looking for another job. a person using the twitter handle 'yes you're racist' has been putting names to faces of some of the people who took part in the white nationalist event. cole white was also linked as an employee of the berkeley fast food chain, top dog. the company says they talked to white after being alerted of his involvement and he voluntarily resigned. one longtime customer of the popular hot dog stand says he was shocked to hear that someone he'd seen for years was connected with an event championing white supremacy. "i'm going to top dog a long time and i seen the dude i don't know anything about it really but he has been working here for a few years to use those i have recognize him. is soon as i have seen the picture i was like i bought a hotdog from that guy that was crazy you never know who people are what they do or what they do like this until you see something like this" (catherine) the company posted signs in their windows - saying that the company does not supportthe actions of those in charlottesville.

on i-880 near lewelling boulevard. the c-h-p shut down the southbound lanes for hours to investigate. kron four's terisa estacio tells us who police are looking for. it was a very violent situation out on interstate 880 monday morning - it was around 2:30 when chp says they receved a call of violence on 880 then shots fired... joe fowler, chp. our officer found a blue sedan and injured driver. the driver had been shot in the head - the other three passengers told the chp officer that people in a white vehicle had opened fire on them as they were traveling down the freeway. it is unclear right now whether this was a case of road rage or if the people in the blue vehicle were the intended target - chp says they are looking for the white vehicle right now. fowler. if you know something call us. they are pulling video from traffic cameras to see if they can find a license plate. for more than 5 hours 880 shut down right the lwelling exit. but around 9am i twas re opened. terisa estacio kron four news

(grant) also happening now... five people were injured last night during a drive by shooting in east san jose. police received a call just before 10-30 pm about the shooting on vista glen drive near alfred way. three men and two women were injured during a vigil for two people recently killed in a car crash. according to one neighbor-- people who knew the victims of the car crash

have been coming around the area for the past week. that neighbor says these people have been drinking and doing drugs... and have been a nuisance to other neighbors. (catherine) happening now. a four-year old girl is recovering after being shot at a stockton gas station. the little girl - named ee- yah-nah-lee - was hit several times by bullets saturday night. her father says he arrived at the united gas station around 8-pm - and that's when someoneshot at their car. witnesses say an employee yelled at them to take cover...but it was too late. (sot) "i heard them go get in here, get in here, so i thought they were just getting out of the way you know. i didn't know a little girl got hit til today." the suspect's car took

(grant) a warning before you park your car at east bay bart stations. yesterday there were two car burglaries. the first break-in happened at the dublin- pleasanton station. police say the burglar smashed the front window of a pickup truck and stole a backpack and laptop. at the pittsburg-bay point station another suspect broke-in and stole and empty pursue. no word if the burglaries are connected. over the last month their been a string of burglaries across bart stations in the east bay. (grant) in napa county... the canyon fire burning in near lake berryessa is now 95- percent contained. fire officials lifted all evacuation warnings... and all the roads in the area have been reopened. the fire started friday near highway 128 and sage canyon road - on

(grant) another big story we are tracking tonight at five. a car rams into a pizzeria near paris killing one person - and seriously injuring several others. the vehicle plowed through the restaurant entrance. the driver was quickly arrested. a young girl was killed, four others are in serious condition - and eight other suffered minor injuries. france's interior ministry says the suspect was apparently suicidal and the incident is not believed to be linked to terrorism. (edward french's sister): "the judge is responsibe for my brother's death as the people that murdered him... she did not do her job. because based on the facts, and the facts are very clear, he was a felon arrested with guns and he should not have been allowed on the streets of san francisco." was killed at twin peaks last month.(grant) the suspects accused of killing french - fantasy decuir and lamonte mims-- pleaded not guilty in court today. french's family wants to know why mims was not behind bars at the time of the murder. two weeks before the shooting-- mims was charged with felony possession of a firearm. at that time he was on felony probation for auto burglary in san mateo county and misdemeanor probation for receiving stolen property in san francisco. san francisco's public defender says that based on the risk assessment process-- the judge followed protocol. (grant) the two people accused of killing a man at twin peaks in san francisco last month... plead not guilty in court today. 19-year-old lamonte mims and 20-year-old fantasy decuir have been charged with the murder of ed french. french's family wants to know why mims was not behind bars at the time of the murder. two weeks before the shooting-- mims was charged with felony possession of a firearm. at that time he was on felony probation for auto burglary in san mateo county and misdemeanor probation for receiving stolen property in san francisco. public defender jeff adachi.... says that based on the risk assessment process-- the judge followed protocol.

c-h-p got a report that shots had been fired on 880 near lewelling boulevard in san leandro around 2-30 am. authorities say the driver was shot in the head. the other three passengers told the officer that people in a white car had opened fire on them as they were traveling down the highway. (joe fowler/chp officer): "we have four occupants who are spanish speaking, young males out of the hayward area. and initial reports are that it was a white vehicle. we haven't confirmed a make or model at this point. and it actually had multiple occupants in the vehicle." it's not clear whether this was a case of road rage -- or even if the people in the car were being specifically targeted. the c-h-p is pulling video from traffic cameras to see if they can find a license plate. highway 880 was shut down for more than five hours... it reopened around nine am. in the south bay- five people were injured last night during a drive by shooting in east san jose.

kron4's lydia pantazes spoke to people who live near by. police are investigating after five people were injured in a drive-by shooting in san jose sunday night, according to san jose police department. around 10:27 p.m. officers responded to the 1700 block of vista glen dr., police said.at the scene officers found one woman and four men, all suffering from at least one gunshot wound.all victims were taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life- threatening, according to police.a witness tells kron4 that he was watching t.v. when he heard gunshots outside of his home.he says he heard screaming and went outside, where neighbors were in a panic.video obtained by kron4 shows four separate victims being loaded into ambulances. the video also shows crime scene tape, evidence markers, and officers searching the area.police say no suspects have been identified.

how president trump is handling the situation. congressman desaulnier - this is where having a president who doesn't listen to professional advisors and has an ego that makes him thinkhe knows how to handle every situation best - even though he doesn't have any depth or understanding of it. it's very dangerous for this country. so we in congress have to be a co- equal branch. republicans and democrats. and hold him accountable it all areas. particularly foreign affairs, actually domestic affairs too. what he's doing i think is dangerous and wrong. a seven-year-old girl swimming in shasta lake was killed after getting hit by a jet ski over the weekend.the girl was swimming behind a house boat saturday when 29 year old phong ly on a rented jet ski, hit the girl and the houseboat. the girl was rushed to the hospital but later died from her injuries.deputies say ly was driving at unsafe speeds. the shasta county sheriff's office says the girl's death is still under investigation. earlier this summer, a 12 year old and a 7 year old both died on the lake. a verdict tonight - in a civil case involving taylor swift. we'll have details.
