marin county is dealing with a threat of campus violence. most recently, someone scrawled graffiti in a campus bathroom...stating there were be a shooting at the school. the threat was made for tomorrow... on halloween. so the larkspur school is telling students... they cannot wear costumes to campus. last month, graffiti was also found in a bathroom...thr eatening a shooting on campus. police are still investigating that incident. and earlier in september, a student called in a bomb threat at redwood. a senior at the school was arrested and charged for that incident. (vicki) police in east palo alto are searching for a 17 year old boy who went missing late last week.(grant) kron four's rob fladeboe joins us now from menlo park, one of the last places where 17 year old jonathon bedolla was last seen. rob? station before he went missing last thursday. they have no reason to think jonathon met with foul play but they and others are very concerned about him nonetheless. this is a recent photo of 17 year old jonathon bedolla. east palo alto police, where jonathon lives, say that despite numerous calls and text messages sent by his worried family, jonathon has not responded. a ping from his cell phone placed the missing teen near the menlo park caltrain station on thursday, october 26, where police say he may have gotten onto a train. he was last seen about 5 o'clock that same day, leaving his job at stanford shopping center in palo alto. jonathon attends serra high school in san mateo where the administration sent out a statement expressing it's deep concern for jonathon's well being. the statement asks that"all of you pray for jonny's well being and safe return" and to "pray for him to come home safely right away." here is east palo alto police sergeant clint simmont.sgt. clint simmont/east palo alto police ".....after speaking with his

when asked if the president is considering the possibility of issuing pardons in the investigation - the white house press secretary says it's too early to consider that. vicki and grant? (vicki) a federal judge has blocked parts of the trump administration's transgender military ban. the block forbids the military from enforcing president trump's ban... it would prohibit transgender people from enlisting or re-enlisting. the court upheld the portion of the directive that blocks military personnel from having reassignment surgery. the ruling states that plaintiffs have established that the ban injures transgender people and imposes inequality on them. the judge says they are likely to win the case because the ban violates their fifth amendment right to due process. (grant) california drivers already pay some of the highest gas taxes in the nation... and we are about to pay even more. the gas tax bill will go into effect wednesday. under the bill... the price of gas will jump 12-cent per gallon... vehicle registration fees will

also increase. the bill was passed and signed by governor brown in april... it is designed to help fund transportation projects like fixing old roads and bridges...and reducing freeway congestion. some drivers are filling up their tanks before the tax goes into effect. "it's a few dollars every time you fill up especially this thing. that's why i'm filling this up because it's empty. haha. it takes a lot to fill it up so but you know it's gonna be a dollar or two more each time you fill up, but it adds up you know over time." the gas tax bill is expected to raise about 5-billion dollars a year. (vicki) a teenage girl has died... three weeks after she was severely burned in a fire that tore through mendocino county. her death raises the number of those killed in the state's wildfires to 43. according to the "santa rosa press democrat"... 17-year-old kressa shepherd died last night. doctors performed a cat scan... and determined she was brain-dead. kressa's brother -- 14-year-old kai shepherd -- was among the youngest who died in the wildfires. the shepherd family tried escaping the flames in their car... but their car caught fire. (grant) new information tonight in the arrest of oakland a's catcher bruce maxwell. police say he showed signs of intoxication when he was arrested following accusations that he pointed a handgun at the head of a woman in scottsdale. it happened when she was delivering food to his home. records released today give more details on his arrest, but don't offer an explanation for why he allegedly pointed the gun at the driver. maxwell has denied the accusations. you might remember... maxwell was the only player in major league baseball to take a knee this year during the national anthem to protest racial injustice. (vicki) a team of norwegian researchers is linking acetaminophen to a-d-h-d.(grant) acetaminophen is the active ingredient in tylenol and hundreds of other over-the- counter and prescription drugs. researchers studied 95-thousand mothers over ten years... and discovered women who consumed the drug while pregnant increased their risk of having a child with a-d-h-d by 220 percent. his injuries are reportedly non-life- threatening. no word yet on any suspects or a possible motive. (grant) police say they added more security at california's great america amusement park in the south bay. this after chaos erupted during a halloween event over the weekend. the santa clara police department says they received reports of fights and thefts happening in the park saturday night. multiple people suffered minor injuries and several cell phones were stolen in the chaos. police confirmed that a taser was used on a person who was trying to steal a cell phone. that person got away. two people were arrested. (grant) police in san jose are searching for a driver after he injured an officer during a sideshow. it happened around 10 last night on hostetter road near interstate 680. the officer was treated at the hospital for non-life threatning injuries. the driver left the scene. he was last seen driving in a maroon or brown nissan 240-s-x-e. five drivers have already been arrested in connection to this sideshow.

( catherine ) new at six: a serial robbery suspect is under arrest tonight in san jose.... and police are looking for more possible victims to come forward. 21-year-old lawrence carter is accused of at least seven robberies targeting elderly east indian and asian women. investigators say he'd approach them and yank gold chains off their necks. police have released this

( grant ) steve and catherine... another good sign today out of santa rosa which has been especially devastated. students returned to class at santa rosa high school... it was one of eleven schools where classes resumed today. 13 other schools in the city started up again last friday. the school district is making sure it is looking out for the children. counselors are on hand... and breakfast and lunch are being offered for free for the rest of the year. students we talked to this morning know they are walking into a delicate situation and say they know some of their classmates have had a horrific few weeks.

( grant ) now for an update on the fires themselves. cal fire expects to have all the major north bay wildfires contained by tomorrow. the tubbs, nuns and pocket fires are 99-percent contained. the atlas fire which devastated napa county was fully contained on friday. the tubbs fire has already been declared the most destructive wildfire in california's history. it destroyed nearly 29-hundred homes just in santa rosa. (2-shot/steve) east palo alto police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenager. kron four's rob fladeboe reports on what we know about the search for jonathon bedolla. this is a recent photo of 17 year old jonathon bedolla. east palo alto police, where jonathon lives, say that despite numerous calls and text messages sent by his worried family, jonathon has not responded. a ping from his cell phone placed the missing teen near the menlo park caltrain station on thursday, october 26, where police say he may have gotten onto a train. he was last seen about 5 o'clock that same day, leaving his job at stanford shopping center in palo alto. jonathon attends serra high school in san mateo where the administration sent
