feintstein released a statement saying that - this latest incident should be reffered to the f-b-i for investigation before kavanaugh's confirmation resumes. ( robin ) the white house and judge kavanaugh denied the allegation ... calling it a "smear" campaign. the new yorker reported that deborah ramirez, now 53-years-old... attended yale with kavanaugh and says he exposed himself to her at a dorm party in the early 1980s. according to the new yorker, ramirez was initially reluctant to come forward because she says her memory contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time. the first allegation against kavanaugh was made by palo alto professor... christine blasey ford who said kavanaugh groped her and tried to remove her clothes during a party in high school. over the weekend ford committed to testifying about her alligations in a public hearing on thursday. bay area congresswoman anna eshoo says she was the first to hear ford's story.

( robin ) new this morning 6 people are displaced after a fire at a duplex overnight in daly city. the fire broke out just after 6:00 last night on lisbon street. nobody was injured but firefighters did have to rescue a dog and a cat... which were taken to a veternarian for treatment. the cause of the fire is under investigation. ( robin ) another big story we are following this morning... we are hearing from the victim in a freeway shooting on interstate 9-80 in oakland. the man was injured by shattered glass after someone opened fire just before 8:00 on friday night. you can see the injuries onhis chin and behind his ear. the shooting happened while the man was driving in eastbound direction-- near interstate 5-80. he had been watching a dog and says he was driving to walnut creek to return the dog to it's owner. that dog was also injured in the shooting and this morning we have learned that

the dog has died. ( robin ) right now, police are still working to get a description of the shoter and the vehicle. ( robin ) happening today... 49ers quarterback jimmy garopollo will have an m-r-i after injuring his knee in yesterday's game against the kansas city chiefs. the team believes that he tore his a-c-l. the injury happened late in the 4th quarter. you can see that left knee buckle just as garopollo planted the leg to make a cut. garrapolo just signed a five year deal with the niners in the off season... with 100 million dollars gaurunteed. after the game... it was a

( robin ) in the north bay... police are investigating a burglary at an apple store in the santa rosa plaza mall. it happened late last month... but this video was just released. police say three men entered the apple store and ran away with more than 35-hundred dollars worth of electronics. this theft is similar to several apple store thefts that have happened across thebay area. investigators are looking for cell phone video that can help identify the thieves. ( robin ) new this morning... president trump has imposed new tariffs on chinese goods. those tariffs went into effect at midnight. among the thousands of goods affected: baseball gloves, network routers and food seasonings. chinese officials say they'll strike back with new taxes on american items like auto

( robin ) this morning... we are hearing from a north bay woman believed to be the first victim of the notorious nor cal rapist.. after 27 years... police arrested 58- year-old roy waller.. he is accused of raping... torturing and robbing at least ten women over a fifteen year span. kron 4's gayle ong spoke with one of his alleged victims. nicole earnest-payte is speaking out about what she says roy waller did to her 27 years ago..on june 22nd 19-91, earnest-payte says waller entered her rohnert park home..and sexually assaulted her..back then she was 21 years old..

today... bill cosby will be back in a pennsylvania court for sentencing on his conviction of sexual assault. cosby faces up to ten years in prison for each of the three counts against him. the 81-year old actor was found guilty of sexually assaulting andrea constand in his home near philadelphia in 2004. cosby's defense team is expected to appeal the guilty verdict and the judge could allow cosby to remain on -house arrest- until the appeal is resolved. ( robin ) this morning we are hearing from the man who kidnapped a vallejo woman and held her for ransom. matthew muller will get the chance to question his victims when he represents himself in court. kron 4's gayle ong spoke to him from the solano county jail. speaking to us from jail.. matthew muller - is the man convicted in federal court in the "kidnapping-for-ransom case" -- in 20-15, muller broke in and attacked denise huskins and aaron quinn in his vallejo homemuller sexually assaulted huskins and released her two days later outside her family's home in southern california.now muller - a disbarred harvard-trained attorney will get the chance to question his victims in court this weekhe says he cannot give much details about the case but we can expect to hear all about it in court muller says his goal is to go forward with the process that will be fair and just with everybody..

