( marty ) members of the military will be working without pay. federal law enforcement agencies will not be affected by the shutdown. nor will postal service. but one of the first things we think about during a government shutdown is impact on national parks.. kron four's spencer blake went to alcatraz landing and found out the iconic island will not be affected by the shutdown. "the first initial reaction will be a huge sigh of relief, and then just to be - yeah, i'll be really ecstatic for those who had planned - some people for months - to come out to the island, and they will be able to experience it." that would have been alcatraz cruises marketing director antonette sespene's reaction had congress reached a deal on a spending bill.even though we are now in a shutdown, people with reservations on alcatraz cruises don't have to change plans.the company's website tours will continue to operate in the event of a government shutdown.tourists on friday might have been the last ones

and killed a 65-year-old woman in san francisco.this is video of the scene. police say 67-year-old winston hue shot the woman multiple times friday afternoon on the 1800 block of 34th avenue . the victim died at the scene. hue managed to get away before police responded. they found hue last night around 10 p-m in san francisco.no other details have been released. ( marty ) there is outrage over the sentence handed down to the wife of an alameda county sheriff's deputy... she was involved in a dui crash in san ramon that left a three-year-old dead.... on friday yarenit malihan pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and d-u-i . she was sentenced to seven years in prison. but as kron4 's teresia estacio reports...she will serve a lot less time than that. summary:an alameda county sheriff's deputies wife has been sentenced friday to seven years in prison for the 2016 dui crash that killed 3-year- old elijah dunn.yarenit liliana malihan, 40, of pleasanton, pleaded guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter

( marty ) san francisco prides itself as being a bike friendly city. in 2012 ... the port of san francisco constructed a safe bike lane, dedicated to riders.but stanley roberts points out, that is not the case. you are looking at a class one bike lane in san francisco, it is completely protected from trafficnats: ambiance it has if own traffic signal it even has a stop sign. but it

appears to missing two . or make that three things it's missing, bicyclists i say that only because i haven't seen one on the bike path entire time i was here. it's also missing parts of the fence. in random locations so you walk through here a lot? i walk through here fairly regularly, i just noticed they are missing part of the fences you come through here more than i do so what did you notice well i definitely noticed pieces of the fence are missing apparently someone borrowed close to a quarter mile of fence and not many people noticed.. now it looks like some of the fence was run over, you can tell that by the bent poles sticking out of the concrete barriers however in some cases it appears as if the poles were sawed off . which makes this protected bike lane not so protected this is a really nice bike path i usually just walk on the sidewalk or the bike path but it feels a little vulnerable when you're walking down and they're huge trucks coming in right at you i definitely move over to the side,( and the fence is gone) the fence feels it's a protective shield this

points out, that is not the case. you are looking at a class one bike lane in san francisco, it is completely protected from trafficnats: ambiance it has if own traffic signal it even has a stop sign. but it appears to missing two . or make that three things it's missing, bicyclists i say that only because i haven't seen one on the bike path entire time i was here. it's also missing parts of the fence. in random locations so you walk through here a lot? i walk through here fairly regularly, i just noticed they are missing part of the fences you come through here more than i do so what did you notice well i definitely noticed pieces of the fence are missing apparently someone borrowed close to a quarter mile of fence and not many people noticed.. now it looks like some of the fence was run over, you can tell that by the bent poles sticking out of the concrete barriers however in some cases it appears as if the poles were sawed off . which makes this protected bike lane not so protected

this is a really nice bike path i usually just walk on the sidewalk or the bike path but it feels a little vulnerable when you're walking down and they're huge trucks coming in right at you i definitely move over to the side,( and the fence is gone) the fence feels it's a protective shield this project belongs to the port of san francisco, but it's almost like it was built in 2012 and the port forgot about it ..i noticed this because i was looking into complaints of illegal dumping in india basin . and noticed a bike lane in need of repair also some of the signage could be upgraded, this one says no parking between 1201 to 6am . when really there is not parking every day and this old fire box which looks like it been through a fire .this looks more like a boondoggle than it does a class one bicycle lane but you paid for it .you can see where it was sawed yea clearly yea i'm sure someone is using it for scrap metal i don't know, who steals a fence ( i don't know i don't know i never witnessed anybody stealing a fence)in san francisco stanley roberts kron 4 news

you've heard of super- moons, blue moons, and blood moons, and, depending on where you are on january 31st, you'll be able to see all three in one. a "super- moon" occurs when the full moon is closer to earth and brighter than normal. a blood moon occurs when it takes on a reddish tint as it passes through earth's shadow in a lunar eclipse. the "blue-moon" designation has nothing to do with color - it simply refers to the very unusual occurrence of two full moons in a single month. morning ... if you are a ámonthlyá amazon prime member... get ready to pay a little more for your membership. monthly subscription prices are about to go up two dollars a month. from 10-99 to 12-99. the price increase does not apply to those who pay for prime annually. amazon is not giving a specific reason for the price increase. but there's speculation it is to get more people to sign up for the annual subscription. their annual subscription is 99-dollars and if you break that down it's only 8-25 a month. ( marty ) and it's about to get harder to fly with an emotional support animal on delta airlines. delta says beginning march first ... all passengers bringing animals into the cabin will be required to provide documentation from a doctor or mental health professional. they will also need a signed letter stating the animal is trained to behave without a kennel. the airline says the decision was made after repeated incidents involving untrained animals biting passengers and relieving
