we begin with what's become our newest holiday tradition--warriors-cavs on christmas day. despite the history between these teams, players like to say 'it's just one of 82-games.' they can downplay it all they want, but, today felt like another finals showdown in june. --let's head to oracle-- this is the 3rd year in a row they've played on christmas ---their first meeting since the finals.. but, both sides don't have their full complement of stars. kevin durant was there. --so was lebron james, --but steph curry..áout with an ankle injury when kevin durant won finals mvp. --early on, a lot of chippiness. first quarter-- draymond green...gets into it with jae crowder. then, kevin durant and jose calderon were going back and forth.
6:46 pm
both green and kd...were hit with early technicals. -this one kept going back and forth. in the 3rd, warriors up 2...kevin love..3- ball corner pocket. cavs take the lead... and love led all scorers with 31-points. --later on, check out this momentum changing play. andre iguodala..off the rebound...takes all by himself. goes cross court and right to the rack. iggy...9-points, 6-boards off the bench. --but, the crosscourt theatrics weren't done yet. draymond blocks tristan thompson... and defense turns into offense.. kd with a slam on the other end. --then 2-minutes to go in the 4th, warriors up 92- 90 lebron james..on jordan bell. shows the rookie a few moves.. with the stop and drop. and we are all tied at 92. --steve kerr takes a timeout.. warriors trying to draw something up. out of the break, they turn to klay thompson...klay...a dagger. golden state retakes the lead. and curry approves. --then,of
6:47 pm
course, this game ends with a little controversy. cavs down 3... lebron driving for the layup with kd on him. ball goes out of bounds... some would say there was contact, ábut no foul called. that's a turnover. --and the warriors..with more reason to celebrate on christmas. the champs win 99-92. afterwards, kd being asked about that final play. --full slate of nba action today... 76ers-knicks started it off. and that baby wanted to see the process in person. --tight game throughout... but enes kanter put on a show

"just now?"yep, sure did."i'll talk to him about that. we're dealing with the rams next week and we'll look at everythingelse after that." moving on to the raiders-- silver and black...in action right now taking on the eagles in philly. at last check, score is tied at 7 late in the second oakland doesn't have much stake in this matchup....since they were officially eliminated from the playoff race yesterday. the birds, on the other hand, trying to lock up the nfc's top seed and homefield advantage through the playoffs. and finally, steelers- texans in the matinee game. santa claus making the trip down to houston. --even without antonio brown, pittsburgh's offense was still a machine. late 3rd quarter---le'veon bell...skates in to the endzone to put the steelers up 26-nothing. -and the celebration game, on point. he and the offense have a little snowball fight. --but, deandre hopkins...wasn't playing
