no major hot spots. bay bridge wb 80 is le it is pretty quiet around the bay area, your ride into san francisco looks pretty good. no major hotspots. if you leave now your drive time is eight minutes. leave now, it is only 13 minutes to make it from hayward over to san mateo. no delays leading to the toll plaza, i will give you about an hour before it really starts to pick up. no problems heading out to 101. let's pick up some numbers around the bay area.

we have the east shore that is 90 minutes from crockett down to the oakland maze. westbound 24 looks pretty good. no big problems for 580 through castro valley in oakland. just 10 minutes from 238 to 980. tonight could be the last night of the nba playoffs if the golden state warriors pull off a 4-0 win. this will be their third nba title in four years. golden state help practice yesterday. with the win over the cavaliers friday golden state will become the first team to sweep their component. we explain how this could be different from prior years. police say a 35-year-old male was shot in the parking lot area. that victim was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition. on to san francisco where one person is dead and two others are hurt after a shooting in the mission district. police still searching for who is responsible. the shooting happened on thursday afternoon. >>reporter: a triple shooting erupted thursday afternoon. >> officers responded to the 1400 block regarding gunshots. >>reporter: that is where they found a man in his 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. he was taken to the hospital where he died. >> we had two other victims that were self transported. this point.">investigators still combing the scene for evidence..residents we spoke to off camera say there have been multiple shootings here

over the last year..but police did say this appears to be an isolated incident ( robin )two people have been arrested for the fatal shooting of a man in antioch. felton clifton is believed to have shot alvin crane back on february 21. clifton was arrested on may 31 on suspicion of murder. kelly corbitt has also been arrested on suspicion of murder. corbitt was released on wednesday. contra costa county prosecutors have filed charges against both suspects. ( robin ) on the peninsula... one person is recovering after a shooting near redwood city. it happened around nine last night on westmoreland avenue. the victim who was shot is expected to survive. no other details are being released. police are still searching for the shooter this morning. ( robin )a santa rosa woman was injured after being attacked by a bison. it happened at yellowstone national park on wednesday. it's the park's third animal attack this week. reports

say a bison charged a crowd that got too close to the animal in the lower geyser basin. the bison charged the woman who suffer a hip injury but is in good condition. park officials say some people in the crowd came within 15 feet of the bison... when a safe distance is at least 75 feet. ( robin )happening this morning in san francisco... high school students will hand over a 25-thousand dollar check... to a free a 17- year-old asylym seeker who is in ice custody. the teen -- named hamid -- left afghanistan because of the taliban. he's been in custody for 6 months. but today he will be released thanks to students from "june jordan high school." they're part of a group called "415 unidos for freedom"... they're focused on spreading awareness about immigrant rights. ( robin ) berkeley city workers have voted to authorize a possible strike. 99-percent of workers who

voted have approved the strike. city workers have negotiated for better pay for the last two months. they say city managers have used surveillance to intimidate workers... and that the city is not properly protecting their safety. the workers will meet with city officials three times before june 15th to try to come to an agreement before they go on striek. ( robin ) pier 39 has joined the "skip the straw" movement and is dedicated to reducing the use of plastic straws on the property. this morning at ten peir 39 will hold a press conference to announce the pier's support of reducing plastic debris in the bay in conjuction with world oceans day. all 14 full-service restaurants... all of the eateries.. as well as blue and gold fleet with adeventure cat sailing will con ( robi)voters are anxiously waiting for the

results.... on who will lead their city. but... the mayor's race... is still too close to call. it could be a few days before we find out who won. over 8- thousand votes were counted yesterday... and about 5- thoundsand vote by mail ballots... still have to be verified. the department estimates that there are still about 84-thousand ballots left to count. director john arntz estimates the work will continue through the weekend... and probaly into next week.

