few details about the counselor but next to nothing about about the victims because they were minors at the time of the alleged sexual misconduct. 36-year-old tricia caparra was arrest by santa clara county sheriff's deputies at her home in santa cruz. she is facing 17 counts of sexual assault, 14 of which are felonies. she is accused of sexually assaulting the two boys while they were housed here at the county's william f. james boys ranch juvenile correctional facility where they get vocational training and tutoring. in a statement, chief probation officer laura garnette said that..."we were appalled to learn of this employee's alleged abuse of a minor in our care and we have worked closely with the sheriff and district attorney to ensure they have the information necessary to investigate and prosecute this

individual..." the statement goes on to say that "..this employee violated the trust placed in our department and will not be tolerated....and that the department remains committed to providing exemplary care to our youth..." off camera, two visitors to the boys ranch expressed shock over the allegations, which first surfaced a year ago this month, touching off an internal investigation. tricia caparra also faces one felony charge for unlawful access to privileged information related to one of the victims. (rob live) no information was released about whether there may be other victims, only that the investigation is on going. the counselor resigned in july. if convicted she faces a maximum sentence of 11 years in prison. (grant) a registered sex offender has been arrested after entering a girls bathroom... at an elementary school in santa rosa. on tuesday,

police say 39-year-old alan brels-ford was caught in the bathroom at redwood adventist academy elementary school. officers say he wasn't able to give a good explanaion as to what he was doing on campus. that's when the school called police. he was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor offense but has since bailed out. in 2006, brels-ford was caught exposing himself at an all-girls high school in sacramento. police are now asking the community to report brelsford... if he is seen acting suspiciously around children. (catherine) a 21-year-old rohnert park woman has been arrested on suspicion of sending lewd material to a boy in arkansas. officers arrested 21-year-old ashley zimmer... that's after police say the mother of a 12- year-old boy found nude photos of an adult on her son's phone. police say zimmer met the boy on x-box live last month... and began exchanging photos on social media.

zimmer told investigators that she's worked at ymca programs at richard crane elementary school in rohnert park. "....suspect in custody" (catherine) officers say zimmer also provided babysitting services for young children through care-dot-com... but they do not believe there are any victims as a result of the babysiting service. (grant) a student in san jose...is recovering after being stabbed at a high school. it happened this mornign around 9 am... police say the student was

stabbed behind the gymnasium at overfelt high school. the boy was traken to a local hospital. his injuries are not thought to be life- threatening. police took two people into custody. officers say at least one of the suspects was not an overfelt student. (catherine) and we're following breaking news at this hour... officials at yosemite national park say there's been another major rockslide. time until the shock and terror wears off for a 17- year-old girl in rohnert park... who last night was held up at knife-point. police say around seven last night...a 17-year-old boy broke into a home on meadow pines avenue, thinking no one was home. but someone was. a 17-year-old girl, who ran upstairs, locked herself in a bathroom and called police as soon as she realized the man was inside. the d-p-s says the suspect eventually broke down the bathroom door and held the girl at knifepoint. he then tried to run away when he found out police were outside. he was arrested a short time later. aaron johnson/commander- "who knows what his reaction was going to be if he felt like, um, a-either she was not in contact with law enforcement at the time, or b-if he didn't think he was going to be able to escape." that wasn't even the first crime reportedly committed by the suspect yesterday. police say they also found items reported stolen from two car burglaries earlier that day at

sonoma state university... stuffed in his backpack. investigators say the suspect told detectives he chose the house because it looked dark and secluded. the girl held at knife point was not physically hurt. the suspect's name is not being released because of his age. (grant) police are on the hunt for a man they say carjacked a vehicle this morning in petaluma. it happened around five a.m. on ellis street in the parking lot of mckinley elementary school. there a man approached a woman as she was siting in her carand demanded her keys. and after the woman refusedpolice say the suspect acted as if he had a gun. as the woman exited her car the suspect threw her to ground before jumping in her 1997 gold toyota avalonand speeding off. police describe the suspect as a black man in his 30's. though no other details are provided. the license plate to that stolen avalon is 6-g-o-n-1-6-1. (catherine) fire crews in san leandro are investigating