( robin ) in the east bay... a brush fire broke out near homes in san ramon and several people were forced to evacuate. the fire broke out around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. about 10 homes were evacuated on estancia court. one man we spok with said he got a call from his wife who could hear the fire crackling near their home.

( robin ) the fire was knocked down in about 45 minutes. the fire department credits the people in the neighborhood for cutting back the brush and creating a defensible space around their homes. ( robin ) and in the south bay... two firefighters were injured battling a grass fire that burned more than 30 acres. it burned in the area of quimby road and borden drive in east san jose. the fire broke out around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. it burned about 30 acres and was under control by about 8:30 last night. the firefighters suffered only minor injuries. nobody else was injured and no buildings were damaged. ( robin ) a judge has ruled that a santa rosa girl is allowed to use her cannabis drug on campus to treat her seizures. earlier this year we introduced you to 5-year-

old brooke adams. brooke has a rare form of epilepsy. she takes the marijuana drug known as t-h-c oil as an emergency treatment for her random seizures. the rincon valley union school district in santa rosa origionally sought to ban the drug from school grounds, saying it violates federal law. her family fought the ban saying that brooke's seizures last two to three hours if she doesn't use t-h-c oil to treat it. brooke has a nurse that is required to give her the medicine if she gets a seizure at school. ( robin ) also in the north bay... it was a scary scene in santa rosa as a teenager was stabbed during a fight at a football game. it happened during a montgomery high school football game friday night. a teenage girl confronted at least two other girls in the crowd and tried to assault them. the girl who initiated the confrontation walked away but realized a short time later that she had been stabbed.

her injuries are serious but not considered life threatening. santa rosa police are now offering a 25- hundred dollar reward for information leading to an arrest. ( robin ) in the east bay.. people who live and work near a busy berkeley intersection say they're tired of seeing trailers parked on the streets taking up space. it's been going on for more than a month... kron 4's ella sogomonian has the story. about a dozen rv's and trailers have lined the streets of 8th and harrison in berkeley for more than a month now.people who work in the area tell kron 4 news off camera that parking spaces for employees and customers are taken up and want the city to do something about it.those living in the rv's say they don't want it to be this way either...sot: amber whitson, friends on wheels// "people who live in vehicles just want to stay out of your way even more than you want them out of your way. really we just want to stay out of peoples way but it's hard to stay out of peoples way when you livein something that has to be parked in the street."merced dominguez also lives in one of the rv's... the berkeley local

'those seeking to immigrate to the united states must show they can support themselves financially or they may not be eligible for a green card. immigration activists claim the rule would áhurt the country in the long run. the center for american progress said the proposal would mean that someone would have to achieve the american dream somewhere else before coming to the united states. ( lydia ) this morning we are hearing from a north bay woman believed to be the first victim of the nor-cal rapist. after 27 years.. police arrested 58-year-old roy waller. he is accused of raping.. torturing and robbing at least ten women over a fifteen year span. on june 22nd 19-91 nicole earnest-payte says waller entered her home.. and sexually assaulted her. she says she was asleep on the couch when she woke up to a gun at her head. but now... earnest-payte says she is telling her story hoping to empower other victims of sexual assault. wife and mother living in petaluma.. and says she is lviing proof her life did not get destroyed. during the montgomery high school football game friday night. a female teenager confronted at least two other female teens in the crowd and tried to assault them. the girl who initiated the fight walked away but realized a short time later that she had been stabbed. her injuries are serious but non life threatening. no arrests have been made but santa rosa police are looking for more information that could help them in their investigation, and are ofering a 25-hundred dollar reward. ( james ) in the east bay... the oakland police department cracked down on a sideshow overnight that led to a number of arrests and nearly 100 vehicles being towed. take a look at this chopper video from c-h-p. you can see how massive the crowd was. two officers were assaulted while arresting two people. this all happened sunday morning at the 880 off ramp that funnels into high street. ( lydia ) also in the east bay... people who live and work near a busy berkeley intersrection say they're tired of seeing trailers parked on the streets taking up space. more than a

