one of the passengers was hit in the arm and is recovering this morning. san jose police continue to search for the gunman.kron 4's hermela aregawi spoke to the victims. a ride home goes terribly wrong. dani jimenez/victim i was just like so scared. i can't even tell you what i was thinking at the time. i just wanted to get out of there. this bullet hole is a reminder that dani jimenez, her sister and friend were almost killed.. after being shot while driving on monterey road in san jose.the three say.. early wednesday morning around two.. they grabbed food at this jack in the box drivethrough and headed home. they then noticed a truck that was also in the drive thru .. traveling next to them. they say they didn't think much of it.. until the suspect got behind their car and started aggressively tailgating them dani jimenez/victimhe just started trying to be super close to me and then that is when he shot two more times that's when it kind of clicked in my head and i started yelling at dispatch and was

( marty ) a big story we're following this morning ... a terrifying ordeal for three women in the south bay. they were shot at after leaving a fast food drive thru. one of the passengers was hit in the arm and is recovering this morning. san jose police continue to search for the gunman.kron 4's hermela aregawi spoke to the victims. a ride home goes terribly wrong. dani jimenez/victim i was just like so scared. i can't even tell you what i was thinking at the time. i just wanted to get out of there. this bullet hole is a reminder that dani jimenez, her sister and friend were almost killed.. after being shot while driving on monterey road in san jose.the three say.. early wednesday morning around two.. they grabbed food at this jack in the box drivethrough and headed home. they then noticed a truck that was also in the drive thru .. traveling next to them. they say they didn't think much of

(philippe)cherie jones/mother- "it's, uh, like a rollercoaster. really, just a lot of ups and downs." cherie jones says though a week has passed since her son passed away... the shock and sadness is still fresh... and, she doesn't expect that to change for quite some time.cherie jones/mother- "he complained of chest pain once

but he was being active." her 16-year-old son jeremiah joyner was an outside linebacker on the varisty football team at oakland technical high school. but the football season has been over for a few months now. cherie says when she got home thursday night... she woke her son up from a nap. he complained of head, stomach and chest pains... and moments later, he threw up and then collapsed.cherie jones/mother- "my brother, he came down and i ran to the fire station to see if i could get some help, and i understand my brother gave him cpr." cherie says paramedics got jeremiah's heart beating again, before he was rushed to highland hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.cherie jones/mother- "when my brother received a call from the coroner, they said there was an abnormality in his heart. i guess an artery was on the left side versus the right side and it didn't have i guess a curve in it. it was coming down, which i guess he wasn't getting the air supply that he needed." cherie believes her son may have been born with this condition, and says she hopes others can learn from this story. she
