national park service, which manages stinson beach hasn't given a timetable for the repairs. now, with warm weather on tap for this weekend, it could get very busy here at stinson as people head to the beach. that problem will be made worse by the lack of parking spots. the other looming issue here is that eskoot creek, which drains water from mount tampalpais to the ocean was filled with rock and debris by that big storm two weeks ago. that is forcing the creek water into the neighborhoods and out on to the streets. if it's not cleared before the next heavy big storm, the creek could flood into the homes and businesses. no word yet on when or even if the creek will be cleared anytime soon. standupfinally, the good news is that there's no rain in the immediate forecast giving everyone here a chance to continue the cleanup and figure out what to do about the parking lot and creek.in marin county, charles clifford kron 4 news.
