warriors. it's considered one of the greatest acquisitions in n-b-a history. ( mark ) and there was a lot of backlash when k-d came to the warriors. this is video as he returned to oklahoma city for the first time. there was a lot of talk about the relationship between durant and former teammate russel westbrook.

they did not speak for much of the season... but the latest report says they are on speaking terms again. westbrook signed a contract extension with the thunder shortly after durant left for the warriors. ( mark ) and the return had one major theme.... "cupcake" signs were all over the arena this was in reference to an instagram post russell westbrook made after durant signed with the warriors intimating durant was a "cupcake" for leaving the thunder. steph curryand draymond green got into the joke wearing the cupcake t-shirts after the game. durant's mom also got into the act. wearing a cupcake t-shirt of her own with the caption "after this tough & crazy weekend, i realized how much i love a great!!! cupcake" < "we did it. i told you when i was eight years old, we did it!" you hear me? look at me! you did it!>( james ) kevin durant won his

first n-b-a championship on monday night and his mother wanda was by his side. the superstar forward agreed to join the warriors back in july. when he was on the oklahoma city thunder, k-d won the regular season m-v-p award back in 20-14. in one of the most memorable m-v-p speeches of all time, durant thanked his mother for being there. ( james ) wanda was in tears again monday night as she was by k-d's side right after the game to help him

celebrate his first nba title and the finals m-v-p award.
