few details about the counselor but next to nothing about about the victims because they were minors at the time of the alleged sexual misconduct. 36-year-old tricia caparra was arrest by santa clara county sheriff's deputies at her home in santa cruz. she is facing 17 counts of sexual assault, 14 of which are felonies. she is accused of sexually assaulting the two boys while they were housed here at the county's william f. james boys ranch juvenile correctional facility where they get vocational training and tutoring. in a statement, chief probation officer laura garnette said that..."we were appalled to learn of this employee's alleged abuse of a minor in our care and we have worked closely with the sheriff and district attorney to ensure they have the information necessary to investigate and prosecute this

individual..." the statement goes on to say that "..this employee violated the trust placed in our department and will not be tolerated....and that the department remains committed to providing exemplary care to our youth..." off camera, two visitors to the boys ranch expressed shock over the allegations, which first surfaced a year ago this month, touching off an internal investigation. tricia caparra also faces one felony charge for unlawful access to privileged information related to one of the victims. police say 39-year-old alan brels-ford was caught in the bathroom at redwood adventist academy elementary school. officers say he wasn't able to give a good explanaion as to what he was doing on campus. that's when the school called police. he was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor offense but has since bailed out. in 2006, brels-ford was caught exposing himself at an all-girls high school in sacramento. police are now asking the community to report brelsford... if he is seen acting suspiciously around children. (catherine) a 21-year-old rohnert park woman has been arrested on suspicion of sending lewd material to a boy in arkansas. officers arrested 21-year-old ashley zimmer... that's after police say the mother of a 12- year-old boy found nude photos of an adult on her son's phone. police say zimmer met the boy on x-box live last month... and began exchanging photos on social media.

time until the shock and terror wears off for a 17- year-old girl in rohnert park... who last night was held up at knife-point. police say around seven last night...a 17-year-old boy broke into a home on meadow pines avenue, thinking no one was home. but someone was. a 17-year-old girl, who ran upstairs, locked herself in a bathroom and called police as soon as she realized the man was inside. the d-p-s says the suspect eventually broke down the bathroom door and held the girl at knifepoint. he then tried to run away when he found out police were outside. he was arrested a short time later. aaron johnson/commander- "who knows what his reaction was going to be if he felt like, um, a-either she was not in contact with law enforcement at the time, or b-if he didn't think he was going to be able to escape." that wasn't even the first crime reportedly committed by the suspect yesterday. police say they also found items reported stolen from two car burglaries earlier that day at

sonoma state university... stuffed in his backpack. investigators say the suspect told detectives he chose the house because it looked dark and secluded. the girl held at knife point was not physically hurt. the suspect's name is not being released because of his age. (grant) police are on the hunt for a man they say carjacked a vehicle this morning in petaluma. it happened around five a.m. on ellis street in the parking lot of mckinley elementary school. there a man approached a woman as she was siting in her carand demanded her keys. and after the woman refusedpolice say the suspect acted as if he had a gun. as the woman exited her car the suspect threw her to ground before jumping in her 1997 gold toyota avalonand speeding off. police describe the suspect as a black man in his 30's. though no other details are provided. the license plate to that stolen avalon is 6-g-o-n-1-6-1. a fire at a mobile home senior living community... that killed two people. it happened around 5:30 this morning... at a home in the mission bay mobile home park. kron four's will tran has more details. the fire took only 15 minutes to put out but it was enough time to destroy the home and kill two people.an elderly couple was found in the back of the home.... unable to escape the flames.neighbor alma bryant says they were very popular and loving couple. (catherine) antioch police have arrested a woman they accuse of stealing from elderly people at an assisted living center. they arrested 29-year-old antonique bryant yesterday....and say she's the accomplice of 30-year-old shawn morris of richmond...who was arrested earlier this month. the fraud happened in late august at the "aegis" senior community in moraga. police say the two suspects stole checks, credit cards, and debit cards from residents. they don't work at the senior community, and it's not clear tonight how they got in. withwere 17 and 18 .... and serving time in juvenile detention.( steve ) now, as kron four's rob fladeboe reports, the woman has been arrested and faces multiple felony counts in the case. 36-year-old tricia caparra was arrest by santa clara county sheriff's deputies at her home in santa cruz. she is facing 17 counts of sexual assault, 14 of which are felonies. she is accused of sexually assaulting the two boys while they were housed here at the county's william f. james boys ranch juvenile correctional facility where they get vocational training and tutoring. in a statement, chief probation officer laura garnette said that..."we were appalled to learn of this employee's alleged abuse of a minor in our care and we have worked closely with the sheriff and district attorney to ensure they have the information necessary to investigate and prosecute this individual..." the statement goes on to say that "..this employee violated the trust placed in our department and will not be tolerated....and that the department remains committed to providing exemplary care to our youth..." off camera, two visitors to the boys ranch expressed shock over the allegations, which first surfaced a year ago this month, touching off an internal investigation. tricia caparra also faces one felony charge for unlawful access to privileged information related to one of the victims. rob fladeboe/morgan hill

- that trapped motorists for hours, and left one man dead. ( steve ) tonight, a picture of the suspect that is at odds with a man wanted for murder. kron four's terisa estacio has been digging into this story for us tonight and joins us from emeryville police department... she spoke to one of the suspect's friends. today - i spoke with a friend of demilo hodge and he said that he is at a loss of words about what happened on freeway wednesday. in this video taken by a kron four viewer - you could hear multiple rounds of gunfire. when it all stopped, this man, de-milo hodge was injured - he later was prounced dead at the hospital. police say hodge lead them on a pursuit, standoff and shootout after they tried to stop him in connection with a murder in fairfield back in 2015.

(pam) equifax is planning to offer a free credit locking program that it says will last ... for life. credit freezes are currently available to customers in the wake of the credit bureau's massive data breach. equifax said today, it will continue to offer the service. it aims to give customers the ability to restrict access to their credit files for free... until january 2018. that's when the new credit locking and unlocking program is expected to be introduced. the service is described as a no-hassle, safe and free way to protect a customer's equifax credit file for life. this plan comes on the heels of the massive equifax breach that left the personal information of 147- million americans exposed to hackers. in rohnert park... a 17-year-old girl is still shaken after she was held up at knifepoint inside her home wednesday night by an alleged home invader. the suspect
