( robin )another big race we are following... the mayor's race in san francisco.three candidates are going head to head. here's a look at the leaders right now... london breed... jane kim... and mark leno. right now the race is ástill too close to call. kron 4's michelle kingston is in san francisco... with more on london breed. sot (0-9)michelle kingston, @mkingstonnews"hundreds of people packed delancey's for london breed's election night party, standing by watching the numbers and celebrating all of her hard work."take a look here, you can see as she is walking through the crowd, all smiles, as her supporters cheered for her as she arrived tuesday night. she spent the day touring the city by trolley, and meeting with voters and supporters. some of the youngest stopping to give her big hugs. she had lunch at john's grill and spoke to us about all of her excitement.

( robin ) for the second week in a row police are investigating a death that happened at the zuckerburg san francisco general hospital. police were notified monday morning of the death of a hospital patient. this is less than a week after the body of ruby anderson was found in a plant building. anderson had been reported missing on may 20th from the hospital. ( robin )a northern california teacher who accidentally fired a gun inside a classroom... will not face any charges. it happened in monterey county in march when dennis alexander was demonstrating gun safety. the district attorney's office announced tuesday that alexander did not commit a crime when he fired into a ceiling. prosecutors also say alexander didn't violate any laws when he allowed students to take selfies with his gun. california has a law banning teachers from bringing guns to school-- but the teacher was allowed to carry guns on campus because he is a reserve police

officer. alexander has since resigned from his teaching job. ( robin )in the north bay... a woman is behind bars this morning. she's accused of breaking into a car. taysha barksdale was arrested at an apartment in suisun. that's after fremont police investigated a may 18th car break-inon gateway boulevard. officers tracked down the suspect's car using surveillancevideo from a nearby business..... police believe the 25-year-old suspect is tied to other car burglaries throughout the north bay. in the east bay... suspected gang member, marquise holloway pleaded no contest in the killing of an oakland artist. antonio ramos was fatally shot in oakland three years ago while working on a mural. police say they believe the gun used in the shooting was stolen from a u-s immigrations agent in san francisco. holloway admitted that he shot ramos... but claims it was an accident. ( robin )in san francisco... police are hoping witnesses or surveillance video.... will help them find the person who pushed a mother carrying her baby in noe valley sunday. kron 4's maureen kelly reports, the attack left the victim with life - threatening injuries. it was just after 6 pm sunday evening here near the corner of 28th and sanchez streets. officers responded to a call of a woman bleeding from the head. upon their arrival they found a woman who had a deep

laceration to the top of her head and she had one of those wraparound body carriers baby carriers she had her six month old baby inside of that. the woman stated that she had been bumped or push and fellpolice say the a 37 year old woman suffered a brain hemmorage and needed surgery, but the baby girl was uninjured.this sand on the sidewalk is where she fell.....near where the cement is buckling.a friend of the victim who did not want to go on camera say the victim's sister happened to face time her at the moment of the attack, saw the phone drop, and heard the words i've been hit and the sound of a baby crying. she says it's scary to think someone would attack a mother carrying her baby. police aren't calling this a robbery since the victim still had her purse, her wallet and her phone they are now looking for anyone who saw what happened or any surveillance

bay... the woman who was killed monday after driving the wrong way on i-680 near walnut creek.... has been identified as 32 year old crystal beauvais (be-vay)of oakland. the c-h-p says she was headed north in the southbound lanes near livorna road when she crashed into a concrete center divider... and was pronounced dead at the ( robin )and the teenager who died in a head on crash monday in brentwood... has been identified as 17 year old emily alarcon reyes of palo alto. the crash happened yesterday afternoon on vasco road... just south of walnut boulevard. officials say a jeep veered over into oncoming traffic and hit a tow truck. another passenger in the jeep suffered major injuries from the accident... and the driver of the tow truck suffered minor injuries. ( robin )auto burglars are still targeting vehicles... parked at a pair of starbucks locations in the east bay. tuesday investigators found 'smash and grab'

it's a full on party inside "folsom foundry" right now. volunteers have been working tirelessly on jane kim's campaign ... and the hope is that all the hard work kim has put in over the years resonated with voters.with more than a decade of service on the board of supervisors and the education board, kim calls herself a progressive. she fights for middle class renters, tenant protection, low income housing, and minimum wage.kim also led the initiative that made san francisco the first city in the nation to make city college free for its residents. her team of volunteers have knocked on a hundred thousand doors and held over a hundred house parties. they believe she is the candidate that can create change in the city. kim's affordable uiversal childcare proposal, and other campaign proposals have won supporters over..sotstandup back in 2016, jane kim ran head to head against scott weiner for a seat in the state senate.she now believes she has what it takes be be mayor of san francisco.reporting

( sara ) democrat gavin newsom won tuesday's primary in the race for california governor and republican john cox finished in a strong second place. here is a look at the numbers. cox finished well ahead of former los angeles major antonio villargosa. cox got a major boost after president trump's endorsement. and newsom is already taking aim at the white house. < cox - "mr. newsom and his corrupt cronies made -- they did a bunch of touting their opposition to their president. well let's send him the very first message and that is it wasn't donald trump who made california the highest taxed state in the

( darya ) in santa clara co... voters have recalled judge aaron persky. judge persky was targeted back in 2016... after he sentenced former stanford brock turner to six months in jail for sexually assaulting a young woman outside a fraternity house on campus. prosecutors had argued for a 7-year prison sentence. critics say the sentence was too lenient. persky argued he was following the law when he issued the sentence.

county teacher who accidentally fired a gun inside a classroom will ánot face any charges. this happened back in march... when dennis alexander was demonstrating gun safety in his seaside classroom. the district attorney's office says alexander did ánot commit a crime when he fired into a ceiling. alexander also allowed students to take selfies with his gun... but prosecutors say that's not a crime either. california law bans teachers from bringing guns to school. but alexander is a reserve police officer... so he was allowed to carry. alexander has since resigned from his teaching job. county teacher who accidentally fired a gun inside a classroom will ánot face any charges. this happened back in march... when dennis alexander was demonstrating gun safety in his seaside classroom. the district attorney's office says alexander did ánot commit a crime when he fired into a ceiling. alexander also allowed students to take selfies with his gun... but prosecutors say that's not a crime either. california law bans teachers from bringing guns to school. but alexander is a reserve police officer... so he was allowed to carry. alexander has since resigned from his teaching job. accident nb 101 at brokaw. accident nb 101 at tullybay bridge wb 80 is less then 30 min from the maze to sf. ( james ) take a look at this... a meteor the size of a car came crashing down near a farm in south africa. this happened over the weekend. scientists say it was falling through the atmosphere at more than 27- thousand miles per hour. it burned up in the sky and exploded seconds before impact ... 30 miles above ground. nasa says the space rock was too small to pose any real danger.