a fire at a mobile home senior living community... that killed two people. it happened around 5:30 this morning... at a home in the mission bay mobile home park. kron four's will tran has more details. the fire took only 15 minutes to put out but it was enough time to destroy the home and kill two people.an elderly couple was found in the back of the home.... unable to escape the flames.neighbor alma bryant says they were very popular and loving couple. happened back on september 8th - police have not yet confirmed if the incidents are related. (catherine) antioch police have arrested a woman they accuse of stealing from elderly people at an assisted living center. they arrested 29-year-old antonique bryant yesterday....and say she's the accomplice of 30-year-old shawn morris of richmond...who was arrested earlier this month. the fraud happened in late august at the "aegis" senior community in moraga. police say the two suspects stole checks, credit cards, and debit cards from residents. they don't work at the senior community, and it's not clear tonight how they got in. woman's husband. dash cam video shows her arrest this week... the case was re-opened and new d-n-a evidence was discovered - tying her to the murder. dave aronberg/state attorney the defendant in this case miss sheila keen warren has been indicted for first degree murder with a firearm. the potential penalty in this case is life in prison and potentially the death penalty a announcement on whether or not the death penalty be sought will not be until the defendant is returned to the jurisdiction. this was the scene of the murder in 1990 -- the palm beach home where the victim lived.authorities had actually identified keen as a suspect at the time, but never made an arrest. she had worked for the woman's husband at a car repossession business... patrol cars speeding up meadow pines avenue. minutes later, his wife called saying the rohnert park department of public safety had a home nearby surrounded.dean aquila/neighbor- "told her, lock her doors and stay inside and i'll be back home." and, when he returned at around seven at night... he saw this... a 17-year- old boy under arrest... for allegedly burgarizing a neighbor's home... while a 17-year-old girl was inside that house.dean aquila/neighbo r- "it, it, uh -- it concerns me a bit."aaron johnson/comma nder- "multiple tragedies were averted." commander aaron johnson says the victim locked herself in an upstairs bathroom when she heard the suspect break in. johnson says the suspect used a ladder to climb through a window

after he removed the screen. aaron johnson/commander- "he recognized that the computer did not have a screen saver playing. so, he knew that someone was in the home, um, and then he went on his search for that person." by that time, johnson says the girl was already on the line with dispatch. eventually, johnson says the suspect broke through the bathroom door and held the girl at knifepoint, until he realized police were outside the house.aaron johnson/commander- "had he come into the officers, um, and he had the knife with him, theres a good chance we could have had another critical incident." the suspect was arrested. stolen items from the house and two car burglaries reported earlier in the day were also found in the suspect's backpack. the victim's mother tell us that her daughter was not harmed, but is still shaken up.dean aquila/neighbor- "i can only imagine what's their heads and the fear and whatnot and then future. you know, how they're gong to be comfortable or not in their own home." the suspect was booked in to sonoma county juvenile hall... where he is being held on a list of charges... including home invasion robbery, false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon. in rohnert park, philippe djegal, kron four news. more breaking news tonight: there's been a 'second' major rockslide at yosemite -- just one day aftera slide which killed a man... catherine heenan is here with the latest on both incidents. (catherine) we have new video showing today's huge rockslide....with witnesses

saying it's even bigger than the one that happened yesterday afternoon.. and this new slide -- is in the exact same spot. yesterday's slide was described as being the size of an 'apartment building'... and it killed a british man who had been on el capitan. the woman with him was badly injured. today's slide was also the southeast face of el capitan....and left a giant cloud of dust. tonight - yosemite officials say they've closed one of the exit routes from the park ... people can't believe it's happened again. there's no word yet on whether anyone was injured today.. in wednesday's slide - witnesses say the impact was explosive... witness - it was a tremendous explosion. a lot of smoke. it looked kind of like a bomb exploded. it was just huge. witness - all of a sudden as we were looking up there, there were more rocks that fell. just to the left of where the original rocks had fallen.like bombs going off. it just echoes through the valley. and considering how far away it was - it was very

( steve ) an update tonight on east bay elder abuse story. earlier this month with told you about two suspects accused of stealing from senior residents at aegis living. police quickly captured one man in the case... but a second escaped had been on the running. today we learened the u-s marshals office tracked down and arrested 29-year-old antoinique bryant. we are told they found her in antioch and she is now being held at the contra costa county jail in martinez. ( pam )(2-shot) she is 36 years old, and the two boys she is accused of having sex

withwere 17 and 18 .... and serving time in juvenile detention.( steve ) now, as kron four's rob fladeboe reports, the woman has been arrested and faces multiple felony counts in the case. 36-year-old tricia caparra was arrest by santa clara county sheriff's deputies at her home in santa cruz. she is facing 17 counts of sexual assault, 14 of which are felonies. she is accused of sexually assaulting the two boys while they were housed here at the county's william f. james boys ranch juvenile correctional facility where they get vocational training and tutoring. in a statement, chief probation officer laura garnette said that..."we were appalled to learn of this employee's alleged abuse of a minor in our care and we have worked closely with the sheriff and district attorney to ensure they have the information necessary to investigate and prosecute this individual..." the statement goes on to say that "..this employee violated the trust placed in our department and will not be tolerated....and that the department remains committed to providing exemplary care to our youth..." off camera, two visitors to the boys ranch expressed shock over the allegations, which first surfaced a year ago this month, touching off an internal investigation. tricia caparra also faces one felony charge for unlawful access to privileged information related to one of the victims. rob fladeboe/morgan hill

