(grant)breaking news - two children were hurt after an apartment fire in antioch. this is new video from the scene.the flames broke out in a 12 unit apartment building -- just after 1:30 this afternoon near barcelona circle and buchanan road. the two children hurt were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire. (grant) another big story tonight... a 27-year-old san francisco woman was killed by a stray bullet while leaving a restaurant in an upscale area of mexico city. (vicki) kron4's maureen kelly has reaction to the tragic loss from the victims friends and family. bullet casings and shattered glass mark the scene outside the taqueria where 27 year old tatiana miruntenko (mare-you- tenko)was gunned down saturday. mexican authorities say the victim was struck by a stray bullet fired by gunmen

aiming for a bar bouncer inside the eatery . the crime happening in an upscale section of mexico city. the bouncer was hospitalized, and a manhunt is underway for the shooters. the 27 year old victim vacationing with her husband and friends, celebrating the couple's one year wedding anniversary. today her husband answered the buzzer at the home they shared in this mission bay building.....but he declined to go on camera.tatiana seen here with her family, grew up outside chicago.....in a phone interview her sister roma, who you see on the right, called tatiana her best friend. saying "i don't know how i'm going to survive without her, but with her memory and knowing how amazing she was to every single person that she ever came across, i will use that to incorporate into my life to be as great as she was to honor her memory."tatiana worked forsan francisco-based biopharmaceutical company. nektar therapeutics. it a statement a company spokes person described a loss as their of their employee as devastating as they described tatiana is someone valued for her positive energy, insight and shira enthusiasm for life lessons as they say she'll be incredibly missed maureen kelly kron four news

(grant) it's been four days since an oregon woman was last seen passing through the bay area on her way to southern california. and, now, the san mateo county sheriff's office is calling 23- year-old angela hernandez's disappearance suspicious. kron four's philippe djegal spoke with woman's family -- desperate to find her. (philippe)christina ambriz/sister- "she is very loved by a lot of friends and family and strangers even at this point, and we just want her home." christina ambriz says the last time her family heard from her 23-year- old sister angela hernandez was before eight o'clock friday morning... when she spoke with her other sister letting her know where she was... and, where she was going. angela started her road trip from her home in portland oregon. a family wedding in lancaster in southern california is her intended destination. she stopped behind this safeway in

half moon bay and spent thursday night in her car -- a white 20-11 jeep patriot with oregon plates. she then spoke with her other sister saying she was continuing south towards davenport. christina ambriz/sister- "there was a nine hour gap from leaving here when she text us about to say i'm leaving here to the point where her phone pinged in davenport. and, we all know, even me not living here, around here, doesn't take nine hours to get from this point to davenport. so, i don't know if someone held her against her will for that length of time and continued with her car and ditched it somewhere. or, something happened -- i just don't know." half moon bay to davenport is more like a 45 minute drive. the san mateo county sheriff's office says the santa cruz county sheriff's office helped search the coastline in the air and on the ground, but nothing turned up. detective rosemerry blankswade says active searches have been suspended... but that investigators are still following up on leads. rosemerry blankswade/smcso- "based on all of the circumstances, we're definitely considering it suspicious circumstance christina ambriz/sister- "we want her home and we want her safe and as soon as possible. the sooner the better." christina says her family is not wealthy... but that

take a look at this... four young people -- caught on camera raiding an apple store in fresno..-- and making off with 27-thousand with 27-and making off with 27- thousand dollars in charged in and ripped out more than two-dozen mac-books, ipads and iphones. the store has a hands-off policy -- meaning workers do not intervene during robberies. but a customer who tried to block the doorway -- was

knocked down. the customer was not hurt. police say the thieves jumped into a nearby vehicle and took off. police say the suspects never showed any weapons. no arrests have been made. (vicki) a warning after an 18-year-old was burned by her cell phone. she says she fell asleep on her i-phone-7... and woke up to a large burn on her arm. we want to warn you-- some might find the images disturbing. jason marks reports. "the complex rescue operation brought hundreds of experts flying in from around the world to help.british divers found the group huddled on a muddy bank eight days ago. the first four children were brought out on sunday, the second batch on monday, and the rest were freed today . each boy was attached by a rope to a rescuer and escorted by two divers.the conditions challenged even the most experienced. (vicki) in the south bay... protesters gathered outside of google's annual marketing conference today. they are upset with the company's proposed campus in san jose. kro4's lydia pantazes explains why. they'll be protesting google's plans to build a new 8 million sq ft mega-campus in san jose. this isn't the first time the group has protested the construction of the mega campus.organizers of the

protest say the new development will lead to increases in evictions, homelessness and displacement. they are asking google to negotiate an agreement with the community to protect residents from the impacts of tech gentrification when the tech giant comes to san jose. some of the demands include: -allocating 25% of units in any residential developments for the lowest-income residents.-supporting legal defense for tenants facing eviction.-giving local residents first consideration for jobs.reporting live in san jose, lydia pantazes kron 4 news. to the protests... they released a statement reading in part... "we are engaged in an open dialogue with the san jose community surrounding our proposed development. we are listening to and working with the community and government officials to be a part of the solution for the concerns surrounding housing, gentrification, displacement, and employment opportunities." (grant) in the east bay... police in oakland have released two new videos they hope will help them solve two homicides. one video addresses the 20-16 shooting death of brian bole. that is the video on the left. the f-b-i and the oakland crime stoppers are offering 35- thousand dollars for information on that shooting. the other video addresses the 20-13 shooting death of aya na-ka-no. 125-thousand dollars is being offered for information in that case. (grant) an update now on the wildfire burning in napa and yolo counties. the fire started back on june 30th. so far it has burned more than 90-thousand acres and it is 80-percent contained. tonight all evacuation orders have been lifted-- but several roads remain closed. 20 structures have been destroyed in the fire. (grant) and the klamathon fire in siskiyou county along the california oregon border is still spreading tonight. it has covered more than 35- thousand acres .... and is 45 percent contained. 82 structures have been destroyed. several evacuation orders are in place. (vicki) a postal worker nearing retirement was found unresponsive in her mail truck in southern california -- on a record-hot day. attempts to revive her failed -- and she was pronounced dead at the scene. kareen er spoke with a family member -- who wants changes at the postal service. a dedicated postal worker with 28 years of service, close to retirement, peggy frank's sister lynn calkins says the beloved mail carrier had just returned to work for medical leave.her first day back in

months due to a broken ankle, when tragedy struck on friday. the 63 year old was found unresponsive in her mail delivery truck in this neighborhood, according to residents... as temperatures topped more than 115 degrees in the record breaking heat. lynn calkins/sister"i am really so sad because she retire really soon, now she can't." coroners confirmed that while an autopsy has been performed, the cause of death is still pending, so it's unclear how she died.but frank's family believes the extreme temperatures which they say give her heat stroke last year during the scorching summer months may have been a factor this time.lynn calkins/sister"and they need to do something, because you representative with the u.s. postal service said in a statement, it's been a very challenging time.our thoughts and prayers are with the employees family at this time. that spokesperson added, while mail trucks aren't equipped with air conditioning units (quote)--"the safety of employees is always a priority also that workers are reminded every day to stay hydrated where clothing and hats, carry sufficient amounts of water and ice and to stay in the shade as much as possible." possible."
