and in marin county, you might be surprised at how many filthy and dangerous items are found along the coastline. stanley roberts shows us in this edition of people behaving badly. there are treasures to be to be found on along the richardson bay shore line in marin county and these are venetian blinds you know what you do with those you ever seen when they puts slats inside chain link fences so when i said treasures, i was being facetious what you can find are thing that shouldn't be on the shoreline this is a photo of syringes that were found under highway 101 by a retiree who spends a lot of time on the shoreline getting exercise and cleaning the beach he declined to show his face on camera but he agreed to take me on tour he told me how this area is being trashed and when i say trashed i mean whole bags of trash like the one in this photo he snapped

but he goes further there is a whole contingent of people that live on their boats who as you would say they behave badly, by throwing their garbage and worse of all their sewage and needles into the bay but from this vantage point you don't really see many boats which could be cause the problem so i placed a call to the marin county sheriff's office and the flood gates opened .this video was sent to me it shows a sailboat being dragged ashore and then it shows this a bucket filled with capped and uncapped syringes that almost ended up in richardson bay ááááso apparently there is some truth to the notion that debris from boats is washing ashore the sailboat was deemed not seaworthy and was at risk of sinking.. so under a relatively new harbor and navigation code it gets removed just like this boat, the problem is when these boats sink all the debris inside the boats end up washing up on the beach including something worse this bucket was used as a toilet... it has a rope attached so it can be tossed into the water and everything in it which washes up on the shoreline