world.... but not everyone is happy this event is taking place. john lorinc reports. protesters take to the streets in canada.....voicing their opposition to the g-7 summit. mos/protester"our planet is not going good, because we know that we have to change things on this earth to make it better living for everyone." there is a heavy security presence in quebec city, where the summit is taking place, but the demonstrations have been mostly peaceful.some of the protesters chanted anti- capitalist slogans...nat sound of protester"sack de peanut." others blasted the leaders taking part in the summit. mos/protester"it's as if they are the bad guys and they have something to defend."as for inside the summit, there may be some tense moments.leaders from canada, france, germany and the united kingdom are set to give president trump grief about the new u-s tariffs on aluminum and steel.both canadian and french officials are reportedly planning to tell president trump the tariffs could harm the u-s economy.something the trump administration is downplaying.

( robin )49-thousand pounds of fireworks ... seized... in one of the largest busts in state history. a multi- agency effort... ended with seven arrests tied to a large-scale, illegal fireworks ring. kron 4's gabe slate has the story. nats - fireworks cal fire says - on average each year, fireworks start over 18,000 fires in california 1,300 of those being structure fires, and 300 being vehicle fires. and these yearly fires from fireworks on average cause three deaths, 40 injuries, and

( robin ) police in redding say they found a stolen van... with more than a dozen show dogs inside. that van was headed for vallejo. these are pictures of the dogs after they were rescued this morning. the van was stolen yesterday from an in-and-out parking lot. a professional dog trainer was driving the dogs to a dog show in vallejo-- and left the van running when he went inside to get lunch. officers say the van was found this morning in a remote, wooded area south

of redding. they say the van was locked and parked in direct sunlight. the officers then broke a window to get inside and rescue all 14 dogs. the dogs are now okay and being returned to their owners. ( robin )in the north bay... a dog is safe tonight... after being rescued from a burning boat. take a look. the incident happened at five in the morning yesterday... at a boat yard in san rafael. crews successfully put out the flames and saved this pit bull. the dog was reunited with his owners shortly after. no one was hurt. no word on what caused the boat to catch on fire. ( robin ) a stockton family says their dog is a hero... after the puppy pit bull helped alert them to a fire. as ken ma-shin-chi reports... what the dog did may have saved lives. as flames engulfed parts of a fourplex on east yorkshire drive in stockton a little after midnight on nd unlikely hero made sure everyone got out safelyshe's scared8 month old pit bull sasha helped warn nana chaichanhda that the fire was next door by banging on the

backyard doornana chaichanhda, lost home to firei open it and she runs in and starts barking at me like crazy and i was like ok, this is weird. this is not like her.nana quickly noticed her cousin's building was on fire, and raced into the bedroom to grab her 7 month old daughter when she saw sasha by herchaichanhdashe had already had my baby by the diaper and was dragging her off the bed. i was like oh my gosh, what are you doing?fire crews responded within minutes of the initial 911 call, and though the flames only reached her attic, nana's home is now unlivable. her cousin was not home at the time of the fire nat?nana and her cousin are now staying with their aunts that also live in the four-plexas they try to start over after losing their homes, nana is thankful for her pup's heroics and hopes it changes people's view of pit bulls as family petschaichanhdait meant a lot. i owe her everything. if it wasn't for her, i would have still been in bed and things could have taken a worse turn.

problem in san francisco. kron four's philippe djegal tells us it's a crime that the d-a's office... is working tirelessly to take down. (philippe) in february... san francisco district attorney george gascon says an undercover police officer responded to an advertisement on a website frequented by human traffickers... backpage-dot-com. the young girl pictured whose services were being offered turned out to be 17-years-old. the offic er received a reply setting up a date at a downtown san francisco hotel, also donation -- which gascon george gascon/district attorney- "i

believe it was $260. uh, the undercover personnel from san francisco police department went, they met the victim immediately. uh, they seized her phone, they started looking, they realized that this was a probably a case of human trafficking, and then the investigation evolved from there." in april, gascon says a team effort between his office's crime strategies unit, the san francisco police department and federal agents... led to the arrest of 19-year-old kriz mike nunez of san francisco. he faces 27 felony counts of human trafficking and pimping of a minor. all stemming from just one victim.frank carrubba/da's office- "they were trafficked, um, all over the united states. um, including as far away as

