( marty ) four people are recovering from injuries ... after being hit by an s-u-v in santa rosa. it happened at 1:30 this morning. police say four people were standing on a sidewalk in front of a restaurant ... when a ford explorer hit them. the driver then sped off. but police found the abandoned truck ... and the driver who was hiding behind some bushes.

the four victims are expected to be ok. the driver of the truck was arrested on d-u-i charges. ( marty ) continuing coverage of the tragedy in yountville. it will be some time before things return back to normal at the veterans home and pathway house. kron four's philippe djegal was at the scene of friday's shooting. he met with people who live and work in the community, some of them knew the victims. (philippe) u-s army veteran tom parkinson -- made an emotional stop by the pathway home saturday morning... paying his respects to the three people who worked here -- that lost their lives friday.tom parkinson/veteran- "i hate to see something like this happen here." parkinson has lived at the veterans home of california yountville going on six years now... and, says he knew the executive director of the pathway home very well. 48-year-old christine (chris-teen) loeber (low- burr)... who he says was passionate about the veterans she treated for post-traumatic stress disorder... and, even made donations to her

program, as funding dwindled over time.tom parkinson/vete ran- "wonderful woman -- i mean, just wonderful." he also knew jennifer gonzeles shushereba... the 32-year- old clinical psychologist at pathway... who had been married about a year... and, according to a close friend, was seven months pregnant when she was shot to death in this building.tom parkinson/veteran- "they really care. and, uh, its just a terrible shame." sandra woodford is a u-s army veteran too and a resident at the veterans home. she also works across the street from the pathway home in the creative arts building.sandra woodford/veteran- "what i heard first was a burst of gunfire at least 12 shots." woodford was heartbroken to learn the shooting turned deadly. the third victim was 42-year-old clinical director jennifer golick. loeber (low-burr) -- she knew personally.sandra woodford/vete ran- "beautiful. a beautiful, outgoing, congenial, intelligent woman -- that really cared for the program. cared for the veterans." and, that's why veterans are taking this loss so hard. in yountville, philippe djegal, kron four news.

( marty ) president trump took aim at california during his weekly address today. last week the president went after oakland mayor libby schaaf. for issuing a public warning about the possibility of federal i-c-e raids. the trump administration also plans to sue california over state sanctuary laws. huge san francisco 49ers news tonight. nfl sources confirm to us that former seattle seahawks star richard sherman is now a san francisco 49er. sherman at one time was disliked by san francisco

have released 9-1-1 calls during the deadly school shooting in parkland, florida. they include the voice of a deputy who never confronted the shooter - and a parent telling her daughter how to deceive the gunman. cnn's alexander marquardt reports. natsot: "be advised we have possible shots fired. i think we have shots fired."it is a chaotic, heartbreaking and clearer picture now emerging from recordings and a new timeline just released by the broward county sheriff's office.natsot / peterson: "make sure we get some units over here. i need to shut down stoneman douglas."that's the voice of the armed school
