morning... ice confirms that agents raided dozens of businesses across the bay area this week. it is part of ice's ongoing effort to crack down on places that employee undocumented workers. 77 locations were raided in the bay area between monday and wednesday. san francisco district attorney... george gascon... says that his office was aware that ice might be taking action this week... but did not know the specific details.

was attacked and robbed in her home... and police believe two men involved broke into another house close-by. both crimes happened wednesday morning. police say the woman who was attacked was in her house when she heard something downstairs. when she went to check it out...2 masked men shoved her into a bathroom...then continued to rumage through her home. we spoke to neighbors who said they are now very worried...

that the alameda county sheriff's office says was used to ram one of their motorcycle officers. they say the deputy tried to pull over the driver for speeding a little after 930 am. it turned out the suv was stolen...and here on arbor ave in hayward just off the 880 freeway the driver allegedly put the vehicle in reverse and hit the cop while still on the bike. the cop was dragged for 15-20 feet..once free of the motorcycle....the driver allegedly tried once again to run the deputy down.the suspect then put the car into drive, drove at the officer again we believe to run him overand to kill him. the officer pulled out his weapon fired into the vehicle. one man who lives nearby heard the commotion. i heard for what sounded like firecrackers loud ones. i got my clothes on and went outside looked on the block and i saw the motorcycle cop on the ground the bike not himthat's because, the deputy

( robin ) a man in san francisco is caught on camera stealing security cameras. take a look... you can see the man stealing the cameras in the dolores heights neighborhood. then later in the day... the homeowner sees the same guy in the castro district. he recognized him from the surveillance footage. he followed the man while he called police and the man was cited and released. of guide dogs for blind based in san rafael understands why united and delta airlines want to tighten the leash on emotional support animals flying with their owners. the airlines say people are calling their pets "emotional support animals" so they can fly them for free saving up to hundreds of dollars on a pet ticket. christine says if the "emotional support animal" is not trained it can put thier blind clients with trained service dogs on the aircraft in danger. sound from: christine benninger, president and ceo, guide dogs for blind. it can put our clients in danger when flying as of march first people will have to submit several documents to united and delta 48 hours before their flight to bring an emotional support animal on board. including current immunization records, a doctor form saying the animal is an official emotional support animal, a signed veterinary form proving the animal is healthy, and a signed confirmation that the animal is trained. delta is taking things a step further... they are also requiring travelers with service animals, like blind guide dogs... to jump through the same hoops as

( robin ) in the east bay... the city of berkeley is averaging a laptop robbery every two days. kron 4's dan kerman has more on the growing problem. thursday afternoon there was no shortage of people on their laptops enjoying this unseasonably warm weather at cafe strada in berkeley. the same was true wednesday night when yet another laptop robbery occurred.sot sgt. andrew frankel/berkeley police 12-184 suspects walked in and started grabbing laptops. they

( robin )( robin ) we now know the name of the officer who was hit by a man trying to leave a sideshow in richmond. he's onome (oh-no-me) ojo (o-jo). the former n-f-l player is still recovering. police say ojo is still "banged up pretty good." two people have been arrested. ojo was hit early sunday morning at marina bay parkway... near regatta boulevard. juan vargas is accused of speeding toward ojo and hitting him. ojo dislocated his shoulder and suffered a head injury. ( robin ) in berkeley -- a man has been arrested for hitting a child on a bart train. police say raymond benson hit a five-year-old child who accidentally bumped into him. benson was arrested on suspicion of willful harm to a child and battery on a transit passenger.

people behaving badly. everyone loves to use the bike lanes on valencia street in san francisco let see there are motorcycle operators nats ambiance double parked delivery trucks nats: ambiance ubers and lyft drivers dipping in a for a quick pick up or drop off nats: ambiance and apparently . parking enforcement .this was in the protected lane outside of california pacific medical center. where according to the sfmta since the interceptors are motorcycles they are not permitted in the protected lanes nats: ambiance that being said the city is spending up to 145 thousand dollars to look into who is doing what in the bike lanes you get down to 17th and valencia, there's all these uber cars double parked in the bike lanes valencia street is also known as bike route 45 and on any given day you will find delivery trucks blocking the bike lane like this at

yesterday morning on arbor avenue in hayward... just off 880. authorities say the deputy pulled the driver over for speeding. and that's when the driver put the s-u-v in reverse... and slammed into the deputy... who was still on his bike. the deputy was dragged for at least 15 feet. the driver then tried hitting the deputy again... before taking off. the deputy did shoot at the s-u-v as it was driving away. one man who lives nearby heard the commotion. los angeles school that injured 5... including 4 students. the girl told police that the shooting was accidental. a 15-year-old boy was shot in the head. he is still in critical condition this morning. all of the other victims are expected to be okay. the shooting happened at sal castro middle school... a couple of miles from downtown l-a. police have recovered the weapon. it is not clear how the girl got her hands on the gun. ( darya ) a man is arrested for driving under the influence in daly city... with a baby on his lap. it happened on fairlawn avenue. officers found the 32- year-driver inside the car.... with a one-year-old sitting on his lap. the baby suffered head injuries... and was taken to the hospital. after further investigation... police discovered the man had

three past d-u-i's. the man was arrested and is being charged with d-u-i and child cruelty. part of ice's ongoing effort to crack down on places that employee undocumented workers. 77 locations were raided in the bay area between monday and wednesday. san francisco district attorney... george gascon... says that his office was aware that ice might be taking action this week... but did not know the specific details. ( darya ) this lastest action comes just a few weeks after ice raided 7-11 stores across the country, including the bay area. at this point we don't know how many arrests, if any, have been made. ( darya ) religious leaders across the bay area are saying the latest ice raids are traumatizing immigrants in the community.

church leaders have responded to the latest ice threats by showing their support. churches are typically considered sensitive locations.... and ice has not come into those types of locations in the past. they hope that churches can provide a layer of defense against the recent raids. leaders within the immigrant community are also taking action... they have set up a hotline where ice raids can be reported and verified. callers can also be connected to legal services. ( james ) happening now... the search is on for the man who hit an alameda county deputy with a stolen s-u-v. it happened around 9:30 yesterday morning on arbor avenue in hayward... just off 880. authorities say the deputy pulled the driver over for speeding. and that's when the driver put the s-u-v in reverse... and slammed into the deputy... who was still on his bike. the deputy was dragged for at least 15 feet. the driver then tried hitting the deputy again... before taking off. the deputy did shoot at the s-u-v as it was driving away.