dozen r-v's and trailers have lined the streets of 8th and harrison for more than a month. people who work in the area say parking spaces are taken up and they want the city to do something about it. those living in the r-v's say they don't want it to be this way either.. and they want to stay out of people's way. ( james ) a judge has ruled that a santa rosa girl is allowed to use her cannabis drug on campus to treat her seizures. earlier this year we introduced you to 5-year- old brooke adams. brooke has a rare form of epilepsy. she takes the marijuana drug known as t-h-c oil as an emergency treatment for her

random seizures. the rincon valley union school district in santa rosa origionally banned the drug from school grounds, saying it violates federal law. her family fought the ban saying that brooke's seizures last two to three hours if she doesn't use t-h-c oil to treat it. brooke has a nurse that is required to give her the medicine if she gets a seizure at school. ( james ) firefighters are scrambling to contain the charlie fire. the fast- moving brush fire broke out saturday afternoon in castaic, just north of los angeles. it scorched over onethousand acres in the first two hours. and as of this morning, it has grown to over three thousand acres...with only 20 percent containment. evacuations are in place for nearby neighborhoods. the cause of the fire is under investigation. ( lydia ) governor brown has signed a controversial new law... allowing utilities to bill their customers to pay for future legal settlements from the devastating wildfires

( james ) in the east bay... a brush fire broke out near homes in san ramon and several people were forced to evacuate. the fire broke out around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. about 10 homes were evacuated on estancia court. the fire was knocked down in about 45 minutes. the fire department credits the people in the neighborhood for cutting back the brush and creating a defensible space around their homes. ( james ) and in the south bay... two firefighters were injured battling a grass fire that burned more than 30 acres. it burned in the area of quimby road and borden drive in east san jose. the fire broke out around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. it was under control by about 8:30 last night. the firefighters suffered only minor injuries. nobody else was injured and no buildings were damaged. following a string of robberies in the downtown area. police were called to the area of park avenue and south market street in connection to several robberies early sunday morning. the robbers approached three separate groups of people. one victim was assaulted and taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries. one of the robbers did have a handgun. two men were booked at the santa clara county jail on charges including robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. ( lydia ) this morning we are hearing from a north bay woman believed to be the first victim of the nor-cal rapist. after 27 years.. police arrested 58-year-old roy waller. he is accused of raping.. torturing and robbing at least ten women over a fifteen year span. on june 22nd 19-91 nicole earnest-payte says waller entered her home.. and sexually assaulted her. she says she was asleep on the couch when she woke up to a gun at her head. but now... earnest-payte says she is telling her story hoping to empower other victims of sexual assault.

(lydia) in the north bay, it was scary scene in santa rosa as a teenager was stabbed during a fight at a football game. it happened during a montgomery high school football game friday night. a female teenager confronted at least two other female teens in the crowd and tried to assault them. the girl who initiated the fight walked away but realized a short time later that she had been stabbed. her injuries are serious but non life threatening. no arrests have been made but santa rosa police are looking for more

information that could help them in their investigation, and are ofering a 25-hundred dollar reward. ( james ) firefighters are scrambling to contain the "charlie fire." the fast- moving brush fire broke out saturday afternoon in castaic, just north of los angeles. it scorched over one-thousand acres in the first two hours. and as of this morning, it has grown to over three thousand acres...with only 20 percent containment. evacuations are in place for nearby neighborhoods. the cause of the fire is under investigation. ( james ) and this fire season ... cal fire is evacuating neighbors more quickly. earlier this month ... families were told to get out just an hour after the "irving fire" started in marin county. evacuating early is a change in protocol for cal fire. they say the population boom is creating extra traffic in the country ... which can be dangerous in the event of a raging fire. cal fire wants people to know we are entering the most
