( robin ) in most places around the bay area...you have to search around...or pay...to park. but now... the parking issues are making it difficult for people on foot. stanley roberts explains in today's edition of people behaving badly. i'm doing a story about people blocking the sidewalk (ahhh let me get out the street then
4:41 am
i don't want to be on tv) laughter why you blocking the sidewalk we live in a world where people only care about pedestrians when they are pedestrians once they get into a car all bets are off (sounds of traffic) i'm in redwood city were in some areas residents have a serious parking problem, you can tell by all the signs posted around for instance, here you see..no parking spray painted on the sidewalk and here, active driveway 24 hours please do not block or my favorite .. do not block fence, resident parking only buy the way this sign is for street parking .. i seriously doubt you can be towed nats: ambiance oh and look at this. this line, i believe means on the right side is supposed to be the property line. where it's safe to park some people are even using cones to save parking on a public street... yes it's that bad nats: ambiance but have you ever tried to walk on some of the sidewalks it's almost impossible with only a foot of clearance to pass not because the sidewalks are narrow, they are wide enough for someone using a wheelchair to pass if it wasn't for the fact that some of the sidewalks are blocked by cars that were parking half on the street
4:42 am
and half on the sidewalk and in some cases the sidewalk is impassable these parking habits forces people to walk into traffic, and based on some of the official city signs i read speeding is a problem éand as we know pedestrians don't have airbags i just think that when you got depressed ditches like this it kinda implies that you can roll the car on up right unless someone tell them no keep parking in the street a resident doesn't really know the difference do they. we'll some people know the difference, this driver parked correctly and didn't block the sidewalkkeep this in mind the sidewalk is for pedestrians and and maybe a random cat and the streets are for cars pretty simple concept don't you agree well i mean i don't live in the neighborhood so i can't exactly answer those in redwood city stanley roberts kron 4 news (robin)coming up on the kron four morning news... a new lawsuit has surfaced after massive mudslides swept

4:51 am
cause cancer. one of the chemicals on the list is acrylamide, which is produced in small amounts in coffee during the roasting process. the judge concluded that coffee companies failed to show that acrylamide is safe, and thus a warning label is needed.in response, the national coffee association released a statement thursday saying that they are dissapointed with the ruling and exploring legal options. association president & ceo william murray said, "coffee has been shown, over and over again, to be a healthy beverage. this lawsuit has made a mockery of prop 65, has confused consumers, and does nothing to improve public health"in san francisco thursday afternoon, coffee drinkers had mixed reactions to the idea of warning label. sotif there's actual scientific evidence that chemical causes cancer, sure, let's put it on the label.soti would be skeptical. i think that the fact that those labels are on cigarettes is a really good thing but if the concentration of those chemicals in coffee is so low
4:52 am
that it's not going to cause cancer in any signifigant in the people who drink it, then it seems a little silly.sot i think coffee is probably the last thing that is going to kill me.now, wedneday's ruling was just a tenative ruling . the judge could perhaps if new to surface.charles clifford ( robin ) for your money... a warning if you use the "my fitness pal" app. your personal information may have been compromised. the app tracks user's exercise and food. now... under armor -- which owns my fitness pal -- says 150 million people could have had their information stolen. that includes usernames, email addresses, and passwords. under armor says they are working with security firms to investigate what happened. if you use my fitness pal-- the company says to change your password as soon as possible.
