information about the man police are trying to track down. kron 4's terisa estacio is live in san mateo tonight with the details. terisa? police say they received a call from a person tuesday evening at 7pm - reporting that a sexual assault had just occured. officers arrived - and found the victim. they say the victim told them she was picked up by a ride share driver near the highway 92 and then took her to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her... the victim was able to escape and with the assistance of a person nearby, called 911 for help. as for the suspect, he fled the area.... take a look at this... this is a sketch of the suspect... he is described as a tall white male in his late 30s with a slender build... he was reportedly driving a gray 4 door sedan. sgt. amanda von glahn, san mateo police dept. authorities would not reveal whether they were pulling

(vicki)(vicki) and we are just learning about another rideshare driver arrest. police say 30-year-old kevin barillas-saballos picked up a woman in san francisco, drove her to union city, and sexually assaulted her. it happened back in july... but the man was just arrested this week. officers say the woman was intoxicated at the time of the incident. they say the man was employed by uber as a driver-- but was not working when the assault happened. he has been charged with false imprisonment, kidnapping, and sexual assault. tonight. no further plea deals will be considered for the two men charged in the deadly 2016 ghost ship warehouse fire. instead, alameda county d-a nancy o-malley is asking for a trial date to be set soon on the 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter derek almena and max harris both face. both men are scheduled to return to court tomorrow. last week, a judge rejected a plea deal that had been negotiated between lawyers for the two defendants and d-a o'malley's office. the judge said alemena did not express sufficient remorse for the 36 victims who died two years ago. (vicki) the man charged in the death of c-h-p officer kirk griess and another man is out of jail after posting 90-thousand dollars bail this morning. the arraignment of 36-year old sean matthew walker has now been postponed until september 12th. he is charged with gross vehicular manslaughter for allegedly speeding on the shoulder of highway 80 while looking at his cellphone.

plume of smoke started swirling around him... stoke radioed out a mayday call. he said he needed a water drop in the area. unfornunately it was too late... and the firenado reached up to speeds of 165 miles per hour. it covered 1 thousand feet and its temperature was 3-thousand degrees. it left a trail of damaged trees, rooftops, power line towers and cars. (grant) the biggest fire in state history is now 76-percent contained. the mendocino complex fire has burned more than 366-thousand acres. it's burning in lake... mendocino... colusa and lake counties. flames have destroyed close to 150 homes. more than a thousand buildings are still threatened tonight. p-d. (vicki) a kitten rescued from a freeway on the peninsula is now up for adoption. the kitten was found back in july near the ralson avenue exit on highway 101 in belmont. "leo" was trying to cross the freeway during the morning commute when he was found. he is up for adoption at the peninsula humane society and s-p-c-a in burlingame. tonight... a measles outbreak has hit almost 2 dozen states... including california. the center for disease control says so far this year 107 people in 21 states have contracted measles. in california, the health department says that there have been 18 confirmed cases of the virus this year. local health officials say measles is extremely contagious. they say if there's one child in a classroom coughing, that whole classroom can be exposed. fortunately measles is very preventable. the measles vaccine is about 95 percent effective and in california all kids are now required to be vaccinated before they start kindergarten. (terisa) police say they received a call from a person tuesday evening at 7pm - reporting that a sexual assault had just occured. officers arrived - and found the victim. they say the victim told them she was picked up by a ride share driver near the highway 92 and then took her to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her... the victim was able to escape and with the assistance of a person nearby, called 911 for help. as for the suspect, he fled the area.... take a look at this... this is a sketch of the suspect... he is described as a tall white male in his late 30s with a slender build... he was reportedly driving a gray 4 door sedan. sgt. amanda von glahn, san mateo police dept. authorities would not reveal whether they were pulling surveillance video from the area, including here where the victim was discovered at 1400 fashion island blvd... as you can see in this video there are multiple cameras set up... and while the investigation is active, authorities are reminding people to increase their awaremenss while using a
