all was not hit.and right now the c-h-p is still looking for the person responsible.the c-h-p tells us, just before seven last night an officer was on a traffic stop in the eastbound lanes west of central avenue when a white suv passed by and started firing shots.a ford sedan was struck by one of the bullets. no injuries have been reported from this shooting.all east bound lanes were closed for several hours, but have since re-opened.the c-h-p does not believe the shooter was targeting the officer, but describes it as unnerving.

string of car break in's has prompted a police warning for residents. sausalito police say the break -ins happened within a few hours of each other early saturday morning. kron 4 's ella sogomonian has the story. shattered glass on the street is a common sight in san francisco but saturday morning it was residents in the sleepy bayside town of sausalito that got the rude awakening.police say at least ten cars on sausalito blvd and edwards avenue were broken into and burglarized as thieves tried door handles that were left unlocked.sot: josh piestrue, sausalito resident// "i just moves here about two and a half months ago...so i am surprised because i hadn't heard anything about break ins but about half the stuff didnt fit in my new apartment. so i better go check to make sure they didn't take anything from my garage."people reported gym bags, purses, sunglasses and a tablet stolen among other valuables left in their cars. sot: ella sogomonian, @ellasogomonian// "so police remind drivers not to leave valuables in plain sight. also remember to lock your doors. and of course roll up your windows."one neighbor says he moved from san francisco to

former pastor worked at the grace bible church in pleasant hill. ( marty ) in alameda, police are still searching for suspects in a violent attempted robbery that left a 61-year -old woman dead. this is surveillance video that captured the incident in a resturant parking lot last friday night. it shows a group of men fighting near the intersection of webster and atlantic avenue just before midnight. two people were injured in the fight. but a woman -- cindy (lay) -- suffered serious injuries and died at the hospital last tuesday. officials say le (lay) was affiliated with the vietnamese restaurant pho ahn dao (fa-on-dow). customers are stunned about the death. ( marty ) le's (lay's) death is alameda's first homicide of the year. police believe the male victim was injured trying to protect le (lay).

they are asking anyone who has information about the fight to come ( marty ) the search is on for a man who robbed a bank dressed as a constuction worker. here's a surveilence photo of the robber. palo alto police say he demanded money and had a gun tucked into his waistband. it happened at the comerica bank on lytton avenue. police say when the teller went to a back room, the man jumped over the counter and took money from an open drawer. the robber then ran away. investigation. firefighters say the building did not appear to have zoning permits for a music studio. ( marty ) there's a big financial boost for the ambitious, and controversial project called california water fix. a southern california water agency approved nearly $11 billion dollars to help pay for the project. kron 4's capitol bureau reporter kody leibowitz reports. two tunnels -- back on the table for the california waterfix project -- known simply as the delta tunnels. this after a historic decision from the metropolitan water district of southern california.the water agency voted to commit nearly 65 percent of the proposed 17 billion dollars to build the project.despite floating the idea of a one-tunnel phased-in plan earlier this year -- california waterfix told us on friday that the two 35-mile long tunnel plan is what they've pursued the entire time.in a statement the california natural resources agency says -- while water agencies up and down the state continue to engage in important discussions and decisions about cost allocation and participation, the state will continue pursuing final permitting to allow construction of the project. we are eager to move forward with waterfix to protect the delta ecosystem and ensure a reliable water

encampments in san francisco are not hard to find. one day it's small, then steadily grows into a much larger encampment. kron 4's stanley roberts explains there are several reasons why, in this edition of people behaving badly. this is a lime scooter which was found in a homeless encampment near the corner of de haro and berry in san francisco nats ambiance it was missing the front wheel and apparently the gps trackernow its heading to the dump but that's not the only one, workers also recovered a spin scooter i'm not quite sure if the gps tracker is still attached also found, a spin bike share it was completely stripped and the name was painted over i used a knife to scrape off the paint to confirm nats: ambiance workers also found a smith and wesson bicycle, i had no idea smith and wesson made bikes. there was a scoot motorcycle helmet as wellworkers found a brand new air conditioner still wrapped in plastic and what's left of this thousand dollar bikeit's tons of debris with most heading to the

suspects in a violent attempted robbery that left a 61-year -old woman dead. this is surveillance video that captured the incident in a resturant parking lot last friday night. it shows a group of men fighting near the intersection of webster and atlantic avenue just before midnight. two people were injured in the fight. but a woman -- cindy (lay) -- suffered serious injuries and died at the hospital last tuesday. officials say le (lay) was affiliated with the vietnamese restaurant pho ahn dao (fah-on-dow). customers are stunned about the death. financial boost for the ambitious, and controversial project called california water fix. a southern california water agency approved nearly $11 billion dollars to help pay for the project. kron 4's capitol bureau reporter kody leibowitz reports. two tunnels -- back on the table for the california waterfix project -- known simply as the delta tunnels. this after a historic decision from the metropolitan water district of southern california.the water agency voted to commit nearly 65 percent of the proposed 17 billion dollars to build the project.despite floating the idea of a one-tunnel phased-in plan earlier this year -- california waterfix told us on friday that the two 35-mile long tunnel plan is what they've pursued the entire time.in a statement the california natural resources agency says -- while water agencies up and down the state continue to engage in important discussions and decisions about cost allocation and participation, the state will continue pursuing final permitting to allow construction of the project. we are eager to move forward with waterfix to protect the delta ecosystem and ensure a reliable water supply for the future.barbara

trajineras)... i don't suggest many museums, but bear with me. the museum is actually the former home of frida kahlo and husband, diego rivera. so along with a small collection of works, probably just the right amount for those non-museum types, there's photographs and personal items. inside, the house looks in many ways similar to how it did in the 1950s. don't miss her studio and the colorful kitchen. there is often a line to get in. if you can be organized and by your ticket in advance online, that can save you some time. the neighborhood surrounding the frida kahlo museum, coyoacan, (coh-yo-can) is a nice place to wander. things are less chaotic than in other parts of mexico city. but sometimes chaos, controlled chaos is part of the fun. mexico city's historic center seems to always be buzzing, making it equally fun for strolling. francisco i. madero street is for people watching and shopping. the large city square, is surrounded by aztec ruins and the massive
