(hermela aregawi)tonight - five year old mayalyia booker is still missing.around 3:15 this afternoon - her grandmother called police to report that her mother, 34 year old laquita davis ran off with the litle girl.police say davis has diminished capacity. tasha slaughter/neighbor:i really hope that it is that the child is found perfectly safe and unharmed and also the mother that she can get whatever help that she may need that this doesn't happen again.police say davis doesn't drive - and the evidence suggests she fled on foot. sgt andrew frankel/berkeley pd spokesman: right now it appears as though two of the three dogs that potentially that ms. davis got on bart with the little girl. so we're working with bart pd to review video and we are asking members of the community to keep their eyes peeled for ms. davis and ms. booker.until about 9 this evening, more than a half a dozen police cruisers were at the family's

year old cousin broke her leg injured her back. and they're the lucky ones...both out of the hosptial. the little boy they we're helping cross...4 or 5 years old...is still in children's hospital oakland with spinal injuries. it really is a nightmare. ( marty ) we are learning new details about the man who died in a plane crash in sonoma county. 38-year-old william sachs goldman was part of a well- known philanthropic family in san francisco. his grandmother was a descendent of levi strauss, and along with his grandfather were known to donate millions of dollars to charities nationwide. friends say goldman followed in his families footsteps. he was with his two children and nanny on the private plane when it took off from the sonoma skypark airport and crashed on wednesday. investigators are still working on finding the what caused the crash. cats in a san jose neighborhood - has been sentenced to nearly two - decades behind bars. the judge gave robert farmer the maxium sentence saying farmer's victims were vulnerable, and called him a danger to the community. back in the fall of 2015 farmer killed as many as 16 cats from the cambrian park neighborhood. last october the 25-year-old pleaded guilty to 20- counts of animal cruelty. ( marty ) in gilroy... a mother is speaking out after a pellet gun shattered her window, and struck her 7-year-old daughter. julie oxley was traveling on highway 101 with her daughter earlier this week. while crossing the intersection of santa teresa boulevard and fitzgerald avenue someone fired a shot. her daughter was nicked by the pellet on the ear. now oxley is concerned about safety while driving in rural areas.

( marty ) in the south bay... san jose police are investigating a package theft caught on camera. san jose resident heidi burrows was driving up to her house wednesday evening when she discovered a couple attempting to steal a package that was left on her porch. burrows confronted the couple, and the pair threw the package out of their car. now police surveillance video from burrows to catch the suspects. no arrest have been made at this time. inspectors are still investigating what caused the fire at the commercial building in lafayette wednesday night.. the contra costa county fire marshall says the building that housed nine different businesses is a complete loss. the conditions were still so hazardous on thursday that crews were ánotá able to go into the site.. the fire caused a little over one million dollars in damages. ( marty ) the wall fire that has been burning in butte county for over a week is now 96-percent contained.. the fire has destroyed more than 40 homes and 50 other buildings. it also burned through more than six thousand acres.. all of the evacuation orders and road closures have been lifted.. no injuries were reported. ( marty @ landing) those who have lost their homes in the wall fire are now being warned about scammers.. these signs are now up around the county.. contractors

it can also be effective for a person who is going through an opioid overdose. ( marty ) take look at this... a truck hauling over 75-hundred pounds of live hagfish also known as slime eels overturned and turned the whole area into a slimy mess. it happened in oregon. police say the flat bed detached from the truck and flew across the highway causing a chain reaction crash. you can see the damaged cars covered in the gooey mess. the fire department had to use a bulldozer to clear the eels from from the highway. police say when the hagfish become stressed, they secrete a slime which turns into foam. the slime eels were going to be shipped to korea. turning up the heat this weekend, with a heat advisory in place for much of the bay...your forecast is next !

cruz county health officials say a dead infected crow was discovered inside near the intersection of morrissey boulevard and soquel drive. officials say the virus is primarily transmitted through mosquito bites. last year more than 4-hundred cases were reported statewide and 19 people died. so far this year four cases have been reported. ( marty ) we are learning new details about the man who died in a plane crash in sonoma county. 38-year-old william sachs goldman was part of a well- known philanthropic family in san francisco. his grandmother was a descendent of levi strauss, and along with his grandfather were known to donate millions of dollars to charities nationwide. friends say goldman followed in his families footsteps. he was with his two children and nanny on the private plane when it took off from the sonoma skypark airport and crashed on wednesday. investigators are still working on finding the what caused the crash. ( marty ) the search is on for whoever left a sick dog áabandoned outside of an aminal shelter in martinez.

( marty ) in the south bay... a man who admitted to stealing and killing more than a dozen cats in a san jose neighborhood - has been sentenced to nearly two - decades behind bars. the judge gave robert farmer the maxium sentence saying farmer's victims were vulnerable, and called him a danger to the community. back in the fall of 2015 farmer killed as many as 16 cats from the cambrian park neighborhood. last october the 25-year-old pleaded guilty to 20- counts of animal cruelty. ( marty ) fire crews and inspectors are still investigating what caused the fire at the commercial building in lafayette wednesday night.. the contra costa county fire marshall says the building that housed nine different businesses is a complete loss. the conditions were still so hazardous on thursday that crews were ánotá able to go into the site.. the fire caused a little over one million dollars in damages. ( marty ) the wall fire that has been burning in butte county for over a week is now 96-percent contained.. the fire has destroyed more than 40 homes and 50 other buildings. it also burned

take look at this... a truck hauling over 75-hundred pounds of live hagfish also known as slime eels overturned and turned the whole area into a slimy mess. it happened in oregon. police say the flat bed detached from the truck and flew across the highway causing a chain reaction crash. you can see the damaged cars covered in the gooey mess. the fire department had to use a bulldozer to clear the eels from from the highway.