report... on that deadly tesla autopilot crash in mountain view last march. the n-t-s-b says that the driver did ánot have his hands on the wheel ... and there was no audible warning ... even while his car was accelerating into a crash barrier on highway 101. all of that data was downloaded from the car's onboard computer. joe belen has the story. a little before nine thirty, apple engineer walter huang was driving southbound in the diamond lane of 101.he was approaching what traffic engineers call a "gore point," the barrier separating the left=hand exit ramp for highway 85.huang's tesla suddenly served into the cushioned crash attentuator at the tip of the concrete barrier.the impact split it in

( darya ) breaking news... world famous chef and t-v host anthony bourdain has died. according to c-n-n, bourdain was found dead in his hotel room in france earlier this morning. he had taken his own life. bourdain was in france working on an upcoming episode of his award-winning series for c-n-n. through his tv shows and books, he explored the human condition and tried to help audiences

one person is recovering... after being shot near redwood city. it happened wednesday night on westmoreland avenue. police are looking for the gunman. ( darya ) berkeley city workers berkeley city workers have voted to authorize a possible strike. 99-percent of workers who voted have approved the strike. city workers have negotiated for better pay for the last two months. they say city managers have used surveillance to intimidate workers... and that the city is not properly protecting their safety. the workers will meet with city officials three times before june 15th to try to come to an agreement before they go on strike. a traffic stop in new jersey ... led to a surprise reunion between the state trooper and the driver.( james ) trooper michael patterson pulled over matthew bailly for having tinted windows. they got to talking ... and bailly said he was a former piscataway police officer. patterson told him he grew up there and and mentioned his street. ( darya ) the surprise came when bailly mentioned he once helped to deliver a baby on that same street. < and then he said, the baby's name was michael. how he remembered that i don't know. but he said the baby's name was michael, so i extended my hand and i said, 'sir, my name is michael patterson, thank you for helping to deliver me.">( james ) its a reunion nearly 27 years in the making.

world famous chef and t-v host anthony bourdain has died. according to c-n-n, bourdain was found dead in his hotel room in france earlier this morning. he had taken his own life. bourdain was in france working on an upcoming episode of his award-winning series for c-n-n. through his tv shows and books, he explored the human condition and tried to help audiences think differently about food and travel. in 2013 bourdain was awarded the peabody award. his t-v career started when he hosted "a cook's tour" network, then "anthony reservations" on the travel channel beofre joining c-n-n in 2013. he has also made several trips to restaurants in the bay area. bourdain was 61 years old. his death comes after fashion designer kate spade suicide at her apartment on suicide is a growing united states.states experienced a by more than 30% in 2016. if you or anybody you know needs help there is a number you can call. it's the national suicide prevention hotline. it is on your screen... 1-800- 273-8255. ( darya ) a triple shooting in san francisco's mission district leaves one person dead and two others hurt. it happened yesterday afternoon on treat avenue near cesar chavez street. police found one man... who's been identified as jaime poole... suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. hken to the hospital where he died. two other people took themselves to the hospital for gunshot wounds. the video shows a man dressed in a suit -- and wearing a beanie -- carrying a suitcase while walking down the street. he then walks past a man sleeping on the sidewalk. but moments later he walks back and kicks the man in the face two times... and then walks away. the tenderloin police station released the video... but it's when or exactly where it happened. ( james ) an undercover police officer helped rescue a 17-year-old girl from human trafficking. the officer responded to an advertisement on a website that is commonly used by human traffickers... back page dot com. the officer met the girl at a hotel in downtown san francisco. she asked him for a donation... which is commonly used as cover for a service payment. the officer then took the girl's phone and realized it was a human trafficking case. through the investigation police learned she was part of a larger trafficking situation... and arrested kriz mike nunez for arrested kriz mike nunez for 17 counts of human trafficking.
