"roaracle" will be packed... as lebron and the cleveland cavaliers take on steph curry and the warriors for game one of the nba finals. both teams met with the media yesterday... as the dubs are looking for back-to-back titles... and three world championships in the last four years. both teams praticed at oracle before sitting down with the press at media day. most so-called experts predict the warriors sweeping... or winning in five games. the dubs are the biggest favotires to win in a finals since the lakers in 2001. warriors players down-played all the

( robin )sad news this morning... a woman was found dead inside a stairwell at san francisco's general hospital. it happened wednesday evening. her name is ruby anderson... and it turns out she had been missing for ten

days. hospital officials say hospital officials say anderson was a dementia patient who signed herself out. kron 4's charles clifford has the story. we now know that the woman was 76-year-old ruby lee anderson. she was apparently suffered from dementia and was reported missing from sf general mental health back on may 20th. now, the health department said this afternoon she was not a patient at zuckerberg san francisco general hospital and trauma center. there are several different health facility's on this campus and she my have recieved treatment there.it's also unclear how anderson was able to gain access to the power building, which is not normally a place patients and staff go. this afternoon we were able to speak with anderson's daughter on the phone and she says the family is very upset. the hospital has also vowed to figure out how this happened. abel street. police say ánoland terlepá attacked an employee stocking merchandise just before three o'clock. the employee was treated for several non-life threatening injuries. terlep was arrested without incident. he was booked into santa clara county jail where he faces attempted murder charges. ( robin )bart riders are becoming more and more concerned as needles keep showing up on train seats. we first told you about a bart rider sending out this picture on social media... finding yet ááanother needle on a train seat. we spoke with that rider about the disturbing discovery... who says at first he thought it was odd that no one was sitting in the two seats on bart and then quickly discovered why. plans to ride bart despite coming across the needles. however, he says he will be much more careful when sitting down. this latest disturbing discovery comes less than one week after woman was pricked by a needle while sitting on bart... she is currently going through treatment. mayor harry kim signed a second supplementary emergency proclamation.that extends the state of emergency due to the ongoing threat.he also advised more evacuations, saying those who stay put are risking their lives.nat sound of warning "highway 132 is being shut down between lava tree state park to four corners due to a fast moving lava flow approaching the highway."state officials say roughly 25- hundred people have been displaced since the volcano began erupting earlier this month.authorities say lava from the kilauea volcano has already destroyed at least 75 homes.petra wiesenbauer/leila ni estates resident"it's really hard to believe, you know, especially when you see how little is left of a big house and really it's all just ashes."the lava from fissure eight is still flowing....at times erupting to more than 200-feet high.lava has also overtaken two wells at the puna geothermal venture plant. and state crews are removing solidified lava from previous eruptions in order to open a

( robin ) back here at home... a southwest airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at san jose international airport wednesday afternoon. they landed after pilots smelled smoke in the cockpit. southwest confirmed that a passenger was... allegedly smoking in the bathroom. the flight was traveling from s-f-o to l-a-x... and made the landing at just after 4 in the afternoon.. the flight landed safely and taxied to the gate... under its own power. ( robin )in the east bay... brush fires and windy weather kept crews busy wednesday. firefighters battled several grass fires throughout the evening. most burned near the byron highway... at the alameda county line. officials had to close the highway from camino diablo ...

torched a major apartment construction site in concord. you are looking at surveillance video of the person authorities say is responsible for the massive fire... that completely destroyed the five-story complex back on april 24th. a-t-f officials have released this video as key piece of evidence-- saying that the fire was intentionally set... causing 55-million-dollars in damage at the site. ( robin ) the a-t-f is offering a reward up to 25-thousand- dollars for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible. to appeal a court ruling ... that would allow the development of a ácoal export terminalá in west oakland. this comes weeks after a federal judge overturned the city's 20-16 decision to ban the shipping of five million tons of coal every year ... through the terminal. judge vince chhabria had ruled... the city council failed to prove coal shipment would endanger the health and safety of residents. the appeal will be filed next month. warriors have issued a fraud alert for nba finals tickets. the team said last year during the finals.... it saw more fake tickets .. than any other playoff series in the past. kron 4's gabe slate has details to prevent you from getting ripped off this time around. warriors team officials say 20 to 50 fans a game during the regular season are denied entry to oracle arena due to counterfeit tickets over 800 fans showed up with fake tickets just this past regular seasonduring last year's finals the number of fraudulent tickets increased by 70% per game per game compared to the regular season. so the warriors issued this fraud alert to warn fans to be careful before dropping all that money on a finals game. brandon schneider -- warriors chief revenue officer " we want people to

8-year-old boy jumping out of his mom's car to help and elederly woman up a flight of stairs. according to duncan.. who took the video.... the boy noticed the woman struggling and acted fast to help. the boy held the woman's walker steady... and held her back as she climbed the stairs. as soon as she was safely up... the boy gets a hug... and he runs back to his mother and carried on with his day. vert sweet..we can learn a lot from that young man. we need more acts of kindess like that.+ ( robin )coming up at 5 on the kron 4 morning news... we're only hours away from tonights big game against the cavs. we head to oracle arena... where preparations are being made for game 1.. in a live report. ( darya ) powerful winds made a mess in parts of san francisco. about a dozen trees came crashing down. some causing damage and narrowly missing people. public works received more than a dozen calls about downed trees. the city says it relies on citizen reports to catch a falling branch before it injures someone.

found dead in a san francisco general hospital stairwell.( james ) ruby anderson had a dementia... and she had been missing for ten days. kron 4's lydia pantazes joins us live from san francisco. lydia.... ( lydia ) the body of 76-year old ruby lee anderson was discovered in the stairway of a the power plant building here behind me on wednesday afternoon.anderson, a dementia patient, was reported missing from sf general mental health on may 20. it is not part of the hospital where patients or staff members would normally be walking around. it is occupied mostly by maintenance and engineering staff.the case is being investigated by the department of public health, san francisco sheriff, and other agencies.investigators are combing through surveillance video.we spoke with anderson's daughter over the phone.in 2013, a patient named lynn spalding went missing from the hospital and

( james ) state lawmakers want to expand healthcare. their proposals include covering some undocumented immigrants -- and lowering premiums for those with insurance. one senate bill would add more seniors to medi-cal -- regardless of immigration status and increase eligibility for those with disabilities. and an assembly bill -- calls for expanding medi-cal to undocumented immigrants between the oagesf 19 and 25. for a man who robbed another man in a safeway parking lot. it happened yesterday afternoon on camino tassajara in danville. the victim -- who was looking to buy an apple watch -- met the thief in the parking lot. he says the thief threatened him... and took his wallet. the thief then drove off in a gray toyota prius that did not have license plates. the car also had a lyft ridesharing sticker on the front and back windows. ( james ) milpitas police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing at a seven-11. it happened last friday on west calaveras boulevard near south abel street. police say noland terlep attacked an employee. the employee was treated for non-life threatening injuries. terlep was arrested without incident. he was booked into santa clara county jail where he faces attempted murder charges.
