this has simmons responds to rain. i sincerely apologize, the 60-year0old prolific cofounder of def jam recordings responding to allegations from this woman, jenny lumet, who he put in his 1987 run dmc movie, "tougher than leather." the now 50-year-old screenwriter and granddaughter of lena horne, who's behind such films as "the mummy" and "rachel getting married "made disturbing sexual assault claims in a letter addressed directly to russell. then in 1991, one year before meeting his now ex-wife, model kimora lee simons, jenny and had a run-in with russell. the then-24-year-old says russel offered her a ride home, but instead locked the car doors and took her to his home. once there, jenny writes, you used your size to maneuver me, i said, wait. wait. you moved me into a bedroom. i said, wait. you closed the door. at that point, i simply did what i was told. simmons acknowledged the night in question. quote, while her memory of that evening is very different from mine, it is now clear to me that
