(vicki) breaking news tonight... the connector ramp between southbound highway 101 and southbound interstate 280 in san francisco remains closed down following what police say is armed robbery. the robbery was reported just before one pm today. according to chp... the silver hyundai was boxed-in by another car. authorities say the suspects then robbed the people in the silver hyundai and took off. no injuries were reported. the connector ramp is expected to reopen around six pm. (vicki) new information tonight on a murder investigation in walnut creek. police have arrested 34- year-old concord resident hakim madjour on suspicion of murder. the incident

happened at a construction site last night on lacassie avenue. that's close to the walnut creek bart station. police say they found a 60-year-old male victim with life threatening injuries. they tried to save his life... but he died at the scene. police say madjour and the victim knew each other... and were working as security guards at the construction site. police say the victim was attacked with a metal pole. the motive is not clear. madjour is being held on one-million dollars bail. (2-shot/grant) they're out there, watching and waiting to steal your pin numbers. fremont police are hot on the heels of a crew that has been "skimming" credit card numbers across thebay area. and as kron four's rob fladeboe reports now, police believe this crew has ties to organized crime. arrested so far in connection with the credit card skimming ring are brothers denis and iurii osetskyi, vasiliy polyak and artak harutyunyan, all from southern california. police say iurii osetskii, was the first arrest. he had $38 hundred dollars on him after making multiple transactions

at several atm machines. later that same night denis osetski reported his brother missing and when police went to the motel where they were staying they arrested him too and confiscated multiple cloned gift and debit cards made with the stolen pin numbers. that led police to alleged co conspirators vasiliy polyak and artak harutyunyan who both were in possession of bluetooth- enabled gas pump skimming devices and more than 100 cloned debit and gift cards as well as components to build more skimming tools. most of the cards were traced to pin number stolen from the crocket area in contra costa county, likely obtained by devices attached to gas station pumps. sgt. ricardo cortes/fremont police "....crews will come to a gas station and will literally open up the pump and the pump sealed up with the device left behind inside the pump and it is bluetooth enabled so then somebody will simply be close by with a laptop and when somebody uses their debit card that person will capture their information on the lap top...."rob fladeboe/fremont ". police characterized the the skimming crew as part of a transnational crime ring based in los angeles. in fremont rob fladeboe kron 4 newss (vicki) police say they arrested three teens who allegedly made threats against their school earlier this week. it happened at edna hill middle school in brentwood on wednesday. police say the

17 million twitter followers. lawrence karnow: we enjoyed some sunshine and clouds today and mild temperatures. showers continue in northern california but there is another storm off the coast that could bring some rain to the bay area this weekend. you can see the storm on the satellite image. it is coming up from the southwest and usually the computer models don't handle these types of situations very well. that said there is a chance of rain developing late in the day from san francisco southward into the monterey bay and big sur. rain will be heaviest to the south. rain will likely continue saturday night before turning to showers on sunday. another storm is expected to bring more clouds and possibly some showers as early as afternoon. heavier rain is possible on tuesday. more rain and thunderstorms with low snow levels down to 3,000 feet possible on wednesday and thursday. unsettled and possibly wet continue into next weekend.
