underage. as a parent, would you be okay with your child getting into the car with a stranger? any parent should be freaked out about that, uber or not when this uber driver gets behind the wheel, she's got two top priorities: safety and following company rules. including no customers under 18 isabella who chose not to share her last name or identity.... wants passengers and parents to understand this policy.i will not accept anybody under the age of 18. if you look like that, and you cannot provide a form of id, i will cancel. i'm not willing to take the risk. as it turns out, isabella knows all too well the struggle of parenting and juggling schedules. she's also a mother.. .and married to another uber driver. she admits, it's tough for working parents but, she's not willing to break the rules. at the same time, she knows she could get a bad rating if she cancels a ride.you know, we're pinged for that. it brings our cancellations rate up and as far as uber is concerned, when they look at that, it goes against us as drivers. i wouldn't risk it, he means too much to me this working father of three understands the temptation to use uber for transporting his kids... but ultimately ... wouldn't try it. it's a constant struggle. i could see why people would do it, i just don't think it would be a good idea

great time.. it was myself, pam, a few people in our sales department as well as our general manager chris mcdonnell. our assigment was to help bag produce.. which is something the food bank does on a daily basis. because they are perishable items like oranges and carrots.. they need to get them bagged and distributed as soon as possible. the food bank has a 100 regular workers .. but a lot of people to feed so they tell us they rely heavily on volunteers.. which are the equavilent of 50 full time employees. some days they have up to 70 and some days it's only about 20.20-percent of the food are donations.. and the rest are bought at a small fee from manufacturers across california and costal states. wilken louie/alameda county community food bankwe are just basically paying what is called a value added fee to have the second quality produce that is still quite edible but not aesthetically pleasing to top retailers available for food banks. but as you can see some of the wuality here just as good as the ones that you would find at whole foods, safeway you name it.pam moore/kron 4 news

(grant) in the north bay. more than twenty cars need to be fixed... after they were vandalized. the damage was done early this morning before four a.m. it happened in american canyon...in the areas of via bellagio...sarcedo.. and cantada. authorities searched the area...but were unable to find the person or people responsible. officers did...however...find enough evidence for fingerprint testing. police are currently reviewing home surveillance footage from homes in the area for clues. (grant) also in the north bay. a man is behind bars tongiht...accused of attacking a truck driver who was in his cab. it happened early yesterday morning on weller street in petaluma. the 65-year-old truck driver was sleeping...when 44-year-old damion grissom banged on the door. and when the truck driver opened the door... officers say

grissom attacked him with a blunt instrument...then punched him. invesitgators say grissom ran off...but dropped his wallet inside the truck...leading police to his location. grissom was arrested and booked into sonoma county jail on $30 thousand bail. (vicki) in the east bay... alameda county health officials say they're seeing a major spike in whooping cough cases. from january through may-- there were 180 cases of whooping cough... most cases involved teenagers. back in 20- 17... there were only 40 cases. whooping cough is highly contagious. it spreads when an infected person coughs, sneezes or even talks. pregnant women and people who are near and around infants and children are encouraged to get vaccinated. a texas mother is speaking out tonight after she says she was harassed at a hotel pool in southern california. she believes it was because of the color of her skin. kareen wynter has details. natsa confrontation captured on cell phone video between an irate mother and an unidentified man here at pasadena's westin hotel who reportedly claimed he was a health inspector.that mom who only wanted to use her last name wheeler said she and her family including her 5 year old daughter were visiting from texas for summer vacation. wheeler said that man approached her and her child as it were swimming in the hotel pool asking if they had showered before entering the water.natsthat person allegedly continue to harass the family telling them according to wheeler that

inside a kansas community center. the incident, which happened during a wedding reception last month, was caught on surveillance video. tom dempsey talked to the mom. sarah goodman remembers the wedding reception at tomahawk ridge community center starting off with plenty of celebration. sarah goodman "i think there was a few different parties going on; bridal showers birthday parties." a joyous occasion that in a moment turned into something much different. sarah goodman "i hear yelling, where is your mother?" surveillance video capturing sarah's 5 year old son hugging a sculpture on display before it topples over on top of him. he struggles for a bit when suddenly it falls to the ground. after rushing to help sarah soon learned the sculpture's price tag. sarah goodman "maybe this is like 800 or something. no it's a hundred and thirty two thousand dollars. i'm sorry. we're finished here." damaged that an insurance company said the family would be on the hook to pay for. sarah goodman "my children are well supervised but all people get distracted." the two parents are now questioning the safety of the display. sarah goodman

(ken) new at 6. this july, the navy is expected to begin retesting the former shipyard at hunters point for toxic and radioactive waste. (pam) this, after allegations of fraud by navy contractor tetra tech ... which was reportedly paid 1- billion dollars by the navy, to clean up contamination ahead of a planned housing development. two former tetra tech supervisors have already pleaded guilty to charges of faking soil samples in the area. tetra tech issued a statement saying, that it stands by the work... and believes re-testing will show the company's work met the navy's standards.
