game. it happened during a montgomery highchool football game friday night. a female teenager confronted at least two other female teens in the crowd and tried to assault them. the girl who initiated the confrontation walked away but realized a short time later that she had been stabbed. her injuries are serious but non life threatening. no arrests have been made but santa rosa police are looking for more information that could help them in their investigation, and are ofering a 25-hundred dollar ( marty ) police in oakland were busy dealing with large sideshows in various locations in east oakland overnight. these are pictures of numerous cars being towed away. oakland polcie say this was in the area of 42nd avenue and the 880 freeway. police said rocks and bottles were being thrown at officers. there were also reports of gunshots being fired by sideshow crowd members. happening today... thousands will fill the streets of san

jose... for the city's annual viva calle open street festival. it's part of the effort to bring people and communities together... to walk, bike, skate, and play. but there's a catch. and kron 4's sara stinson is there now live... with that catch and more. (sara) marty that's right viva calle sj invites all to come out on foot, bike, skateboards whatever to enjoy the street fair on first street and monterey road.this year - the popular electronic scooters like the one i'm on now...they're banned! and people are not happy about it. the city has not come up with a formal policy on e scooters so they want to avoid any problems...that's why they are asking people nicely to not have them on the route near viva calle sj or the 5k also happening here today.many people on social media have expressed concern about this

an e-coli outbreak linked to ground beef has turned deadly. issued this morning in san jose. according to the c-h-p, the south bound lanes of 101 at interstate 880 are blocked because of an accident. at this time there is no time of re- opening. so if you are heading out that way take extra caution, and give yourself more time.. ( marty ) the bart civic center station was closed briefly saturday because of an equipment problem. a viewer sent us this video of smoke filling the station last night. bart says it is possibly because of a blown insulator. and there was smoke...but no apparent fire. this caused delays, but that station re-opened last night. ( marty ) in sunnyvale.. over 40 volunteers gathered to knock out litter. they picked up over 8-hundred pounds of trash. in the past seven years the community has picked up almost 8- thousand pounds of litter. after the hard work, the volunteers were treated to an ice cream social. ( marty ) president trump is proposing new limits on green cards and visas. the

justice brett kavanaugh and take his seat on the supreme court of the united states of america.">( marty ) vice president pence says he and the president remain confident that brett kavanaugh will soon sit on the supreme court. and the bay area professor accusing kavanaugh of sexual assault is now expected to testify next week. lawyers for christine blaw-sey ford told the senate judiciary committee staff she 'accepts' the request to speak to the panel on thursday about the alleged incident. other terms of the public hearing are still being negotiated. ford alleges kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party when they were teenagers. kavanaugh denies the allegations and is also expected to testify about the charges. drug from school grounds, saying it violates federal law. her family fought the ban saying that brooke's seizures last two to three hours if she doesn't use t-h-c oil to treat it. brooke has a nurse that is required to give her the medicine if she gets a seizure at school. ( marty ) sacramento neighbors say they were shocked to see this video. it shows what appears to be a woman leaving a child in an infant seat in a stranger's driveway. this was captured on surveillance video wednesday night. the woman returned two hours later to retrieve the car seat. one neighbor believes the woman got into an argument with a man... and thinks she may have left the child in the driveway to keep it safe. now neighbors hope this mother will ask them for help - next time around. ( marty ) firefighters are scrambling to contain the charlie fire. the fast- moving brush fire broke out saturday afternoon in castaic, just north of los angeles. it scorched over one-thousand acres in the first two hours. and as of this morning, it has grown to over three thousand acres...with only 10 percent containment. evacuations are in place for nearby neighborhoods. the cause of the fire is under investigation. ( marty ) governor brown has signed a controversial new law... allowing utilities to bill their customers to pay for future legal settlements from the devastating wildfires last year. the bill is aimed at preventing bankruptcy for p-g and e. the utility faces billions of dollars in liability if investigators find its equipment caused the tubbs fire. that wildfire destroyed thousands of homes and killed 22 people in santa

emergency treatment for her random seizures. the rincon valley union school district in santa rosa origionally sought to ban the drug from school grounds, saying it violates federal law. her family fought the ban saying that brooke's seizures last two to three hours if she doesn't use t-h-c oil to treat it. brooke has a nurse that is required to give her the medicine if she gets a seizure at school. ( marty ) sacramento neighbors say they were shocked to see this video. it shows what appears to be a woman leaving a child in an infant seat in a stranger's driveway. this was captured on surveillance video wednesday night. the woman returned two hours later to retrieve the car seat. one neighbor believes the woman got into an argument with a man... and thinks she may have left the child in the driveway to keep it safe. now neighbors hope this mother will ask them for help - next time around.
