brisbane after a truck carrying hot sauce bottles overturned. this is video of the scene on monday morning-- on northbound 101 at the bayshore offramp. the driver of the truck says the load shifted.. causing it to overturn. the truck was filled with various types of sauces that spilled on the roadway. no one was hurt in the incident. (robin) plus... a u-s air force officer who went missing over three decades ago... has been found ááalive in the bay area... search is on for a hit and run driver that crashed into a home near half moon bay. the crash was captured on video. as kron 4's gabe slate explains... the homeowner learned about this crash because of his security web cameras. nats - noise just after 8 pm on june 7th the chp says a black bmw m coupe was was driving recklessly on magellan avenue in miramar, which is just north of half moon bay. the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into david hodge's house. sound from david hodge - car ran into home "i think the most chilling part is the guy just drove off without wondering if he killed anybody " david hodge is currently in sweedan, where he has been since before the crash his web security camera system alerted him of the crash, he logged into his account and watched the video. thankfully no one was hurt but david said it's a highly trafficked area. and he his haunted by the thought that his kid could have been run

(robin) in the east bay... a dispute between a landlord and a tenant .... ends with death threats and a kidnapping. oakland police say it started with a disagreement. an oakland tenant kidnapped his 70-year-old landlord and assaulted her family member. the tenant hit the relative and then put the elderly woman into his car.. he threatened to kill her multiple times. he led police on a chase from oak street to lorenzo avenue. he eventually surrended and police say the victim is safe. < "no one got hurt as far as the victim of the kidnapping. the suspect was safely taken into custody and the family member who was assaulted by this tenant, he has received medical attention">(robin) for now the tenant remains behind bars and the 70- year-old landlord has been reunited with her family. wednesday hughes was captured during a passport fraud investigation. after claiming to be barry o berine, he was confronted about inconsistencies about his identify and admitted to being hughes. hughes told authorities he was depressed about being in the air force and decided to leave, creating the false identity standup dan kerman/sf: hughes has been charged with desertion and is being held at travis air force base. he faces up to five years of confinement, forfeiture of all pay and a dishonorable discharge. dan kerman kron4 news.113/std (robin) take a look at this ... dash cam video of an illinois police officer saving this toddler from a busy highway last month. at one point, a large truck can be seen passing within a few feet of the child. the officer pulled over immediately and began chasing the boy, who ran away from him. he was able to grab the boy and pull him out of harm's way. the child wondered away from his home while his mom was in another room... the department awared the sergeant a life saving award last week for his heroic work. no

traveling the country to treat police officers for their service to their communities. tyler carach handed out donuts at the polk county river center in des moines, iowa. dunkin donuts donated the donuts given to police officers... but carach's project is funded through donations on gofundme. he said it all started one day when he asked his mom if he could buy some police officers a box of mini donuts at his local grocery store. < "and then i asked my mom why were they so happy over a snack. and she said it wasn't because of a snack because they get snacks all the time, its because you said thank you.">(robin) carach and his mother have traveled to 30 states in the last two years to deliver thousands of donuts to police officers. adorable pig found roaming around concord. contra costa animal services says the pig is in good condition and doesn't look like it has been abused. they are looking for the owner but say the pig will have to stay with them until thursday. a spokeperson for the agency says this is actually not the first time they have picked up a stray pig. apparently they routinely get calls for loose farm animals in the area. natural grocery sift through and pick the food they want to buy... the stuff that doesn't make the shelves gets packed up in the back -- headed to another destination. jon berman/store manager- "this is a piece of rubarb, and its got some blemishes on it, you cut that away and its just as good as any product we have on our shelf." jon berman is the store manager, partnering with the alameda county community food bank and it's grocery rescue program. jon berman/store manager- "we won't give anything that we don't trust completely -- that we wouldn't eat ourselves." twice a week... berkeley natural grocery boxes up perfectly edible and safe food that otherwise may be thrown out... then donates it to the berkeley food pantry, which picks up the boxes, and, organizes the items at it's

this out... a true act of sportsmanship at a high school baseball game in minnesota. after striking out his friend... pitcher ty koehn choose consolation over celebration. koehn gave jack kocon a long hug and walked him back toward his dugout... before joining his teammates to celebrate. koehn and kocon played little league together before going to different high schools... but they're still close friends. koehn and his team are now moving on to the state quarter finals.