( steve ) tonight, a picture of the suspect that is at odds with a man wanted for murder. kron four's terisa estacio has been digging into this story for us tonight and joins us from emeryville police department... she spoke to one of the suspect's friends. today - i spoke with a friend of demilo hodge and he said that he is at a loss of words about what happened on freeway wednesday. in this video taken by a kron four viewer - you could hear multiple rounds of gunfire. when it all stopped, this man, de-milo hodge was injured - he later was prounced dead at the hospital. police say hodge lead them on a pursuit, standoff and shootout after they tried to stop him in connection with a murder in fairfield back in 2015.

however, hodge's friends, family paint a very different picture. they describe him as kind, loving, and wouldn't hurt anyone. and there is this, a witness we spoke with told kron four that hodge did not fire first - that it was the officers that ignited the fire storm. here's the friend - brian sayles and that witness. the investigation into who shot first is underway -

police say they have video tape evidence as well as witness statements. the officers involved in the shooting are being interviewed. as for hodge, his business - executive excursion limo service recently won the best small business award in napa. on his website - customers praise his business writing many compliments about the company he ran. emeryville police say it could take months before they have any final results of their investigation into this case. in emeryville, te coming up.. a small child hit by a car and the driver keeps going .. leaving the scene .. we have the latest on the suspect and the condition of the toddler. and a fire turns deadly in the east bay. what we are learning about the investigation as well as the couple that lost their lives. plus, the 49ers hit back hard against the santa clara concert curfew ... and there is big money at stake .. details next.

( steve ) the curfew controversy involving levi's stadium, the 49ers and the city of santa clara has reached a new level tonight.( pam ) the 49ers have fired back at the city .... with a letter that all but pulls the plug on weekday concerts. grant lodes is here to explain. ( grant ) concerts at levi's are big business.. and as we have been telling you... also a sore spot. the curfew mandates that weekday events at levi's need to end by 10 p-m... otherwise there

is a fine. the issue has blown up after a request to extend the curfew for a coldplay concert was denied by the city council. ed sheeran decided to cancel his concert next year over the curfew issue. after meetings between niners management and santa clara city council... there still has been no firm resolution when it comes to doing something about the curfew. so today the 49ers, who manage the stadium, sent a letter to the stadium authority... citing the coldplay concert as well as the cancelation by ed sheeran... the team wrote: "as was noted at public meetings over the last four months and in mr. mercurio's august 29th letter, the stadium manager will not, until directed otherwise, book any future weekday concerts since it is not possible to ensure concerts end at 10:00 p.m. as this is out of line with national tours." so, a strong stance from the 49ers camp. we have not seen a

response from the city of santa clara. as of tonight, next week's coldplay concert will be the last weekday eprformance at levi's. concerts are pretty lucrative... the 49ers have said one big show can bring in up to 800-thousand dollars. pam. (pam) a receptionist at an auto repair shop has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run auto accident yesterday on mcdonald avenue in richmond a three- year-old little boy was injured when the driver of a red smart car hit the child and drove away without stopping. today richmond police investigators learned that the vehicle was not in the owner's possession at the time of the accident... the smart car was at a richmond auto repair shop for maintenance. richmond

police say, the toddler remains in the hospiatl in stable, yet critical condition. the 19-year-old female suspect was arrested for felony hit-and-run. a fire at a mobile home senior living community ...killed two people early this morning in san leandro.. catherine heenan is here with the latest on the victims - and the investigation. (catherine) investigators say there's no indication of criminal activity....and they'restill trying to pinpoint the exact cause of the fire.. the victims - an elderly couple who were apparently trapped in the back of their mobile home and couldn't get out. the fire was reported shortly before 5:30 this morning at the mission bay mobile home park in san leandro. firefighters say there were able to put it out in only about 15 minutes - but it was

still too lateto save the residents. a neighbor says the victims were well known by just about everyone and neighbor - just a very nice couple. her husband was quiet. she was always on the front porch. you'd drive up and she'd come down and give you a hug. she knew everyone's name. her memory was impeccable. she knew all my children's names and they didn't even live here. some other mobile homes had minor damage - but no one has been displaced. san leandro police and alameda county firefighters are working together on the investigation.. pam and steve? (pam) equifax is planning to offer a free credit locking program that it says will last ... for life. credit freezes are currently available to customers in the wake of the credit bureau's massive data breach. equifax said today, it will continue to offer the service. it aims to give customers the ability to restrict access to their credit files for free... until january 2018. that's when the new credit locking and unlocking program is expected to be introduced. the service is described as a no-hassle, safe and free way to protect a customer's equifax credit file for life. this plan comes on the heels of the massive equifax breach that left the personal information of 147- million americans exposed to hackers. in rohnert park... a 17-year-old girl is still shaken after she was held up at knifepoint inside her home wednesday night by an alleged home invader. the suspect
